This is a beautiful hotel with a lot of history. We just felt really welcomed and comfortable during our entire stay. It's located in the perfect place, right at the edge of the centro. If we ever come back to Perugia, this is definitely where we will be staying!
Despite this, the hotel hides very beautiful and ancient parts (a wonderful reading room on the third floor, the breakfast room, a shared balcony with table and chairs, the external façade covered in ivy) but as the name suggests, a lot of luck is needed regarding the room.
Good breakfast, not very good (also considering that it was paid separately).

The location is certainly exceptional, practically in the centre, but it should also be noted that being close to clubs and restaurants there will be a lot of noise in the evening and at night.
Be careful when reaching the hotel by car, because to leave the area you pass through very narrow streets.
Ultimately very convenient for getting around on foot, but definitely too expensive for the old and decrepit room that they gave us (and of which they don't show any photos online).
Knowing little about the are, I asked for a dinner recommendation and the concierge did not steer me wrong. Restaurante Altromondo is right around the corner. Not to be missed. Also, I recommend Al Mangier Bene.
For the price, the location and quality cannot be beat. The only thing I would improve is the quality of the breakfast offerings but that is just me being picky. I am not staying at the hotel for the breakfast. Though the breakfast room is quite cozy.
