Lovely hotel with fantastic staff that really go above and beyond. Breakfast was lovely. It is a little further from the main part of lake como, however we found that the buses were frequent, straightforward and a fair price. We got taxis in the evenings as the buses don't run that late, which was a little more expensive but not too bad.

Stayed here for 4 nights in June 2023 and had an amazing experience. Room was large and spotlessly clean with a lovely views from our balcony. Staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. Lovely hotel set in a wonderful position overlooking Lake Como. The views from the hotel were just amazing. Lovely breakfast and everything one could need. The owners of the hotel are very nice and helpful. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Only about 10 minutes away by car from the beautiful town of Menaggio. Thank you for a memorable stay!

A nice place to stay at, if you are planning a trip around Lake Como. The view from the top room over the lake was simply stunning. Included breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the pizza at hotel’s restaurant was delicious. Friendly stuff made the stay a pleasure. Prepare for a steep ride up the narrow, windy roads to reach the location! Overall it is totally worth it, though.

Gorgeous little place. Family run, charming service, right on the lake so you sleep to the sound of waves lapping. 15 min walk to Mennagio for dinner and ferries all over the lake. Booked for 3 nights as part of driving holiday but didn't want to leave. Garden and 'beach' great to relax after days sightseeing. Tip; take swimming shoes, the stones are sharp

This hotel is bed & breakfast only and is very popular. Be careful how you park on the lower ramp. When leaving by car turn right to join flow of traffic and do a safe u turn in the small waterside public car park 100m away. Beautiful village with excellent views of the peaks of the Lario. Possibility of many beautiful excursions, mainly the Bregagnino and Monte Bregagno. Not recommended in midsummer due to the great heat and humidity coming from the lake.

Worst 5 star hotel we have stayed in. They are a fairly new 5 star hotel (4 star before their extension) and this showed in their customer service. My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay here! The staff were so nice and very helpful!! The only critique I have is that perhaps the management could introduce an improved selection at breakfast or serve a hot breakfast! You can't beat this hotel for views across the lake! Rooms are very nice, if not big, and the view from an upper floor balcony is wonderful. Staff were helpful and nice, and the breakfast good. It would have got 5 stars, but the separately run restaurant was a bit pricey with limited choice - it would have been nice to eat there more often, but we chose to go into town most nights.

Perfectly located. Nice pool and lounge area. Our "attic" room was quite tiny. But was clean and well furnished and appointed. The breakfast service was very nice. The restaurant denied us patio seating without reservations, despite being half empty throughout the meal. And restaurant prices were somewhat high for the area.

My husband and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the hotel bellavista, front desk staff were very kind and our room was clean with a beautiful view, staff helped us with our transfer to Milan as well. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed spending our afternoons by the pool overlooking the lake. The same can not be said about the hotel restaurant staff unfortunately.

We loved our stay at Grand Hotel Menaggio. Great views and a nice pool that was much needed as it was a heatwave when we stayed. The staff were very attentive and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Possibly the best buffet style breakfast I've had anywhere, too.

This hotel really is amazing, located wonderfully on Lake Como for beautiful views, lovely and friendly staff and the food is perfect too, we would highly recommend booking in for the evening meal here and book a Lake View room, they really are perfect views to wake up to.

Good value package holiday hotel with slightly small rooms but a good view over the lake. Small but nice swimming pool. The dock for boats going round the lake is conveniently nearby. You can visit the island where a Star Wars film was filmed.

The biggest highlight was the transportation, but the hotel facilities were very basic, like a 1-star hotel. However, the breakfast was a real standout – very rich with many kinds of ham and croissants. It was one of the best breakfasts we had during our stay.

The so-called 'sea view' was actually just a tiny glimpse of the sea from afar, across a road.
