Beautiful hotel, beautiful setting. Staff are friendly and helpful, all speak English if you don't speak Italian. Stunning! The views from our rooms were right out of a picture book or a fairy tale. The beds were most comfy and we just adored the view. This hotel would have for sure gotten 5 stars had i not got food poisoning from one of the on-site restaurants. The service is great, everyone is friendly, the building and property are beautiful, and the food is good, although a bit overpriced. The location is best in Bellagio. Our bedroom was overlooking the lake with absolutely uninterrupted views. Rooms were clean and everything of convenience was available 😃! A staff at the hotel even accommodated a request for coffee at 5:30am in the morning.

We stayed here for 3 nights a few years ago and loved it! Hotel Excelsior Splendide is in a perfect spot for travel to LAKE COMO , centrally located with steps to the many ferries that stop there daily. Such a beautiful place to stay. It's only a 20 min walk to Bellagio from here but there are regular buses that take you there for free. Really comfy rooms and delicious breakfast that Amelia cooks herself with products from her own farm.

We loved our stay at Grand Hotel Menaggio. Great views and a nice pool that was much needed as it was a heatwave when we stayed. The staff were very attentive and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Possibly the best buffet style breakfast I've had anywhere, too.
