We came here for our Honeymoon for the views. Our room was stocked with chocolates and all the toiletries. It was clean and spacious. Our balcony was on the corner and we got a limited view of the sea. However, the breakfast was to DIE FOR, from fruits, meats, cheeses, breads, and everything else. Plus there was seating outside, where you could sit on the cliff overlooking the sea and mountainside...

On a Monday, live music in the bar restaurant and good food. The room is nice, but not the biggest. We were a bit disappointed by their offer of an excursion at 330Euro, but they couldn't say what was included for such a price.

This is an amazing hotel perfectly located between Pompei and Sorrento. So much is included, including breakfast, beach access and parking. A short walk up the hill is an amazing view to watch the sunset. The restaurant is fantastic and the views from the spacious and comfortable common areas are wonderful.

I can't recommend Hotel Mary enough. This hotel is everything it states on it's website. The views are gorgeous. The staff are very friendly and I wanted to give a special shout out to Josie, who took very good care of us and made sure that we had a packed breakfast to go when we had to get up very early. The price for this hotel was more than fair. The operation: excellent. The people at the front desk were truly helpful. Specially Davide. Was a gentleman. The view from our sea view room is breathtaking. Parking was free with vallet service. Transfer to the beach club was nicely organised. In general we were very happy from our stay. And the village Vico Equense is so beautiful and picturesque.

Amazing hotel! We loved food, drinks, nice staff, breakfast, style- beautiful rooms! It is true that the beach club is located down under the rock, but whoever has a problem, a car will come for them from the hotel. I didn't want to be lazy, so I walked the stairs to the Sea Club and it was amazing feeling to do something for my health. The view from the terrace is fascinating! We love Hotel Mary!

Modern hotel with nice rooms, access to a terrace with infinity pool, beach front (via shuttle) and spa. Breakfast was a good selection and lovely view. Drinks were expensive and shuttle not complementary. Two small downsides to our trip - bedroom was quite noisy with pipes, and the beach club shut at 19:00 despite the shuttle not coming till 19:20.

The hotel is wonderful! Each room has a balcony overlooking the sea, and it was amazing waking up to the sound of the waves each day. (Not if patio doors closed however. Not sure this is s good value place to go: 1. Their staff are friendly in general but not very helpful all the time. We were there for a wedding so would like to have some shirts and dresses ironed, we were told we can’t have ironing in the room as “it’s against Italian law”. This is not the only hotel we stayed in Italy over so many years but this “law” is new... Maybe staff in this hotel is the law...

The hotel is quite picturesque and the location is wonderful. But the best without a doubt is Giuseppe!!

Amazing

Had dinner here one evening end of September. The restaurant service was impeccable, food was great and the views were amazing. Unlike other places where you “gamble” when choosing your food, our waiter had the knowledge and skills to present it in such way that it becomes an experience. Thank you Giuseppe for being a master in your craft.

I did not stay at the Sporting Hotel but I paid to use their private beach and it was worth it! They have an elevator on the backside of the patio that will take you down to their private beach for a small fee. If you are a guest of the hotel this fee is waived. The beach has chairs and umbrellas for rent and the beach is mostly stone. They have a large area sectioned off for swimming and have a lifeguard...

It has 2 lovely swimming pools where young children can enjoy some splashing while the grown up can enjoy swimming. The location is also great for visiting Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast.

The reception staff, restaurant staff and bar staff were excellent. The hotel was brilliant. Everything about it, 5/5. No doubt if I ever go back to the region of Italy, I'll certainly stay at this hotel again!

Lovely setting, free shuttle bus, staff friendly. The organisation of meals however was a little disorganised. Views amazing.

The staff are wonderful and pay a great deal of attention to detail in every aspect, the food was extremely tasty and plenty of it. We stayed all inclusive and have no complaints at all, however the bar closed at 10pm which was the only downside but then we all got to bed early without any late noise. I fully recommend.

