We just returned from a lovely stay at the plaza hotel. Perfect location across from the station, handy for Salerno airport and ferries and boats for trips just a 5 min walk! Extremely friendly staff and lovely spacious room which was quiet despite being in the heart of the town. Air conditioning too. Definitely recommend and will return. No issues at all with our stay. x

I was on holiday for a few days but this hotel is superb the location is excellent, rooms clean modern and spacious. Good food and excellent coffee at breakfast. very good price-quality ratio. I will definitely be back.

This is a perfect small hotel in a central location... convenient to the train station, restaurants, ferry terminal and city center.
Wonderful front desk and breakfast staff make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Large selection of excellent quality breakfast options and coffees.
As others have noted, the rooms are a bit basic but the hotel is extremely clean, quiet and comfortable with very reasonable rates.
Highly recommend this well established hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Very good hotel. Directly opposite the train station and bus stop with busses to amalfi and salerno airport and a short walk from the ferries and a number fantastic restaurants. I had a balcony room which was great and also because it had 2 sets of doors it made the room very quiet from the noise outside.

This hotel was perfectly located, very close to the train station and the port. The staff members were SO friendly; very knowledgeable, approachable, and helpful! The breakfast was amazing, and kept us full for a long day trip to Pompeii. I would highly recommend this hotel!

It is ideally situated for buses, ferries and the Lubgomare. Despite being on the square facing the train station, the hotel was quiet. The room was spacious, bathroom well-designed. We didn't need the air-conditioning. We appreciated how well the room was cleaned every day.
The staff were friendly, polite and very quick to help with any needs or difficulties.
Breakfast was buffet style a very wide choice of sweet and savoury things, and good coffee. The staff were attentive.

Very convenient location for trains, buses (inter city and local), ferries, shopping centre, Lunga di Mare, everything! And, because of excellent double-glazing, quiet too!

Stone's throw distance to the Salerno Train Station. Surrounded by restaurants and any other tourist needs. Also, just 5-10 minutes walk to ferry port.
Customer service was good. Rooms were spacious and clean.

Across from the train station, which makes it incredibly convenient. The neighborhood is very safe. The city is very safe. Hotel is in the center of everything, located along the main shopping/pedestrian areas. The staff is excellent: very friendly and accommodating, with a solid breakfast. There’s some nice touches, like the little library and reading table in the lobby. A bit of a throwback feel to the lobby, in a very good way. The hotel is totally up-to-date with free Wi-Fi, etc. Will definitely stay here again.
