Pluses: friendly staff of the hotel: general manager and his assistants are helpful. Room in old style of 19 century for those who likes this style, everything is working there, looks like in the pictures.
Minuses:
Nonrefundable amount for the 2nd week of my cancelled stay in the hotel.
Noisy street under the window, a lot of cars, bikes and emergencies with sirens are passing by all the time. Breakfast is for extra payment, vegetables are missing, cheese was not good, yoghurt was not tasty.
Sanremo city itself is very disappointing. Streets and sea promenade are very dirty, stinky and overcrowded, sea is green, polluted, swimming caused allergies on my skin. The air in the city is extremely polluted as well: a lot of bikes and cars, very stressful. Food in the restaurants is not tasty, average, in some of them it is impossible to eat at all.
I don't recommend to visit Sanremo to anyone, because it is waste of money, spoiled vacation, for a crazy big price.

This hotel is perfect for a couple of nights, it’s not a 5 star but it doesn’t claim to be, it’s quirky, beds were comfortable and the lady at the desk was fantastic. We were there for 1 night stopping off on our way down to Spain.

If you are looking for a family owned Hotel with perfect location between the Beach and Shopping, this is the one. Very friendly owners who look after you and help you with everything. The Atmosphere in the hotel goes very well with the name Epoque.

This hotel is so nice! The location is perfect. The Owners is very kind, generous and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable in a beautiful old building. Our stay was memorable.

This hotel is fantastic, today was my last day and I could’ve spent more time here. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast is great for the value and the location is perfect. From the hotel you can walk to many different beaches in minutes and there are bars and stores meters away, the rooms are nice and cozy and the tv has many channels. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting Sanremo.

EXCELLENT place to reset if you are traveling through Italy or just visiting Sanremo for a night or two. From what I understand, this is a family run hotel and it shows. The pride they put in their business shows. CLEAN. Beautifully furnished throughout the hotel, the bathrooms spacious, and beds cozy and comfortable. Giovanni was a blessing to meet upon arrival. He helped suggest a wonderful place to eat (La Porta Verde)and handed us a local map with landmarks to help us get around. The free breakfast was absolutely amazing and the coffee put hair on my chest. English is spoken here so there isn't a language barrier. I recommend Hotel Belle Epoque to anyone wanting a little slice of Italy.

Cozy and small. We was really happy there. Excellent praise for the staff. The lady was really helpful and we had feeling, that we are in good hands. Everything was perfectly prepared, even tough we arrived at noon (3 hours before possible check in). It's truly worth it!
