Beautiful ocean view from the room terrace! The room was spacious and clean. The sound of the waves was relaxing at night. It is walking distance to the marina where we took the ferry going to Amalfi. Very convenient place to stay when visiting Amalfi.
Great Stay at Grand Hotel Salerno I recently stayed at Grand Hotel Salerno and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, and I especially want to highlight the housekeeping team, who were exceptionally polite and attentive — truly outstanding service. Breakfast The breakfast was good and enjoyable, but it could have been a bit more varied and refined, especially...
We came here especially for the spa/pool that is advertised on several booking sites, but there is no such a thing. The rooms are spacious, if a little outdated. The area is also quite run-down: to get to the bus stop, you need to pass by skaters that seem to be drugged, cross a road on a crosswalk that is ignored by the motorists, and go through a long dark tunnel under the railroad and then up a...
It's a 10-minute walk from the train station. The room is quite big, the balcony has a sea view, and it's also close to the city. The breakfast is OK. For Italy, this hotel has a very good environment.
Very nice location. Staff beyond helpful. Rooms very clean, just needs little updating.
Very close to travelmar ferry, you can walk. Otherwise not much around. Older hotel but very big room, 3 beds, two twin one king
Close to train station and port area and was very convenient. Front office staff were very friendly. I Room was very comfortable, had a beautiful view.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Lloyd's Baia Hotel in Salerno. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and eager to help with anything I needed. The hotel itself is beautifully located on a cliff overlooking the sea, offering breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast that I will never forget. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with a balcony...
Friendly reception and lovely continental breakfast. Yes there is a big port to the left side and it can be noisy and there is a night club but when the windows and doors were closed the noise was fine, had no trouble sleeping and we were right above it. There was construction around the hotel taking place which didn’t seem very professional.. They also advertise a pool, gym and a spa however these...
I stayed at the hotel from 26 April through May 3 2025 as part of a small tour group. Our tour host set up the hotel and did most of the coordinating with them. Having said that, I did have need to interact with the staff, and I found most to be helpful and communicative. Vietri is a short, safe walk from the hotel - I felt very safe both at the hotel and surrounding area. The room was a bit disappointing...
We stayed for one night in the junior suite with a hot tub and sauna. While the room itself was decent, we were unable to use the sauna properly as it only worked for 3–4 minutes before shutting off. When we poured water into the sauna container, it leaked from the bottom, flooding the bathroom. We had to use most of the towels to clean up the mess. The staff seemed to have little knowledge of the...
We had a superior room in the new/renovated part of the hotel. Before booking we were made aware of the nearby party location by the receptionist, which we could hear through closed windows but did not represent a major disturbance. When we arrived, the personnel was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has free parking and our room was in a very luxurious condition. The hotel offers a panoramic view...

The rooms were good but the breakfast was below average from other Novotel chains or even other 3-star hotels. Also the location is far from Salerno city and if you don’t have your own vehicle this hotel is not for you.
Confusing experience for family visit Someone called the room in the middle of the night for a few times so I am still confused as I was feeling it is a bit too much to answer the hotel phone after the midnight. Location - don’t be sidetracked even located 100 meters from the beach but it is next to military facilities and industrial precinct so no luck to enjoy the beach! 30 min drive from historical...
The staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful. I stayed for the access to the hospital nearby, and each member of the team I interacted with through the trip was excellent. Beautiful location and nice amenities also
Great stay at Novotel Salerno! Very clean hotel with a delicious breakfast and perfect location near the sea. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful — we had a small issue with the window, and the maintenance technician fixed it immediately. Only minor downsides: cleaning is between 12–1 PM and the pool is a bit small. Highly recommended!
Amazing experience and very nice staff member. The pool is a plus.
Great hotel, staff friendly apart from one rude waiter in the bar and restaurant.

