Had an amazing stay at Sangallo hotel! Hotel service, food, air conditioning, all the experience was too notch! The reception is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are super tidy, and breakfast was always a refresher. Will recommend to everybody who is willing to stay near the city centre and enjoy the beautiful city of Perugia.

I really enjoyed this hotel, it was nice and new while being very centrally located. There was also a lovely balcony for nightcaps. Service and breakfast were also very good as well.

Our only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer. Bed and bath were well furnished and very comfortable; it is evident that the refurnishing focused on convenient details and important energy savings. The importance of not having the hall lighting on during the evening is huge - and also assures there is no light bleeding at the room door. We loved the convenient location to the historic center, as well as to the National Archaeological Museum of Umbria (amazing.) Logistics for the buffet breakfast could be reviewed - extra creamer containers and a relocation of the coffee & expresso to avoid traffic jams. However, we are looking forward to returning and hopefully relaxing in a room with a balcony! Beautiful hotel and town.

Had the unfortunate experience to stay at this hotel. It was a very warm day and there was no air conditioning. They sent someone up to the room to “fix” the problem but instead of admitting that they are not turning the air- probably a cost saving measure, they pretended that it was working just fine. So basically they are gaslighting their hotel guests by acting like the air is on but it isn’t!!! For the amount of money that they are asking for a room (over 750€) there should be air conditioning available rather than sleeping in a stifling hot room.
The gas lighting continues when they locked my sister and I out on the balcony. We stepped out to get some air and about 30 min later we noticed the sliding door was closed. We tried every door but were unable to get back indoors, we realized we were locked out. After banging the glass to no avail I remembered I had my cell phone and had to make an international call to the front desk where someone finally arrived to open the door and acted like it was open the entire time! It was not I can assure you! The door handles on the inside of the building were all up in the locked position.
I would highly recommend that you stay somewhere else.

The hotel is situated nicely as it is not directly in the old town. So it is easily reachable by car and it helps that the hotels is working together with a parking just around the corner as parking is difficult in Perugia. Our room was quite modern and had a nice view. The walls are a bit thin and we heard quite a lot from other rooms. The bed was a bit short for me, I would say its length was about 190cm. The welcome at the reception was a bit cold and also when checking out there was not a lot of time dedicated to inquire on the quality of the stay. Whilst the team at the evenings was really nice and the service at the bar was great. The breakfast was good but the room was very crowded due to the location of the buffet. Gluten free options were very limited. As a last point the pool is not that big and for this should be free. Also using swimming caps is not state of the art anymore. Overall I can recommend this hotel for a two-three night stay at Perugia.

The location is great, a bit outside the historical center that is too busy. The room was spotless clean, all services were amazing (had the pool booked for my partner and I in a blink). Special mention to Umberto, who welcomes you at the hotel. The nicest and most helpful person I have met during my holidays.

Had a lovely stay here all in all spoiled by parking and irritating 'elderly' (not sure if she was the owner) member of staff. I'm sure she is a nice person...just NOT suitable for reception /customer service sector. After a while I just ignored her and chose to speak to other hotel staff. I will refer to her as Lady X.
Parking is not far but beware it is NOT attached to hotel. Lady X explained to me in a matter if fact way as if to say "It's so obvious. It's just there!" I expect to be spoken to in a kind manner...especially after a 5-hour drive to get to Perugia! Anyway if you are trying to locate parking, look for 'Partigiani' sign (Lady X was totally unaware it had this sign!)

Very serviceable hotel, well located near the escalators by which you can reach the city center. Great breakfast service.

Good hotel. Very nicely located with access to good restaurants. Only downside..they do not keep iron or provide ironing service :(

Whilst the rooms were a little dated, they were well maintained by a fantastic maid service. The food was satisfactory, but left a little to be desired. However, this was easily rectified through the location and ease of access to the town center. The gym itself seemed to be more ticking a box than a quality facility for visiting athletes and the pool was very enjoyable.
