It has 2 lovely swimming pools where young children can enjoy some splashing while the grown up can enjoy swimming. The location is also great for visiting Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast.

The reception staff, restaurant staff and bar staff were excellent. The hotel was brilliant. Everything about it, 5/5. No doubt if I ever go back to the region of Italy, I'll certainly stay at this hotel again!

Lovely setting, free shuttle bus, staff friendly. The organisation of meals however was a little disorganised. Views amazing.

The staff are wonderful and pay a great deal of attention to detail in every aspect, the food was extremely tasty and plenty of it. We stayed all inclusive and have no complaints at all, however the bar closed at 10pm which was the only downside but then we all got to bed early without any late noise. I fully recommend.

Stayed here a few years ago. As memory serves, nice location and view with decent food. Walked into town and bought some great homemade wine. Not much within walking distance. Don't walk to the train station, it's further than it looks.

This is an amazing hotel perfectly located between Pompei and Sorrento. So much is included, including breakfast, beach access and parking. A short walk up the hill is an amazing view to watch the sunset. The restaurant is fantastic and the views from the spacious and comfortable common areas are wonderful.

The price for this hotel was more than fair. The operation: excellent. The people at the front desk were truly helpful. Specially Davide. Was a gentleman. And the village Vico Equense is so beautiful and picturesque.

The hotel is wonderful! Each room has a balcony overlooking the sea, and it was amazing waking up to the sound of the waves each day. (Not if patio doors closed however. Not sure this is s good value place to go: 1. Their staff are friendly in general but not very helpful all the time. We were there for a wedding so would like to have some shirts and dresses ironed, we were told we can’t have ironing in the room as “it’s against Italian law”. This is not the only hotel we stayed in Italy over so many years but this “law” is new... Maybe staff in this hotel is the law...

We attended a wedding at Capo la Gala this October. The views are stunning and the hotel is furnished to a high standard. Probably one of the best places to stay near Vico Equense.

We stayed at Angiolieri 7 years ago and were happy to be back this summer. Very nice and attentive staff. Excellent food. Breakfast system can be a bit slow but okay given circumstances. The view outweighs everything else. On the other side, rooms are starting to become outdated, noisy air conditioning, difficult to regulate temperature. We came here for our Honeymoon for the views. Our room was stocked with chocolates and all the toiletries. It was clean and spacious. Our balcony was on the corner and we got a limited view of the sea. However, the breakfast was to DIE FOR, from fruits, meats, cheeses, breads, and everything else. Plus there was seating outside, where you could sit on the cliff overlooking the sea and mountainside...

On a Monday, live music in the bar restaurant and good food. The room is nice, but not the biggest. We were a bit disappointed by their offer of an excursion at 330Euro, but they couldn't say what was included for such a price.

Overall a nice hotel. The views and the grounds are amazing. The breakfast is good, although I think the 5-star rating is a stretch. We had a standard room and I’d say it more resembles what we’ve seen in 3-4 star hotels. After 50+ nights in Italian hotels I’m still intrigued by the ambiguous star system.

Place not suitable for those who have to visit the surrounding cities and towns, as it is quite far away, but excellent for spending a few relaxing days with your family. The hotel is well located beside the train station and with a small private equipped beach (navette service included). The service at reception is good! However, the rooms are not big. I noticed they try to save money on equipment (tv, room) and breakfast (not very good for a 4 stars hotel). Hotel Oriente is, by far, a gem yet to be discovered. Only 2 min away from the train station, built on a rock and with breath taking views over the sea a d the famous Vesuvius. Very friendly staff! You have to walk 5-10 minutes downhill to the beach. The hotel offers a shuttle service for free, means it’s no problem to get up and down easily without walking. The hotel itself is very clean. We had a pretty room that got cleaned every day. The breakfast contains a lot of sweet stuff, fresh orange juice, fruits and coffee! Overall a great experience!

The hotel is quite picturesque and the location is wonderful. But the best without a doubt is Giuseppe!!

Had dinner here one evening end of September. The restaurant service was impeccable, food was great and the views were amazing. Unlike other places where you “gamble” when choosing your food, our waiter had the knowledge and skills to present it in such way that it becomes an experience. I did not stay at the Sporting Hotel but I paid to use their private beach and it was worth it! They have an elevator on the backside of the patio that will take you down to their private beach for a small fee. If you are a guest of the hotel this fee is waived. The beach has chairs and umbrellas for rent and the beach is mostly stone. They have a large area sectioned off for swimming and have a lifeguard...

