Elegant hotel with access to a beach though it is difficult to get to the beach. Difficult ultimate to get around in the hotel also.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Lloyd's Baia Hotel in Salerno. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and eager to help with anything I needed

Breakfast was another highlight – a rich selection of fresh fruits, pastries, local cheeses, and more, all served in a lovely dining area with panoramic views of the coastline

The hotel itself is beautifully located on a cliff overlooking the sea, offering breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast that I will never forget

The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with a balcony that allowed me to enjoy the stunning sunsets every evening

The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, and every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. It truly added to the overall experience and made our evenings special

Structure maybe a few years old but always excellent and kept in excellent condition. Comfortable room with only a couple of small defects: very small shower and room temperature that I was unable to reduce in any way

The staff were all so helpful and welcoming. I looked forward to waking up early every morning to eat breakfast and take my time. The room was clean and spacious. I liked the balcony which overlooks the beach

A convenient hotel if you're traveling by car. com give the impression that there’s a pool, but it actually belongs to the beach club across the street

The room needs to be painted, no pictures, no nice details to make the room cozy. Three hangers in the closet (all different, looked like left overs from other guests). Breakfast was also very poor, unfriendly staff

Carlo and the other staff made my stay memorable. From the time I checked in and the time I checked out, it was great. The people who worked at the front desk were nice. I spoke to Carlo most of the time

Breakfast had an extra charge of €10, so I skipped it, but I went down for a coffee and, despite being busy, the staff was very quick and friendly in preparing two coffees for me

Very helpful staff, loved them setting us up at the private beach by the hotel as well, right by the ocean in the first row!

We chose Salerno as a base for a few days on the Amalfi coast because it looked like you got a better quality of hotel for your money than some of the hotels in the other towns along that coast

Salerno feels like more of a 'seaside' town - it appeared that the season was coming to an end by mid-October and a number of restaurants had shut for the winter - however there were still plenty of bars and restaurants open

You have to try Pepe Nero - the restaurant that is next door to the hotel - fantastic food and loads of choice. Our taxi driver recommended it when he dropped us off and we ate there twice in three days

The hotel is about 5 mins taxi away from the ferry port/train station - but most of the time we chose to walk there. Took around 30 mins and is a nice stroll along the sea front

We got the ferry to Amalfi one day and we bought tickets via the FerryHopper app and had no issues. Ferry took about 25 minutes to get to Amalfi (although there are some that take longer)

A lovely hotel well situated between the beach and the town. We ate in the restaurant twice and the food was home cooked and delicious. Breakfast on the terrace was a delightful way to start the day

The restaurant food was delicious and we sat out on the balcony to eat which was stunning! The hotel is away from the main town but there are steps right across you can take that is a quick way to get up to the main town(ALOT of steps so maybe not suitable for anyone who struggles)

Vietri is not that full of tourists compared e. to Amalfi, but pricewise much , much better. In addition it is easy and cheap to get to Amalfi and other cities by boat

Amazing location directly on the water. Parking was easy, and distance from shops and restaurants was convenient. Overall would recommend.

What an experience! Lovely hotel with splendid views, comfortable beds and friendly staff. The hotel has also a restaurant, but there are lot of other restaurants in 5-10 minutes walking distance

You can walk to the town of Cetara to eat, or hop on the ferry to anywhere else in Amalfi. There is a beautiful private beach and the staff was extremely accommodating

Beautiful property! The staff were friendly and helpful with inquiries. The breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of hot food, meat and cheese, pastries, bread and rolls

They say that the beach is closed to service but we can go down and use chairs and towels. We go down there and there are no towels and we had to set up the lounge chairs ourself

We were there a couple of weeks ago and everything was just amazing. Location is amazing, between cozy Cetara and beautiful Vietri sul Mare, good restaurants in both. Hotel is super cute with great views

The structure is everything we wanted for an ideal holiday: beautiful and spotless rooms, quiet swimming pool, equipped and functional beach, restaurant facing the sea where you can eat local delicacies and where you would stay hours (and we did!) A lot the atmosphere is nice

The atmosphere in this place is extraordinary, from the breathtaking place to the enveloping attentions of the managers and staff who have literally won us over with their simple, genuine, affectionate manners

Me and my girlfriend had such a wonderful time and amazing service from the hosts. Great food every night, decent price and a wonderful view of the ocean made it a wonderful vacation for the both of us

Nice room and a lovely pool and beach area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we missed was a balcony. The location is also a bit off from the city, and the buses don’t pass by very often.

We were provided an umbrella and reclining sun beds at no extra charge. Location is convenient to Amalfi Coast and Paestum. Many restaurants along the beach which are competitively priced, most with sea views

Location - don’t be sidetracked even located 100 meters from the beach but it is next to military facilities and industrial precinct so no luck to enjoy the beach! 30 min drive from historical Salerno which was very disappointing for us, train every 30 min, no service after 10 pm! Breakfast was average, variety of hot food, serials and fruits

The rooms were good but the breakfast was below average from other Novotel chains or even other 3-star hotels. Also the location is far from Salerno city and if you don’t have your own vehicle this hotel is not for you.

