Hyatt Centric Murano Venice

We stayed here in October 2024 for two nights and we're happy with our choice. The hotel is very conveniently located in Murano. Walking distance to everything, restaurants, shops, tourist attractions and the ferries/boats. The hotel was clean, the service was good but the best part of staying at this hotel was the evening bartender Stan. He was the best bartender we've ever encountered. He was so fun, so warm, so friendly and made the best cocktails! We enjoyed our time at the Hyatt Murano that much more because of Stan. Even if you are not staying here, go and get a drink at the bar and you will see how wonderful he is!

Great hotel! The staff was very helpful and accommodating both at check-in and throughout our three night stay. The room was spacious, very comfortable beds and linens and a great walk-in shower with both rainfall and wand. The breakfast is amazing! Huge selection of both hot and cold dishes. Custom coffee maker, lots of fresh fruits and breads, we were mildly surprised how good it was! The location is ideal for Murano, right in the center of the island, Vaporetto stand just outside the front doors. We arrived directly from Venice and visiting there or other islands is a breeze. Added bonus? The sauna spa. Yes, it costs 10 extra Euros but your hour slot is well worth it, luxurious!

This hotel was the best way to start our trip to Italy! Upon arrival, the woman who checked us in was very friendly and gave us plenty of recommendations for where to eat, tour, and relax. She was so kind and greeted us every morning.

The restaurant bar, ‘Spritz & Fizz’ is AMAZING! Amazing staff and service, incredible food, so KIND! The food here is better than 99% of the tourist traps in Venice, and it’s open late. You should eat here even without a room reservation!

Not to mention the location of this hotel is ideal. I 100% recommend staying in Murano and not the main Venice island. Public transport by boat is very cheap and easy to use, and traveling to Venice is very quick.

In summary, you will love this place just like we did. Perfect for anniversaries, romantic travels, or just sightseeing and relaxing.

We visited Venice in July 2024 as part of a family trip. We stayed at the Hyatt Centric Murano because it was away from the busy center of Venice and offered us a place to relax at the end of our day. The hotel is beautiful and is located on the island of Murano which is very small and quiet compared to the main city. It is easy to walk around the island and see the sights. We had a private water taxi drop us off directly in front of the hotel from the airport. There is also a very convenient dock for the local water bus system that takes you to Venice and it is located right in front of the hotel.

When we arrived the staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than normal check-in time due to the timing of our incoming flight but they had our rooms ready and we were able to get settled right away. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel was nice all around. There is a restaurant and bar on site. We had breakfast daily at the hotel which was a wonderful buffet of fresh foods. The service was exceptional each day.

Any time we had questions the staff was very accommodating. They recommended restaurants, activities, and helped us learn how to use the water bus system (very easy).

If we go back to Venice, this would be our first choice of places to stay. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city

Great room，large and elegant, like the Hyatt chain hotels. Location is very close to ferry, though it is almost an hour ride from the main island, it is quite and away from the crowd.

Very good value for money, would recommend.

just one caveat: there aren't many restaurants open after 6pm and definitely no gelateria after that time...a bit of a pity for us when we returned one day early back wanting to explore Murano at night...

So it is better to dine outside for dinner and return later if you wish to have more choices

We recently stayed here for 4 nights. Our room had a loft up top with a king bed so it was really nice to have separate areas. The skylights were a nice touch. You can open and close the windows and shades with the touch of a button. The hotel is right across from a ferry which was very convenient. Breakfast was good but very expensive if it isn’t included in your stay. There is a grocery store a few minutes walk away. There are many restaurants within a 10-11 minute walk, but most of them close at 5pm with a few remaining open until 6pm. We had trouble finding dinner one night because of not knowing this. Murano is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen and I would highly recommend visiting and staying at the Hyatt Centric! I would definitely stay here again!

Good, Bad, Ugly… and the AMAZING

Let me start with the bad - fellow US travelers there is no central AC - make sure to tell the front desk you need the “colder side” of the hotel.

There is no ugly!

The good - its location to the water taxi is fantastic; the hotel however doesn’t have its own boat.

The AMAZING - Francesca at the front desk is A TREASURE after needing to move to a cooler room, she went above and beyond for us and had a smile on her face the entire time!

Stan the bartender is WONDERFUL and always has a smile on his face! You won’t regret your stay!!!

Was very impressed with hotel. Loved the room, location and help from the front desk staff in getting places. The full service bar and breakfast cafe were a plus as was the location right in front of public transport. Would certainly stay here again if every lucky enough to return to Venice
