Wonderful place to stay! Staff makes you feel like your local family with help and knowledge on how and where to make your visit to the Amalfi coast everything you could hope. Vico Equense is the perfect doorway to the coast - small, quaint, and easy access to all activities. The staff will curate your excursions with their personal insights. Danny at the pool bar will make your afternoon relaxing...
We stayed with our children for one week and this trip had been absolutely unforgettable! The staff are so friendly and accommodating! I can’t say enough about them… They really go above and beyond and helped us make our first family trip to Italy one to never forget. The views are spectacular and the room size was comfortable for a family of 4. Our children enjoyed swimming in the heated pool. My...
We did not stay at the hotel but we ate dinner in their dining room. It was a fabulous experience especially because of our gentleman server. He was so excited and passionate about everything on the menu that we were too. The shared apertif platter was really delicious. The view is incredible and it was a lovely experience.
Definitely come here if you're looking for a spectacular view while you dine
The view is amazing, beyond expectation.
High cost performance,
The service is very considerate,
The town is roughly between Naples and Sorrento, so if you drive by yourself, you will not be disappointed if you choose this hotel.
This hotel and staff were so nice. Every single staff member we interacted with (quite a lot) were all so friendly and helpful. If ever I was to run a hotel I would love the staff to be as amazing as this team.
We had a rental car and the staff parked it securely in the gated parking area. We had access to the car anytime we wanted.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Mary and want to highlight the fantastic staff who made our visit special. Vincenzo in the restaurant and his team truly went the extra mile, providing excellent service with no fuss and making us feel very welcome. Their dedication and friendly attitude really stood out and added to our overall positive experience.

We absolutely fell in love with this place! 😍 Perfectly located on a cliff with breathtaking scenery. There truly are no words to fully express how it made us feel. The elevator to the beach is such a thoughtful and convenient feature, it made everything so much easier.
One small suggestion: it would be even better if the sunbeds, umbrellas, and towels on the beach were included for hotel guests without...
This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely town. Our room had a fantastic sea view and the sunsets were spectacular. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff were super friendly. There's a private beach but the only way down is to take a lift. I didn't see any stairs. We would return here
Incredible location; older hotel that has been upgraded with modern amenities. Lobby is on the top floor and all rooms overlook the Med, as the hotel is literally built into the side of a cliff.
Amazing experience - the Hotel has so much charm and the location is maybe one of the most beautiful we have seen. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We ended up extending our stay as we enjoyed it so much. Would 100% recommend staying here!
Ciro was so lovely, attentive and helpful. He booked us into Cerase restaurant with the most amazing view. He was extremely responsive when there was a general power outage.
The hotel is fabulous! With its own beach club. Great location, only 10min walk from train station. Breakfast buffet was so good. The staff is super friendly and service was impeccable. Would stay there again!

An absolutely wonderful hotel — I can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone! It’s definitely in the top 5 hotels I’ve stayed at in my life. The design and atmosphere are stunning, and the team is incredibly friendly and welcoming.
We dined in the restaurant downstairs every day, where we enjoyed expertly prepared fish dishes — truly a culinary delight. Oh, and their wine is excellent too!

Lovely hotel, staff was great. Only two small notes - we had a lot of ants in our room and the wifi was pretty terrible. Fortunately we didn’t really need it. Otherwise 100% recommend.
The staff was so accommodating… beautiful property a bit off the beaten path. Best for easy lounging or if you want to tour the Amalfi coast.
Gorgeous getaway outside of Sorrento
This resort was beautifully located North of Sorrento with breathtaking views and all the amenities. The sea view room was extremely cool. The open-air fitness center overlooking boats on the sea was lovely and the tasting menu at the restaurant was delicious. We only had a very short stay in early spring but would love to come back again.
a resort (that's what it is) for a perfect getaway to get some downtime, to enjoy spectacular ocean views, and be pampered by the staff
This hotel has the most stunning views of the water and mountains. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We also had dinner at the restaurant, and it was really good. And the staff was so helpful. They have a shuttle that takes you into town by the train station, which was very convenient. They even arranged a ride to the airport for us. BE AWARE!! Fantastic, wonderful location. Awesome staff, delicious food!. The rooms are really ugly, outdated, and sort of gross. Furniture is extremely dated, old and brown. Nightstand wobbles. Dried caulking where there shouldn't be any. Shower only, no tub, and the water doesn't drain properly. At the end of a 5-minute shower, you'll have dirty soapy water high to your ankles. I'm truly...
This place was truly magical. The staff was amazing. They were friendly, attentive and went above and beyond. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We ate both evening meals at the hotel. All In all I enjoyed my experience in this wonderful hotel. Amazing staff, good food and breath taking views. Will come back again definitely. Thank you all for your attentiveness and hospitality. Rooms could be upgraded to look better and the menue could be slightly different.
The staff was amazing and very responsive. The location is incredibly convenient to the rail system. I cannot say how much we appreciated the front desk and restaurant staff. They were so kind. We were delayed from one of our outings due to the trail derailment on 4/17/25 and they were so kind to us when we finally got back.

