Hotel Onda Marina

Great location and nice enough hotel. Modern and very clean, the breakfast is good and the staff seem lovely, however the rooms have no soundproofing at all. You can literally hear everything including people brushing their teeth and going to the toilet so no privacy. Take your ear plugs for sleeping. The noisiest hotel I have ever been in.

The hotel is located in close proximity to the coast, directly at the beautiful La Cinta beach, which offers an excellent location for families with children. The beach itself is a true gem, stretching over four kilometers with fine white sand and crystal-clear water that turns a stunning emerald green the further you go into the sea. The water is relatively shallow, making it ideal for children to play and swim safely.

The hotel has the typical charm of the 90s and provides adequate comfort for a pleasant stay. The rooms are acceptable and reasonably priced, but one should not expect excessive luxury. Our room had a renovated shower, which made the stay more enjoyable. However, we encountered some issues with the housekeeping service, as the bed linens were not changed as promised on the third day. This is an area where the hotel could improve. The reception staff, especially the ladies, were excellent and made every effort to sweeten our stay as much as possible.

The breakfast buffet is typically Italian and offers a fairly wide selection of products that cater to various tastes. It was a good way to start the day, although the quality varied in some areas. On the other hand, the 24-hour hotel bar has room for improvement. The bartender was often also the receptionist, which meant that not all cocktails could be prepared. This can be disappointing after a lovely dinner and a cozy walk, especially if you want to end the evening with a drink at one of the outdoor tables.

Overall, the hotel offers a good price-to-value ratio and is particularly recommended for those looking for a quiet vacation in a picturesque location close to the beach. There is also ample parking, which is very convenient, and just 20 meters away, there is an Enel charging station for electric vehicles, making the stay more environmentally friendly. The village center is located 10min walking away and offers a wide selection of restaurants and bars, providing plenty of variety.
