Reviews
On negative side there is long list.
1 - Location - If you are coming from other country and don't have your own car, this is the worst choice of hotel to stay. Bus is not very frequent. Even if you get one you have to walk 700-800 Metre on a very poor road with luggage which is very dangerous at night as it is very isolated.
2 - Hotel Room and facilities - It was decent size room. However, they did not provide even basic things - No electric cattle was provided..no tea coffee. Staff said that we can ask for hot water whenever we need but no container was given. Every time you go to reception for hot water they will give a damn look at your face. It was so frustrating as if you are bagging after paying a huge price for room. I was not feeling well so I had to use hot water to drink. Imagine if you have a baby who needs hot water for milk and all.
Not to mention they did not provide tea and coffee kit inside room or even on demand.
3 - Staff - The most important aspect of any hotel or stay is the staff behaviour. As mentioned in other reviews, the staff is very rude and arrogant. While check-in the staff was acting as if they are very busy even if there are not many guest. They will not pay any attention. Just get the money and handover the key and forget it. all the staff baring 1 always had angry face..like the lady when I asked for hot water was like giving me a bad look...
Last thing, we booked the taxi for the airport from the reception. They charged a very high price of 75 Euro but we agreed as we did not want to take chance and miss the flight. It was agreed that we will pay by card and will not pay anything beyond 75 Euro. Man at the reception insisted to pay extra 5 E but after talking to taxi guy he agreed for 75 E.
Now next morning when we reached at the airport and started paying by card, driver asked 5 Euro extra. I mean what the hell...he said we have to pay 5 extra as we are paying by card....I thought these things not happens in Europe but trust me people are people...
I really doubt if the management reads these reviews or not..because based on so many bad revoews I would have fired the staff...such a worst stay.
No A/C on the rooms, and limited breakfast facilities.
When we arrived there it was unpleasant smell and the sink in batroom was dirty. On the squeezed soap in the shower was someone's short hair.
The hotel located too far from the city centre.
The sauna it was from 100 euros for two persons with advance booking.
The staff is friendly.
The restaurant is unpredictable with the cost and expectations fro dishes.
Rooms: mediocre, old , small
Toilets: mediocre -okay
Breakfast: mostly desserts, very less non sweet options but the cooks very very nice and friendly
Room service: good
Service: poor service from certain staff in the reception area .. hard to get any relevant information from them. Answer to everything is ‘I don’t know’ which to me comes across as just being ignorant.
The lady will switch between using Italian and English according to her convenience and if we express our dissatisfaction she will talk to rudely in Italian knowing very well we don’t understand it. On the other days the reception staff were good
Value for money:1/5
The location is nowhere near anything so if your goal is to travel to see rome I would suggest you pick an option closer to the centre even if it takes a couple of extra bucks as this hotel is priced more than the service it offers
Most of the staff were friendly only reception could learn to smile.....
Extremely good bed
Great to have a swimming pool, we had a good time
But when i book 4 breakfasts and i wake up at 8:30am to have them, i'm expecting to have more than cereals and coffee
Every morning: no pastries and i needed to ask for eggs. I hardly do not recommend the breakfast there, it seems to be a problem till years through the other comments but they definitely don't care
Also, the shuttle to go to the center of Roma is great but the last pick up is at 9:50pm, when you are in holidays, u don't go back at 9:30am
Finally, the night driver seemed to be very annoyed to pick up people, no hello, no goodbye