We stayed here for the last week of August. It is a beautiful building in an excellent location. It's a two minute walk to the train station, ten minutes to the beach and about five minutes to the main town. It overlooks the sea and mount Vesuvius in the distance. The jacuzzi is available to book for free for 40 minutes at a time but we didn't end up using it as we prefer the beach. Our room was very...
This hotel was perfect for a stay on the Amalfi coast. The hotel is in vico Equense, only a 13 minute train into sorrento (the train station is right outside the hotel) where you can go explore or get other transport from sorrento to positano, Capri and Amalfi. The train also provided easy access to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples. Vico equence itself is also a beautiful town which is much less touristy...
Just back from a 10 day stay in Hotel Oriente. We stayed last year and returned for another stay. While the rooms are spotless and comfortable and location is excellent we have certainly seen a little deterioration in the hotel. The hotel was very peaceful and welcoming with a beautiful scenery. The room was specious and clean. And felt like home to me. Beds were clean and comfortable. The location was great and train station was only 5 minutes from the hotel. Breakfast was ok but it didn’t present a breakfast in a 4 stars hotel. I would go to this hotel again and I already miss it.
Brilliant location for getting out and about. Food is lovely as are the staff. More for couples than family's. Beach is lovely after a day exploring. More for travellers looking for the real Italy. We adored the location and Vico Equense was lovely
This isn’t a 4 star hotel. The pictures provided by the hotel must be from some time ago.
Basic rooms
Our view was amazing room 219 however the wake up each morning from 6:15/6:30 am with tables and chairs and could even hear the chopping for the breakfast being prepared made this room not the best. I don’t want to be woken up each day whilst away at that time. Small balcony.
Not much to the breakfast...

Such a lovely hotel. So kind and helpful. Use of a private beach. Superb breakfast
Clean and tastefully decorated hotel. The location was very convenient as it was located a few steps away from the train station and stop for the shuttle bus from Naples Airport. Absolute gem of a hotel. Relatively small, family run, with a lovely Italian vibe. Staff so friendly and helpful. Stunning views over the bay of Naples. I have taken multiple school groups here and they are simply amazing. Perfect location, beautiful views of bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Breakfasts are amazing, set you up for the day. It has an amazing sort of "old world" ambience and the town itself is lovely. Australian Teacher who will always stay at this hotel
Just back from a lovely break in Vico Equense. We stayed in Hotel Aequa and it was excellent. It was very well run and the staff were very polite and friendly. The location is ideal, in the middle of a lovely town. It is only a 2 minute walk to the train station, where you can explore the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. We are very much looking forward to our return to this great hotel.
Went here on a school excursion with Toronto high, Australia, was amazing, not just the hotel but the whole area, had an amazing time even though the pool wasn’t filled it was amazing and I can’t wait to go again
A very nice hotel with lovely gardens and pool. Good food and lovely staff but, because we came as part of a group, our rooms are rather dated although very clean. Much better rooms I think if you book as individuals.
The hotel is somewhat dated with old rooms, but service is good. Swimming pool area fine and clean. Breakfast somewhat basic, but adequate. Noisy school at the hotel, but a quiet night. Got a room with no view or balcony, but had it switched to a better one after two days. All the sea facing rooms were occupied, though.
This is a proper old style Italian hotel. Fabulous location overlooking the bay of naples. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Standard bedrooms are not great but the superior rooms are great. Very quiet in October but I'm sure it's different in August

We stayed in the apartments they were basic but clean and pretty. The beach was wonderful as well as the pool. It would be hard if my grandbabies came because there isn't an area for littles in the pool (too deep). However we will return because it really was a great place to stay.
We got married at Le Axidie last year and it was wonderful! The wow factor arriving at Axidie made our guests very excited too. The food and service was fantastic, no request was too much. They made the wedding preparation process feel so easy. It felt like a dream and we didn't want to leave. Some of the staff we would like to thank in particular are Tiziana, Anna, Matteo, Daniel, Annamaria, Salvatore...
We stayed in Axidie over 2 weeks and got to experience all the ups and downs of the hotel/ area and nearby trips. Although we didn’t feel the rooms were worth the price, everything else compensated for it!
Overall we had a great experience, hence why we stayed so long. We got the opportunity to engage with most of the staff!

Beautiful location but the level of maintenance at the beach club, spa, pool and basic amenities are awful. So much money spent to use the beach or the spa but nothing is ever worked on in the 3 years I’ve been coming. The pool this year is dirty. The Hotel is totally over rated for what it is. Generally speaking it is described as a huge modern hotel with wellness, sea side, Sauna, treatments and an excellent restaurants. Also as child-free. Well, reality is not that.

A lovely hotel, beautifully situated with very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spotlessly clean if a little on the small side. Very cost-effective, the view is extremely stunning
The room is comfortable and looks like the old European style
The front desk is very friendly
The price is very affordable and the terrace has an unbeatable sea view of the entire peninsula
I didn't like it, the room I booked was not the one I was given, the heating stopped working at night and started working again in the morning.
I believe that other rooms are more comfortable, but the one I stayed in was very small.
I don't recommend it.
This hotel is located halfway up the mountain. If you are not driving here, I would not recommend it. The manager of this hotel is arrogant and unreasonable. I don't know if he treats Chinese people this way or everyone else. His tone is very uncomfortable. When we checked out, we found that their front desk was flying the Israeli flag. I hope everyone can avoid it.
