Booked through easyJet holidays. Hotel was certainly not a 4* probably 3* at best. Room assigned was nothing like the images shown on websites when booking, travelling as a couple we received a family room with bunk beds, two single beds and mattresses pushed together, MFI wardrobes, dated bathroom and the smallest ever shower, no WiFi in room. More like a hostel. We did request an alternative room within 24hrs of arrival but no support or solution from easyJet or hotel after multiple comms. Also every day pestered by cheese sellers around the complex on way to/from breakfast. Restaurant staff were rude on numerous occasions. Hotel is split into two areas and divided by road. Parking limited at peak times. Only positive would be location to town.

I could never recommend this place. Horrible stay in very dated rooms. Housekeeping was lovely but it ends there. Reception was rude and useless, as well as their hq offices. Waiting staff was some of the rudest we found, being shoved in the morning so they could pass through was not really expected in a 4 star facility. Please avoid.

This place was perfect for us and what we needed. The rooms are spacious, airy, fresh, and clean. Nice balcony. Housekeeping came everyday. Water hot. Has pools. A little beach space next to a forested area. Breakfast included, with eggs. Seems like some tour groups lodge here, and they seem to be enjoying. Simple place with convenient location. Bed is firm, we slept well. Could hear guests next door through the walls but it didn’t matter. We didn’t spend much time here with kiteboarding and visiting other locations on island. No wifi in room.

We stayed here for 1 night which was "ok". But this hotel is never a 4 stars hotel. BUT: The air conditioning does not work! We tried to call the reception from our room but no one answered. Then we went to the reception to complain about the air conditioning not working and we got the answer from the receptionist “today it's a problem, tomorrow it will work”. After reading many reviews about the non-functioning air conditioning, I doubt that the air conditioning works at all. All in all the hotel is outdated and we didn't have the feeling that anything would be renovated. The restaurant is very noisy and the breakfast was not very inviting. We just missed the love of doing this business at all.

We stayed at Club Esse Posada this summer - family of four including two teenagers. We were worried that it would be too quiet but the kids joined in the beach / sea activities, used the pools, played tennis etc so there was enough to do. The rooms are a little tired in their decor, but they are a decent size and have everything you need in them. The staff work very hard to keep them clean. We didn’t eat at the hotel (apart from breakfast) as we were only B&B, but it’s a very pleasant walk into town where you can find a wide choice of restaurants. Also, there’s a supermarket close to the hotel for lunch bits. We did the boat trip through the hotel to La Maddelena, which was fabulous and well worth the money. All in all a fab, relaxing holiday.

This is in no way a four-star hotel. The rooms are carelessly and minimally furnished, everything is in mediocre shape, and there was an alarm going off at 7:30 in the morning that was built into the wall and hidden behind the closet. There is no WiFi in the rooms, just in the lobby. The pool closes between 1 and 3 PM and after 7 PM, when the sun is still out and it’s super hot. You can’t charge anything to your room but have to pull out your credit card for every single thing you buy at the hotel bar. Pool towels cost extra, and they expect you to wear a paper wristband the entire time of your stay, as if this was a concert venue. We were not happy!

Good morning. I am now returning from a week's stay at the Capo d'Oro Club Esse residence. Very kind staff and very clean and well-kept environment. Excellent animation. I recommend an excursion organized by Salvatore (a kind and professional person) to the islands of the Maddalena archipelago. .