The hotel has convenient parking, delicious breakfast, and quick response from the staff. There are many Asian guests staying in the hotel. As soon as you enter, you really feel like you are in a hotel in China, haha.

Confusing experience for family visit Someone called the room in the middle of the night for a few times so I am still confused as I was feeling it is a bit too much to answer the hotel phone after the midnight

The staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful. I stayed for the access to the hospital nearby, and each member of the team I interacted with through the trip was excellent. Beautiful location and nice amenities also

Very comfortable room with a furnished balcony and a huge TV. The toilet is really charming and features a box of toiletries. The shower is in a separate cabin with massage function

Covid wise I told the receptionist I wouldn't give him my card as he was sniffing and touching his nose and he said it was allergies. The pool on the top floor is nice/medium sized and you can see lemon trees

By that I mean loud music, drunken people yelling up and down the stairs, even kids running down the halls at 1am. If they would have told us they had a wedding going on we would have stayed someplace else

The price was honest but I didn't sleep well as it was a fake double bed because they out two singles together. They renovated our floor but the entrance to the hotel was still old school

With 2 kids trying to sleep and a train to Rome the next day there was pretty much no sleep. Breakfast was pastries,cakes and coffee. No meats cheeses or hard boiled eggs

Room was straight out of the 70's. When we went to front desk and asked for a different room they said it would be 35 more Euros for a room with a balcony

The hotel is built in a "U" shape - balcony for the rooms are on the inside of the "U". Each room gets a view of the beach which is right at the edge of the property

It's super cute to stay in but there's not much around the area to see, its in the middle of no where and transportation is hard if you dont have a car (tourist)

Convenient for us at the time as it is close to the Marina. Also. Lose to bus stop to town. However its right on the beach and they want 15€ per person just to go for a swim !! Rooms have no fridge.

Some of the staff were very unhelpful and not attentive to us while we were there. However the rooms were clean, the balcony and views were nice!

The Saint Joseph Resort is a chill 3-star hotel on the beach in Salerno. It's got a/c rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and a pool. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay

Nice hotel near beaches of Salerno. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Good position with bus stops and metro station in few hundred meters, we left the car in hotel's garage and went to center by train

Service is as great as possible given that most of the staff can't really speak any English. The location is kind of far from any tourist attraction, but that is what comes with the so called cheap price

Giuliana arranged for us to be met at the station and driven the two kilometers or so to her place; provided a spacious, well-appointed room with ensuite bath and delicious, varied breakfasts respecting my need to eat gluten free; advised us very thoughtfully on how to spend our time in and around Salerno -- she was an ideal hostess

Juliana,the owner, is one of the kindest person I have ever seen. She solved a REALLY big problem for me in less than two minutes. The place is adorable and really comfortable. Good experience. I really recomend it.

Yarina is one of the nicest persons I've ever met while travelling, she was always available to give advice, provide help or have a nice chat in the morning. The room and the bathroom are huge, and really clean

There are lots of sunlight but windows can be shut to sleep in the dark. Also the room came with lots of stuff I didn't expect such as a minifridge, an electric kettle and even slippers!

The location makes it super easy to reach either the train or boats to Amalfi coast, and is full of night life and restaurants. Breakfast was truly amazing, huge variety and great taste

He spent hours with us (a family of 10 from all over the world!) patiently helping us plan our stay and all his suggestions of where to go and which local places to eat were fantastic! There could not have been a better place to stay

It is very centrally located and yes it is situated in a narrow lane with many restaurants, shops and bars but that is the main charm of the place

Our room was small, but the main value of staying here is its central location to be able to go out and about

A couple blocks from the train station, across the street from the ferry, and adjacent to a nice walk in the shade along the shoreline with quality restaurants. Stay here if you plan on visiting Salerno!

Plenty of parking available around even though very very expensive. I suggest you ask for parking from the staff in the cafe. They have a private parking available at a more reasonable price

This information was not communicated ahead of time so I found out after I parked in the expensive lot adjacent to the establishment. The problem here is that it rates itself as a 4-star

The beach does not belong to the hotel - but the municipal - however cleaning it up would do a lot. Besides this it's perfect.

The owner of the property was very helpful and gave us some recommendations about dinner. The place is literally on the beach which is quite nice. The overall decorations of the place were nautically themed which I liked

Some things like the minibar and a closet are a bit dated, however that didn't bother us, in some way it gave us a cozy home like feeling which made it okay

Our flight time got changed and meant we didn’t get there until after check in closed, the team organised someone to wait and meet us outside which was a nice touch, we did have to pay extra for this though

For breakfast and dinner you have to get off the premises and walk a few meters down the road to reach the place where breakfast is decent, while dinner is plentiful and of excellent quality

In addition to this we slept well and it is very characteristic, but more than a hotel I would define it as a B & b. Receptionist available to meet any need, not very organized

In the room where I stayed there was no light in the shower and the toilet flush button moved and therefore the box was often opened to fix it and center it well
