We loved the entertainment staff and activities they created, particularly those in the evening. This is definitely a place for families. The sea was beautiful and all facilities (football, volleyball, archery, swimming) are great. The room was small and basic but sufficient.

If it happens that you land there, might come the gigantic problem that you don’t want ever to leave….! Everything is “over the top”

The personalized service we received was second to none , I’d like to make a special mention of Ivana who was available and accommodating of any request we had. We truly wanted for nothing. The trip was extremely enjoyable. In particular the housing and service was excellent. I enjoyed the sunset cocktails and the terrace at the sunset bar. Guiseppe and the front office team as well as the housekeeping were noteworthy. Big shout out to Mauro snd the GM Victor!

We had a fanatic time at this hotel. The staff were super attentive and kind and it was wonderfully relaxing. Great shuttle into the small nearby town of Otranto which is definitely worth visiting.

We just left 4 incredible days in Otranto at this wonderful hotel. The staff goes above and beyond to cater to their guests. The rooms are lovely and spacious and kept immaculate. An added plus is their free shuttle to the old town , the port, and beach clubs. We had rented a car but it’s quite stressful to figure out the parking. Their shuttle takes the stress out of driving!! HIGHLY recommend...

Mixed review here....quite a good room on same level as reception....we were lucky, lots of steps to the restaurant and pool not good for young families and older guests in my opinion. The room was quite good for four adults with two bathrooms but aircon died on our last night and we melted!! Received a nominal 25 euro discount....not good enough. Nice hotel which is located at about 3 km of port Otranto. Food is alright, a remark to make there are a lot of stairs/elevators to take get to your room. The way to your room can complicated.

Stunning place to rest and enjoy the beautiful Salento region. The property is well located only 5 minutes outside of Otranto with easy access to the city and amazing beaches in the area. Stayed here for two nights on our cycling holiday. Hotel was modern, clean and well decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a good selection to choose from. The hotel has a secure garage area close by where we could leave our bikes during the stay. The walk to the main restaurant/shopping area was about 7 minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

A wonderful stay in Otranto. My partner and I had an amazing stay at this hotel which is a short walk to the historical centre. The room was clean and with decent amenities. The hotel staff were amazing. Great staff at reception desk. Parking was free and nearby. Hot tub on rooftop is a great way to get me the day after sightseeing and visiting nearby beaches.

We called to have a room that was not noisy, but when we arrived and checked in, they placed us into the first room closest to the front desk. We were awakened by people checking out and music during breakfast. Additionally, the shower was incredibly small and it was hard to move around in. This is our biggest complaint. Otherwise, the hotel room was clean and complementary breakfast was decent.

Breakfast and dinner both very nearly perfect. Cakes at breakfast need to be more moist, and bread is not as exciting as might be. Liked the staff a lot. Very fond of the ambience of the plain white unfussy masseria itself. Swimming pool couldn’t be much better especially for a rubbish swimmer.

Ivan and the team were fantastic. Very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The masseria is well located near a lovely sandy beach (easily walkable), the use of the bikes to travel into Otranto was great, the pool was amazing, the dinner we had was delicious, and the breakfasts had a great selection. We didn’t stay there. We just used the spa. The spa was very nice! Relaxing. It had several sections which was a nice change from just a pool and sauna. The moose showers with scented water were unique for us and enjoyable. However we did find the sauna didn’t heat up very much, and water poured on the rocks didn’t evaporate violently. We visited this hotel as part of a tour of Puglia. We were a large group but the hotel were able to cater for us really well. Our room was very large with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold foods. We had dinner which was lovely.

Wonderful staff, owner on premises is very friendly, rooms nicely appointed and luxurious, pool in a relaxed setting with fruit trees and friendly cats and dogs hanging around. Plus, a very talented, but shy, chef in the restaurant who prepares excellent local cuisine. I very much recommend the Masseria Montelauro.

Dimora San Giuseppe is a beautiful quiet hotel away from the bustle and heavy tourist traffic of OTRANTO, although within walking distance of the Centro. You can’t drive your car up to the front door so a little annoying to pull your luggages from the entrance ramp.. but do-able.
