Where to stay in Salerno

It's a 10-minute walk from the train station. The room is quite big, the balcony has a sea view, and it's also close to the city. The breakfast is OK. For Italy, this hotel has a very good environment.

Staff were nice. However, the hotel promotes having wifi to all rooms. This is not correct, and when I asked about the problem I was experiencing, I was advised that there would not be anything done to make it available. Clearly, they are aware of the problem. Many others in my tour group experienced the same problem.

Opposite the sea, close to the train station. Recommended hotel. The downside is that there are tour groups every day and there are many people. Overall it is a good hotel and the price is also acceptable.

We stayed for one night in the junior suite with a hot tub and sauna. While the room itself was decent, we were unable to use the sauna properly as it only worked for 3–4 minutes before shutting off. Before booking we were made aware of the nearby party location by the receptionist, which we could hear through closed windows but did not represent a major disturbance. Elegant hotel with access to a beach though it is difficult to get to the beach. Difficult ultimate to get around in the hotel also.

Lloyds was wonderful. Such accomodating friendly staff the food was good quality and we stayed in one night and had the seafood pasta OMG amazing... will definitely stay there again and definitely recommend it. Close by to the Famous Vietri Ceramic hand made markets its over looking a fabulous view and harbour.

Great place and location as long as you don't mind stairs down to the old town. Rooms are big and fantastic views of the harbour thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

What a beautiful hotel! We spent a great week here, it's far from everything which is both a blessing and a curse. Big rooms and a great pool. Breakfast was too expensive so we decided to opted out of that experience.

The hotel has different structures, so by booking with more people it is possible that you will be assigned rooms in different structures. For breakfast and dinner you have to get off the premises and walk a few meters down the road to reach the place where breakfast is decent, while dinner is plentiful and of excellent quality. Great accommodations, beautiful balcony with ocean view. The pool was very clean and a little chilly but it did feel good on the hot relaxing days. It would have been nice if they had some preset tours for the guests but the staff was very helpful in finding things to do and getting transportation. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

When we first entered the hotel, they first asked for money saying that children are paid, then we opened trip.com and showed them and convinced them that we paid in full. It was hard to convince them. The pool was closed, I had chosen the hotel especially for this feature, but they did not allow it even though the pool was ready and said that we had to wait for the next day!!! Not in the center of Salerno, quite remote. The room is small and clean. Free parking. A few minutes drive to the commercial street, where there is a pizza shop with relatively cheap prices. Many people stay in the group. Good value for money

The hotel is fabulous, private beach for a morning swim, very close to the port to catch all the ferries to famous destinations. Great view at the restaurant, staff are polite and helpful. One thing I dislike is that there are lots of group tourists staying at the hotel, I can understand different cultures have different ways to express themselves, however, I believe there should be separate zones...

Nice hotel with an amazing view of the sea. Rooms are literally on the sea! It is well curated, but a little bit old in some common areas. In the summer period, remember to keep your room windows open because there are a lot of mosquitoes. Breakfast is fine and the terrace is really wonderful.

3 stars is the max I can give to this place. Sure, nice view and nice marble in the inside. But the room we got was outdated, the restaurant was never available to guests as there was always an event, the pool is just a tiny thing, very often dirty and cold. Personnel was actually the worst thing about the staying. Rude and annoyed to death. The WiFi in the rooms won't work, forget it.

We just returned from a lovely stay at the plaza hotel. Perfect location across from the station, handy for Salerno airport and ferries and boats for trips just a 5 min walk! Very good hotel. Directly opposite the train station and bus stop with busses to amalfi and salerno airport and a short walk from the ferries and a number fantastic restaurants. I had a balcony room which was great and also because it had 2 sets of doors it made the room very quiet from the noise outside.

Amazing View and an excellent lunch

The price was honest but I didn't sleep well as it was a fake double bed because they out two singles together. They renovated our floor but the entrance to the hotel was still old school. Covid wise I told the receptionist I wouldn't give him my card as he was sniffing and touching his nose and he said it was allergies. Room was straight out of the 70's. When we went to front desk and asked for a different room they said it would be 35 more Euros for a room with a balcony.
