I can’t imagine a better stay and in the best village on Lake Como. We stayed in the third floor of Casa Rossa. The online pictures don’t due justice how close you are to the water. The bed was not as soft as hotels in the States, but it didn’t affect our sleep — since we were tired from walking. A guesthouse well located and equipped with all the household essentials is reasonably priced. We find it comfortable to stay for two days. It is just near the lakeside and easily access to the ferry to Bellagio. We will stay here again next time for sure.

Best stay at a reasonable price! This is our second time staying here. We love the location, as it sits atop a wine bar. It is also close to some of the best food in Varenna. The host has always been nice, and he is easy to contact. We love this place and highly recommend it.

Cozy and Charming We loved our stay in Varrena. The apartment was very relaxing and peaceful. We slept soundly in the upstairs loft. Location excellent for exploring the beautiful town. Amazing This place is perfect! Right in the heart of Varenna and walking distance to everything. If you are in Italy, you already know that there are lots of stairs. This hotel has a great location. You can walk to the ferry in two minutes and the train station in five. Not so big restaurant in the small village of Vezio. But the waitress will accomodate you and you will be rapidly served good typical italian food. Italian prices, it means more than reasonable.

Small, but really nice restaurant, close to castello Veranna. The menu is versatile and the meal (ravioli filled with fish) as well as the dessert (sort of apple pie, freshly made, with vanilla ice cream) were delicious. The restaurant offers a wide range of wines (of course) but also surprisingly offers some local beers, we didn't know even existed.

Very friendly and warm service. Local people preference for get together on Saturday eve. The place was full and still no delay and they serve at once for everyone at the table. A beautiful and peaceful domain with friendly and helpful staff. We were helped multiple times by Giovanna and Stefano from the reception desk who were very kind. Varenna is a 16 minutes walk from the Agriturismo but the walk from Varenna is quite steep (goes up 120 meters,). Romantic Villa overlooking the lake shore, breathtaking view and spacious and well-kept garden. Owner and caretakers available and welcoming. Therefore, less than 5 minutes from the station, although the town does not have a supermarket, it is possible to reach Bellano in a few minutes by train which passes frequently. Antique but well-kept furniture that make your stay even more pleasant.