Beautiful location but the level of maintenance at the beach club, spa, pool and basic amenities are awful. A room with a view: ours looked out directly towards Vesuvius! Great staff and a very pleasant hotel. Good food, especially the breakfast terrace where, at night we could watch classical dancers practising, for themselves rather than for the public. Unforgettable. Easy, high quality living.

I highly recommend Le Axidie for a quiet and luxurious getaway. The staff are some of the nicest and most helpful people we came across in Italy. Particularly Giulia and Valentina at the front desk who helped us at every opportunity. Salvatore and chef at the restaurant were extremely helpful. Breakfast was incredible each morning and so is the view.

I have taken multiple school groups here and they are simply amazing. Perfect location, beautiful views of bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Breakfasts are amazing, set you up for the day. Just back from a lovely break in Vico Equense. We stayed in Hotel Aequa and it was excellent. It was very well run and the staff were very polite and friendly. The location is ideal, in the middle of a lovely town. It is only a 2 minute walk to the train station, where you can explore the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. We are very much looking forward to our return to this great hotel.

Went here on a school excursion with Toronto high, Australia, was amazing, not just the hotel but the whole area, had an amazing time even though the pool wasn’t filled it was amazing and I can’t wait to go again

A very nice hotel with lovely gardens and pool. Good food and lovely staff but, because we came as part of a group, our rooms are rather dated although very clean. Much better rooms I think if you book as individuals.

The hotel is somewhat dated with old rooms, but service is good. Swimming pool area fine and clean. Breakfast somewhat basic, but adequate. Noisy school at the hotel, but a quiet night. Got a room with no view or balcony, but had it switched to a better one after two days. All the sea facing rooms were occupied, though.

This is a proper old style Italian hotel. Fabulous location overlooking the bay of naples. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Standard bedrooms are not great but the superior rooms are great. Very quiet in October but I'm sure it's different in August

We had a great family stay here in Feb 19. Room 8 is a family suite with 2 good sized rooms (and 2 TVs) with sea and volcano view. So glad we stayed here and not Naples, very relaxing. Nice breakfast (with nice cakes and proper Italian coffees). Without exception we felt that all of the staff genuinely care about the guests, this made us feel extremely welcome.

Great hotel, staff very helpful and can't do enough for you. It's a bit of a hike into town if you don't have transport but they arrange a lift if required. We came out of season so not many of the surrounding bars, restaurants were open until the day before we were due home. Season seems to start at the first weekend in March. Lovely place but don't get a taxi transfer from the airport... cost us...

hidden gem in a recluse marina, perfect if you want to hide away from the rush of tourists in sorrento. Amazing breakfast and service throughout. Obviously the view is 10/10 there’s no discussion needed, however we haven’t experienced exactly friendly attitude from staff, they didn’t provide us with some essential information like for example that you need to book the beach one day in advance as all of them are super full. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the view from the balcony is unbelievable and the hotel employees are very kind and helpful. It is still a three star hotel however, and the breakfast is basic and somewhat unsatisfactory. If you're on a budget I definitely recommend staying here

We had a great time in a great place. Very warm hospitality. Clean, quiet, and very pretty.The only problem is that it's difficult to reach from the train. But Ivano, a great and suffusion host, was ready to pick us up and drive us with our suitcases.

Clean and tastefully decorated hotel. The location was very convenient as it was located a few steps away from the train station and stop for the shuttle bus from Naples Airport. Their seaside restaurant (accessible on foot through a steep road or by free shuttle service) made pretty good food as well. Great hotel in Vico Equense. Close to the train. Has a shuttle to take u down to private beach and back up. It is possible to walk but steep climb back up. The front desk is super helpful. The view from this hotel was breathtaking 😍 That's about it...the bed and breakfast was something else 😅 Let's just say it needs a major remodeling job. The mattress was terrible, it had a dip in it. The bathroom had a broken toilet seat. And the shower was soooo tiny if you dropped a soap bar you wouldn't reach it unless you opened the door. The couple that run the place were very kind to my son when he fell and hurt himself on the path from the cable car. They gave him antiseptic a glass of juice and a lolly. We sat and ate gelato while he calmed down and then, and only then, it was idyllic and spectacular in equal measure.

Villa Ketty is amazing place to spend your vacation in Italy. It was the best travel experience I've ever had, and they treat you like family.