After car rental problems in Salerno, we extended our stay at Hotel Raito from 4 to 6 nights, which allowed us to get a good feel for the hotel. The location is ideal; close to smaller towns and Salerno, yet far enough away to allow for peace and quiet along with spectacular views of the waterline below. The service was exceptional. Sharon at reception, was particularly helpful. She provided great...
The hotel was amazing in every way. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The shuttle service was safe, fast and fun with Ernesto! The rooms were clean and large with beautiful balconies. But what really made our stay perfect was Carmelo! He is the best host in Italy!!!
From the moment we arrived at Hotel Raito, we felt like we were stepping into a dream. The views, the atmosphere, the vibe - everything was pure magic. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the kindness and care we received from the wonderful team, especially Carmelo, the Guest Experience Manager. Carmelo was an absolute gem - so thoughtful, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. He made us feel...
The rooms were clean and well kept. I did have a problem with the small shower. The cleaning people were wonderful very attentive very helpful. The beds were not the most comfortable I’ve had better at other hotels. The location was a bit off the beaten path. It would’ve been nice to have some kind of store to buy snacks Or small souvenirs. The restaurant food at the morning buffet was always the same...
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Raito for 14 nights early September and what a special holiday it was! ALL members of staff are incredible and will go above and beyond the call of duty to assist you and make sure you have the best experience. I would say that my stay was phenomenal, the location, hotel, my room, including the staff were all 5 stars, the morning breakfast buffet including dinner was just amazing, like a fine dine experience every-time. If you are debating on staying anywhere else, choose Realis Paradiso Amalfi, you’ll be delighted. Cant wait to stay here again
The staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly. Rooms comfortable, clean and have a nice view.
Lovely hotel. Stunning views over the Amalfi coast. Helpful friendly staff. Great location for visiting Pompeii, Paestum, Herculaneum and Naples. Short walk to local town - but no pavements!
Beautiful property in the hills, to far away from Salerno. Hard to get a taxi.
Very friendly and helpful staff , nothing was too much trouble . Super views from the balcony where breakfast was served . Room was perfect , had a comfortable bed and great shower . A convenient hotel if you're traveling by car. The photos on Booking.com give the impression that there’s a pool, but it actually belongs to the beach club across the street. I initially felt disappointed and considered asking for a refund, but the receptionist was so welcoming that it really changed my mood. The room was nice, but it lacked an iron, and when I asked at reception, they said the hotel...
Unfortunately didn’t have my best time there. There is no handle on the balcony door. And it means when you slide the door it gets closed and locks itself . Me and my friends got locked in the balcony for one and half hour and didn’t have our phones with us . We shout for help for an hour. It was a very stressful situation that could have been avoided with a simple handle on the door. Except that...
There is no kettle in the room and nowhere to get warm water in the morning until breakfast has started
Structure maybe a few years old but always excellent and kept in excellent condition. Comfortable room with only a couple of small defects: very small shower and room temperature that I was unable to reduce in any way... Excellent breakfast with lots of sweet pastries and also with savory rustici. Parking maybe a little narrow but I had no difficulty parking Overall very pleasant experience.
I had a great stay. Carlo and the other staff made my stay memorable. From the time I checked in and the time I checked out, it was great. The people who worked at the front desk were nice. I spoke to Carlo most of the time. He was really helpful. Gave directions to places I needed to go to. The breakfast buffet had a lot of traditional Italian pastries. They had American-ish breakfast like scrambled...
The hotel's location was convenient with a nearby beach and easy access to public transportation like the train station and bus stop. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the lack of vegetarian breakfast options, beyond bread variations, was disappointing. The room itself was good-sized with a balcony. Overall, the hotel was average and suitable for budget travellers seeking affordable accommodations
The very old matrace, it really hurt to sleep, you could feel every individual spring. we asked for an exchange and got a plaid on it, then it was better. The room needs to be painted, no pictures, no nice details to make the room cozy. Three hangers in the closet (all different, looked like left overs from other guests). The room was rather small, and the shower was poorly designed; the bathroom floor was soaked after showering. Breakfast was decent, and the view from the top floor was excellent. For the price in Rome, it's relatively good value. Public transportation is readily available.
The room was clean, but no water was provided.
The location in Salerno is good It's in the main city There's a large mart 10 minutes away and the station is close The facilities were good except for the fact that the shower was sunflower The breakfast was clean and good It was a shame that there was no milk or ice The female staff at the front desk was also kind It was nice that they left my luggage after check-out
The location is great, close to the train station and ferry terminal. The front desk lady on the night of check-in was very helpful and promptly changed rooms after we had a problem with the plumbing in the bathroom. They even prepared a breakfast box for us on the morning of our departure. It's a great hotel.
The room is clean and big enough for storing our three suitcases. Breakfast is great especially loved coffee.
Hotel in a nice place, close to the train station. Hotel staff helpful. Rooms ok - nothing tragic or crazy. In the rooms themselves there is a fridge with a bottle of water (0.5l) and a small juice (~0.200 ml) - these are paid drinks, but no one told us about it. We also did not find any price list. Breakfasts very poor - dry, cold scrambled eggs (if you can call them scrambled eggs), cold sausages...

