Staff were nice. However, the hotel promotes having wifi to all rooms. This is not correct, and when I asked about the problem I was experiencing, I was advised that there would not be anything done to make it available. Clearly, they are aware of the problem. Many others in my tour group experienced the same problem.

A bit dated. Rooms do have wifi unlike other reviews I have read. The staff is extremely helpful. The a/c ran the whole time and the room was never cold. Breakfast was quite basic with nothing but sweets, under-ripe fruit and machine-prepared coffee. There were some boiled eggs but that was the only protein. This is an ok hotel. It was clean with hot water but low water pressure. Ac works well. Needs an upgrade. Beach across the street and a grocer nearby. The bar in the lobby is nice and the daily breakfast was good.

The view of the balcony of the room was amazing. The bathroom was clean, and the room was big. Breakfast was fine. But in the room the air conditioning was not functioning well, the bed was not soft and pillows not good as well. The lights were not working in our room as well.

I really enjoyed my time at Novotel Salerno Est Arechi. First, the check-in was so smooth and fast. The ladies and gentlemen at the reception desk were always so helpful and friendly. Good location with sea view. There is a good shop nearby in 5 minutes. Good service, any issues that arise are resolved quickly. The rooms are clean. Convenient underground free parking, from the parking you can easily go up to your floor.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights as a family for the weekend, it was close to the sea, the rooms were cleaned every day, good service and abundant breakfast. The city tax seemed a bit high for the place we were and the noise of passing cars could be heard all the time.

The very old matrace, it really hurt to sleep, you could feel every individual spring. we asked for an exchange and got a plaid on it, then it was better. Elegant hotel with access to a beach though it is difficult to get to the beach. Difficult ultimate to get around in the hotel also.

Lloyds was wonderful. Such accomodating friendly staff the food was good quality and we stayed in one night and had the seafood pasta OMG amazing... will definitely stay there again and definitely recommend it. Close by to the Famous Vietri Ceramic hand made markets its over looking a fabulous view and harbour.

Great accommodations, beautiful balcony with ocean view. The pool was very clean and a little chilly but it did feel good on the hot relaxing days. It would have been nice if they had some preset tours for the guests but the staff was very helpful in finding things to do and getting transportation. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Beautiful hotel in Vietri with a 20 min walk along busy road to town. Staff here are very helpful and made the stay wonderful. The train station is just up the steps from cafe fame and is cheap and cool. The sister Hotel up the hill has a lovely spa and restaurant

Fabulous location with views over Vietri sul Mare, town and beach. The staff are welcoming and the service they give is outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is boutique with just 22 rooms. On the top floor a beautiful garden and pool provides a lovely spot to sunbathe and relax. Very happy stay.

Great place and location as long as you don't mind stairs down to the old town. Rooms are big and fantastic views of the harbour thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

What a beautiful hotel! We spent a great week here, it's far from everything which is both a blessing and a curse. Big rooms and a great pool. Breakfast was too expensive so we decided to opted out of that experience.

3 stars is the max I can give to this place. Sure, nice view and nice marble in the inside. But the room we got was outdated, the restaurant was never available to guests as there was always an event, the pool is just a tiny thing, very often dirty and cold. Personnel was actually the worst thing about the staying. Rude and annoyed to death. The WiFi in the rooms won't work, forget it.

Excellent cost-benefit ratio. Very comfortable room with a furnished balcony and a huge TV. The toilet is really charming and features a box of toiletries. The shower is in a separate cabin with massage function. Highly recommended any time of the year.

Unfortunately the breakfast can be called that just as a joke. Although the room had air conditioning, it's very outdated and slow to cool the room and it's rather very loud. Service is as great as possible given that most of the staff can't really speak any English. The hotel is fabulous, private beach for a morning swim, very close to the port to catch all the ferries to famous destinations. Great view at the restaurant, staff are polite and helpful. One thing I dislike is that there are lots of group tourists staying at the hotel, I can understand different cultures have different ways to express themselves, however, I believe there should be separate zones...

Our room was clean. There was only a tub with "sit down" shower option. We made it work, but it was not ideal. Our friends had rooms with amazing views overlooking the sea. Our room was on the side and had a direct view of the air conditioning unit and some wiring (a huge letdown for us). Nice hotel with an amazing view of the sea. Rooms are literally on the sea! It is well curated, but a little bit old in some common areas. In the summer period, remember to keep your room windows open because there are a lot of mosquitoes. Breakfast is fine and the terrace is really wonderful.

The price was honest but I didn't sleep well as it was a fake double bed because they out two singles together. They renovated our floor but the entrance to the hotel was still old school. Covid wise I told the receptionist I wouldn't give him my card as he was sniffing and touching his nose and he said it was allergies. Room was straight out of the 70's. When we went to front desk and asked for a different room they said it would be 35 more Euros for a room with a balcony. I didn't mind because the 2nd room was awesome! The main issue was that they had a wedding the evening we stayed and it was rocking. By that I mean loud music, drunken people yelling up and down the stairs, even kids running down the halls at 1am...

We just returned from a lovely stay at the plaza hotel. Perfect location across from the station, handy for Salerno airport and ferries and boats for trips just a 5 min walk! Very good hotel. Directly opposite the train station and bus stop with busses to amalfi and salerno airport and a short walk from the ferries and a number fantastic restaurants. I had a balcony room which was great and also because it had 2 sets of doors it made the room very quiet from the noise outside.

This hotel was perfectly located, very close to the train station and the port. The staff members were SO friendly; very knowledgeable, approachable, and helpful! The breakfast was amazing, and kept us full for a long day trip to Pompeii. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Owner very kind and helpful, nice and quiet place for a mother and a minor daughter who do not have many pretensions other than the safety and accessibility to the nightlife and the sea without having to go too far or walk through narrow streets. Reception was clarified via WhatsApp and you should report 15 minutes before arrival. Everything went well. Had the double room with balcony. The breakfast was nothing. Weird juice and paper rolls. But you can't expect more. The room was decent for the price and well renovated. Unfortunately there is a disgusting smell coming from the drains that doesn't go away. The bed is a maximum of 1.80 long....

At night it is quiet despite being in the central area In the room there is a coffee machine, very convenient if you move early in the morning, and a bottle of water in the fridge which is always welcome as soon as you arrive from the trip.
