Hotel Airone in Rimini

We stayed at the Airone Hotel on a half-board basis, which included free drinking water with meals. The rooms are a little dated, but most balconies offer either a side or front sea view, which was lovely. The hotel doesn’t have a swimming pool, and there is currently some promenade improvement work taking place opposite, but it didn’t affect our stay. Breakfast was varied, with eggs, toast, ham, croissants, cakes, yogurts, cereals, jams, biscuits, tea, coffee, and juices. Dinner was a four-course meal with choices made the day before, and wine was reasonably priced at €10 a bottle. There is also a bar at reception. On a rainy day, the hotel had plenty of umbrellas available, which was a nice touch. A taxi to the airport costs about €25, and there are convenient bus and tram stops nearby with tickets to Rimini station at just €1.50 each way. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt the hotel offered excellent value for money. It’s a very good budget option, especially if you plan to explore the area with day trips by train, bus, or coach.

I have no words to say what a great experience this hotel offered me! So nice to feel welcomed with honesty and served with great care and attention to detail. The whole hotel staff was so great and this is what you should know about this place - every one of them will go an extra mile to address your needs and more importantly, they do it because they are mastering the hospitality trade, which goes far beyond the hotel enterior by which we usually make our first impressions and judgement.
The interior of the hotel is transiting from the earlier decades to the contemporary style which I liked so much as it is soulful environment where you can sense the change over the time, not another blunt generically designed accommodation.
The rooms are modest in decoration but comfortable and and have everything to provide for a good sleep and rest. Cleaning is daily and yes, it means new towels each and every day. The balconies are spacious, much wider than majority of Rimini hotel standards, so you do not feel trapped in a hotel room.
The food is delicious! I was on HB and the dinner was beyond any expectation! Each evening you chose your combination of antipasti, 1st & 2nd course and desserts. Can't explain what quality they match, so if you are in a exceptional food standards, you will not search further. Airone kitchen will fit the bill for your entire stay. And, they do not repeat the meals, so every evening new fantastic experience :)
The hotel has a very nice, cosy and spacious street-open garden for morning coffee and awakening to the early city beats, while you can enjoy your last drink late in the night. This is also a rare hotel quality to find in the beachfront hotels alongside lungomare.
The beach is stone trow away and the beach 85 is highly recommended.
Easy access to the city center via bus or metromare is the great advantage.
As a pet friendly place, Airone will make your day as you can enjoy meeting new 4-leg friends sharing the garden with you.
All in all, Hotel Airone is a true representative of the Italian charm, style and easygoing - all you need for a good vacation.

The hotel is good, everything suited me except that the air conditioner worked a little poorly.

I stayed in this hotel on the seventh of August, excellent location, one minute walk from the sea. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was very clean, in our case the room had a splendid view of the sea. Breakfast was a buffet and there was both sweet and savory, the food was excellent. recommended!

Rooms are very good, but food is terrible and service is too slow.

Came from a tour to this hotel for 3 nights, rooms are small. 2 twins. Food was alright. Overall not bad experience. Had a great time!

I spent four days at the Airone hotel in July, with my elderly parents and my 11-year-old child. I had a great time. The structure is very close to the sea, the girl at the reception is of a unique kindness, the food excellent. I attended many three-star hotels in Rimini, but this is definitely my favorite. An honorable mention to the girl who takes care of the rooms on the third floor. On principle I try to keep my own tidy and clean, but after his passage everything was perfect, it was a pleasure to go back to the room. I hope to come back soon.