We had a great family stay here in Feb 19. Room 8 is a family suite with 2 good sized rooms (and 2 TVs) with sea and volcano view. So glad we stayed here and not Naples, very relaxing. Nice breakfast (with nice cakes and proper Italian coffees). Without exception we felt that all of the staff genuinely care about the guests, this made us feel extremely welcome.

Great hotel, staff very helpful and can't do enough for you. It's a bit of a hike into town if you don't have transport but they arrange a lift if required. We came out of season so not many of the surrounding bars, restaurants were open until the day before we were due home. Season seems to start at the first weekend in March. Lovely place but don't get a taxi transfer from the airport... cost us...

We got married at Le Axidie last year and it was wonderful! The wow factor arriving at Axidie made our guests very excited too. The food and service was fantastic, no request was too much. Beautiful location but the level of maintenance at the beach club, spa, pool and basic amenities are awful. So much money spent to use the beach or the spa but nothing is ever worked on in the 3 years I’ve been coming. The pool this year is dirty. The Hotel is totally over rated for what it is. Generally speaking it is described as a huge modern hotel with wellness, sea side, Sauna, treatments and an excellent restaurants. Also as child-free. I highly recommend Le Axidie for a quiet and luxurious getaway. The staff are some of the nicest and most helpful people we came across in Italy. Particularly Giulia and Valentina at the front desk who helped us at every opportunity. Salvatore and chef at the restaurant were extremely helpful. Breakfast was incredible each morning and so is the view.

Very friendly staff! You have to walk 5-10 minutes downhill to the beach. The hotel offers a shuttle service for free, means it’s no problem to get up and down easily without walking. The hotel itself is very clean. We had a pretty room that got cleaned every day. The breakfast contains a lot of sweet stuff, fresh orange juice, fruits and coffee! Overall a great experience!

We loved the hotel and the staff. Lovely food, 4 courses every night. Buffet breakfast. Very relaxing atmosphere. The train and bus station are 5 mins walk away, so easy to do all the sightseeing trips. Would definitely return

The hotel is near the train station, with a scenic view from the restaurant of the hotel and rooms. The rooms are average standard, quite clean, spacious, with the usual problems in the bathroom (pozabite effluents, old plumbing). Almost each room has a terrace or balcony. The Breakfast buffet, you can order eggs. Overall, an OK hotel.

Place not suitable for those who have to visit the surrounding cities and towns, as it is quite far away, but excellent for spending a few relaxing days with your family. From this place you can enjoy a wonderful view of the entire Gulf of Naples, especially in the evening with sunset. The rooms are comfortable, the services good. I have taken multiple school groups here and they are simply amazing. Perfect location, beautiful views of bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Breakfasts are amazing, set you up for the day. Just back from a lovely break in Vico Equense. We stayed in Hotel Aequa and it was excellent. It was very well run and the staff were very polite and friendly. The location is ideal, in the middle of a lovely town. It is only a 2 minute walk to the train station, where you can explore the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. We are very much looking forward to our return to this great hotel.

Went here on a school excursion with Toronto high, Australia, was amazing, not just the hotel but the whole area, had an amazing time even though the pool wasn’t filled it was amazing and I can’t wait to go again

A very nice hotel with lovely gardens and pool. Good food and lovely staff but, because we came as part of a group, our rooms are rather dated although very clean. Much better rooms I think if you book as individuals.

The hotel is somewhat dated with old rooms, but service is good. Swimming pool area fine and clean. Breakfast somewhat basic, but adequate. Noisy school at the hotel, but a quiet night. Got a room with no view or balcony, but had it switched to a better one after two days. All the sea facing rooms were occupied, though.

This is a proper old style Italian hotel. Fabulous location overlooking the bay of naples. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Standard bedrooms are not great but the superior rooms are great. Very quiet in October but I'm sure it's different in August

We had a great time in a great place. Very warm hospitality. Clean, quiet, and very pretty.The only problem is that it's difficult to reach from the train. But Ivano, a great and suffusion host, was ready to pick us up and drive us with our suitcases.

My wife and i visited villa ketty with two of our friends for 4 nights because we wanted to go to pompeei. As it was very late at night we informed the owners and they said do not worry, do you need to eat?