What a fantastic hotel. We chose Salerno as a base for a few days on the Amalfi coast because it looked like you got a better quality of hotel for your money than some of the hotels in the other towns along that coast. We weren't wrong. We'd requested a sea-view room and were pleasantly surprised when we got given the Suite Deluxe - a huge room with a balcony area overlooking the sea. Room was enormous...
This is a great place for a simple, clean room at a reasonable price. The sea view is stunning. The decor is traditional, not contemporary, with lots of colorful tiles. Despite somewhat dated decor, this is the sort of place that would be perfect for families who are more interested in good value than hip design. The hotel is right on the sea, and beach access is a very short walk down the coast (...
Fantastic location: All rooms have balconies directly over the sea (no stret in between) with amazing views of the very scenic Amalfi coast. Staff at reception is exceptionally friendly and efficient in solving all problems (e.g. finding me a taxi when I got lost in old town late in the night ). Rich choice of hot and cold dishes for breakfast and unlimited coffee of your choice (e.g. espresso followed...
Very helpful staff, loved them setting us up at the private beach by the hotel as well, right by the ocean in the first row!
We extend our sincere thanks to your staff for making us feel at home from the very first moment. Your hotel deserves top marks for its visual appeal, warmth, and friendly service, as well as its delicious food. I hope our paths cross again. ❤️ It was truly a nice stay, and we will certainly recommend your hotel to our friends and family.

Just right next to the train station and very close to the promenade. Clean and nice room with all the amenities and breakfast included. Highly recommend.
The location was perfect. I could reach any touristic attractions quickly and hardly used any taxi services. The area is full of restaurants, small cafes. The hotel is close to the sea and the ferries' terminal.
The hotel exceeded expectations and was very convenient. It is visible right after exiting the train station, about 100 meters away. It is located at the starting point of the pedestrian street and is the best-looking building within sight. The room is quite spacious for 3 people and 3 large suitcases can be fully opened. There are many places to eat around and there is also a snack bar run by Chinese...
The room makes efficient use of space, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of options. The location is extremely convenient, right across from the train station and also very close to the ferry port.
Perfect hotel. Clean, simple and local to all transportation but still quiet enough to sleep well. The staff was extremely accommodating and kind!
A highly recommended hotel, the room is of a good size, and there is a balcony. You can see the beautiful scenery when you open the window. It can be said that this is the most cost-effective hotel I booked this time in Italy! It is a three-minute walk to the station and a five-minute walk to the beach.

3 stars is the max I can give to this place. Sure, nice view and nice marble in the inside. But the room we got was outdated, the restaurant was never available to guests as there was always an event, the pool is just a tiny thing, very often dirty and cold. Personnel was actually the worst thing about the staying. Rude and annoyed to death. The WiFi in the rooms won't work, forget it.
Very beautiful restorant and friendly people, easy to park and the wieuv to the sea side it's fabulous the same for the food
Great views...location is at least 10 min drive to the old town centre, bed and pillows are ancient, WiFi very poor and customer service was average at best
Professionale service and great and exclusive courses
Clean and amazing view sea side. Many others are in town. Highly recommended.
Excellent cost-benefit ratio. Very comfortable room with a furnished balcony and a huge TV. The toilet is really charming and features a box of toiletries. The shower is in a separate cabin with massage function. Highly recommended any time of the year.

Amazing View and an excellent lunch
The price was honest but I didn't sleep well as it was a fake double bed because they out two singles together. They renovated our floor but the entrance to the hotel was still old school. Covid wise I told the receptionist I wouldn't give him my card as he was sniffing and touching his nose and he said it was allergies. The pool on the top floor is nice/medium sized and you can see lemon trees
The hotel is not modern, but it is very cozy. Room clean, bathroom small. Breakfast is just cake and pastries. Restaurant is great for dinner.
Room was straight out of the 70's. When we went to front desk and asked for a different room they said it would be 35 more Euros for a room with a balcony. I didn't mind because the 2nd room was awesome! The main issue was that they had a wedding the evening we stayed and it was rocking. By that I mean loud music, drunken people yelling up and down the stairs, even kids running down the halls at 1am...

It's super cute to stay in but there's not much around the area to see, its in the middle of no where and transportation is hard if you dont have a car (tourist). Some of the staff were very unhelpful and not attentive to us while we were there. However the rooms were clean, the balcony and views were nice!
Location easy to find and wonderful view over the sea. Our room had a really good balcony with furniture. Food was good.
No pool and no good room service
Very little around the property and requires either a long walk or a taxi/own car to get around. The rooms are very basic and dated!
Convenient for us at the time as it is close to the Marina. Also. Lose to bus stop to town. However its right on the beach and they want 15€ per person just to go for a swim !! Rooms have no fridge.

Unfortunately the breakfast can be called that just as a joke. Although the room had air conditioning, it's very outdated and slow to cool the room and it's rather very loud.
