A permanent exhibition of glass works by local and renowned artists can be seen in the common areas of the property. Our family stayed at this hotel for one night in Venice. Since there were four of us, we stayed in a duplex suite with breakfast included. I highly recommend experiencing the breakfast. The coffee from the in-room coffee machine was also excellent. Although the location wasn't on the main island, it was great that the water taxi stop was right in front of the hotel.You can't expect much of a view, but the windows in the duplex suite ensure good natural lighting.

Had an excellent stay at the Hyatt Centric in Murano. The staff were all lovely and the service was extremely good. The great experience started with the transfer from the airport on the hotels boat, with the driver providing some excellent advise on the trip over to the island. The breakfast buffet is amazing. We found the location perfect. A short boat ride to Venice but the vaporetto is regular and the journey is scenic (and for us at least uncrowded because we were travelling the opposite way to most- accept when we travelled from Murano to Burano, in hindsight we should have taken the hotel boat!). We were so glad to be staying away from the crowds in Venice and Murano is a beautiful Island with some lovely restaurants, cafes etc.

we slept okay, but there was noise outside and above my room. The room itself was nice, though it didn't have the view shown in the pictures. The breakfast, which we paid extra for, was good, but it was the same for three days."

The shuttle boat we booked with the hotel cost 22 euros per person and took us directly to the hotel entrance, which was a great experience. It was perfect for enjoying the beautiful scenery of Venice without anyone else around. You can also take a bus directly to the entrance. I didn't visit the Glass Island last time, so I wanted to explore it this time. The hotel is right outside the scenic area, so it was a great place to wander around. The bus from the entrance goes directly to the main island, which is quite convenient, but you still have to walk a bit to the boat station. The room was average, not very clean, and the view from the window was lacking, so choose carefully if you mind. I stayed at a five-star hotel in San Marco on the main island last time and was dissatisfied because it was too old. I wonder if Venice is just like that. The beautiful weather and the beauty of Venice these days may make up for some of these shortcomings.

The room was nice. Customer service however was hit or miss. Our check in representative was excellent and gave us recs. But on a Friday after exploring, a hotel rep saw us and gave us an angry “Hello?!?” and a stare down, like we couldn’t possibly be hotel guests to her. Don’t assume based on race?? They also don’t have AC during certain months. Our room was booked next to the courtyard and unbeknownst to us, there was a wedding that week and we had to hear the loud music play until 11pm. A warning would’ve been great or at least don’t place non-wedding guests next to the party??? The hotel restaurant has gluten free options. The manager was excellent but our actual waitress seemed to forget all about us. Our other Hyatt experiences have been absolutely excellent so very surprised by their varied customer service at this hotel. Murano is a sleepy town, many restaurants and gelato options close early and transporting to Venice late at night takes a bit of practice. Just a heads up.

The service is very good, the scenery is super beautiful, and it was the most comfortable two nights in Italy. The manager handled things very efficiently, and it is highly recommended. The hotel is on the glass island, very quiet and suitable for living and walking, and the restaurant tastes good

Staying in Murano definitely has its pros and cons. Either way, the hotel is situated perfectly in front of the boat stop and boats run very frequently (only at night is the service limited from the venetian side, meaning one has to walk to F.de Nove, which takes ca 20-25 min from San Marco Square).
Hotel itself has large rooms and all necessary amenities. Would certainly stay here again.
Recommendations for improving:
- more reliable hot water in the shower (water was maximum lukewarm in the mornings when we showered).
- more check-in desks/staff
- teach housekeeping to restock coffee capsules (we had to repeatedly ask)

I would stay away. I guess the experience here is hit or miss and unfortunately, we had a horrible experience. The only praiseworthy I’d say is the staff during breakfast and the food at the restaurant. It was good but the serving is tiny and quite expensive.
I have never seen a concierge staff that moody. I mean - come on - don’t work at hospitality if you would just show your downtrodden face. We were in line but his colleague needed to remind him to get us to check in. And while being checked in, the interaction was not pleasant at all. No eye contact, no greetings, just straight up answering the questions and that’s it. If only we didn’t see how great the service is by the other colleague who even offered to have their bags brought to their room with a smile. We are even globalists.
At the room, we had to open the windows to get air in. It is a little warm inside so we were provided with fans.
The location is conveniently located even if it is in Murano. The station is a few steps away and the ride is pleasant. A must for a tourist. The stores around closes early though so you have to get home just after sun down.

Amazing location! It is on an island in Murano. You get off the train, get on a water taxi (buy the 24 hour unlimited local water bus) and get off right in front of the hotel! It was gorgeous! Orange and gray hand blown glass from Murano in the hotel. It was so comfortable and the shampoo, etc was delightful including bottled water. I was PLEASANTLY surprised how wonderful my experience was! I loved the glasses so much I bought one from the local glass museum to bring home!
