Hotels on first line in Sanremo

The people at the breakfast queue are lined up like sardines in a can. And the beach that “belongs” to the hotel is NOT free, nor are the sun beds of their own pool, which was not told in advance

Superb location on the sea, with great facilities including outdoors sittings and pool. Very good service from the staff, friendly and helpful, reception, bar and restaurant

The hotel Miramare in Sanremo is very elegant and modern hotel. Wonderful view and garden with swimming pool. Not far away from the main attractions. I suggest you this hotel for a Holiday or just a long week-end

I am so pleased we found this hotel! Just a short walk from the town centre and seafront, this hotel had lovely comfortable beds (with blissful air conditioning if you've spent the day wandering through Ventimiglia Market in 31 degree sunshine)

Is located just off the main road near downtown in an enclosed convent setting so it's peaceful, quiet, and feels miles away from the busy City only 200 feet away. A private beach is located only a very short walk away

It's not posh and it's not a dive by any stretch of the imagination. It is a friendly well run hotel. My recommendation if you have a couple of days get full board with all meals. It's well worth the extra money

Friendly, clean, good food, priced fairly and most of all peaceful and quiet. I have come to Villa Sapienza (former name) for many years and now as Villa Sophia it's what I have always come to expect

Breakfast is great and abundant but eating lunch and dinner is a wonderful experience! Villa Sophia also offers free secured parking

Great location near beaches tucked away from main road and within easy walk to downtown attractions. Breakfast at luxury hotel next door adds a bit of glamour.

Excellent experience It was my second stay in this lovely hotel. The situation is excellent, only a short walk to the center. Everything is clean, the bed is very comfortable. I will surely return.

Silvana receptionist with a French accent was phenomenal friendly understanding and customer oriented

Finding the reception was complicated since we had to register at the Miramar (far from the suites) because there was no one at the reception at the San Remo luxury suites

Pleasant room with a seaview and balcony. Slightly cramped bathroom, but no real issue. Good breakfast, and free parking. 5 miles from San Remo see walkable but advised not to after dark. Free bicycles to use if needed

Cosy hotel at the Coast, just separated by the Coast Road from the sea. Romantic small mediterranean garden, friendly and helpful receptionsts who know their business

Noisy when neighbours are in and cold in October when i was there. Stunning sea view from the balcony though! Great breakfast and nice staff.

Probably my favourite place to stay in Sanremo. It has a lot of charm so doesn't need too many frills. The flowery terrace outside is a lovely place to sit and chat

We had a wonderful 'adventure' on a seaworthy craft which was different from any hotel or b&b. We would definitely return and recommend to everyone, especially if you like boats and the sea

A very unique stayover - right in the port of San Remo amongst the beautiful yachts. Fraboni was extremely helpful and had many recommendations for restaurants etc. He was very flexible and was receptive to our requests

Very nice, with swimming pool, free wifi, very close to the sea and also the city center. Everybody is very nice and did the effort to speak French !

Lovely family run hotel with great amenities

Got to San Remo at late evening, found this hotel. Illuminated pool with the guy playing ballads on the piano next to it. Ordered a bottle of wine and enjoyed every moment

Charming hotel! Great location! High-quality finishing in a classic palace style! The room for three turned out to have a gorgeous terrace overlooking the sea and the domes of the neighboring temple! Perfectly clean! Elegant restaurant with a view of the sea and the promenade for breakfast! Surprised by raspberries and blackberries! Very tasty omelet and a sufficient selection of everything else! Waiters...

This was followed by a issue in regards to beach access, the hotel web site states beach access courtesy of Hotel, be but we were informed they charge 45 EUR a day, the young girl girl working at the reception told us this is alway a problem with guests and the hotel should update its website

HK vacuuming corridors outside guest rooms late at night, all showing little management of the hotel. There are better options including Hotels with pools that we will book for our next visit to beautiful Sanremo

In the end we walked 300 meters along the beach and found a great beach club charging 14 EUR for two guests and spent our week there with a better beach and great restaurant and bar for lunch

We enjoyed our couple of nights in this rather grand hotel. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. A wonderful dining room with amazing views. Excellent breakfast with a fantastic choice

One minor complaint was regarding the water from the shower seeping out to the shower room floor which was a concern re slipping

Great friendly personnel. Close to beach. But rooms smell bad, lots of noice every morning and you have to pay 10€ per sun chair at the pool even though you stay at the hotel…

One of them for children (very shallow) and the other is large enough (in one part of the pool the depth is 1 m, the other 2m, and in the third - 3M), there is also a small springboard from which you can jump

The hotel Londres is located just in front of them (across the street). To sea at a relaxed pace-5 minutes walk. Also, this hotel is within walking distance to the city centre (walking 5-10 minutes)

Great hotel with great service. The pool is fantastic, and is cleaned ocean water (you can still taste te salt!). Great little bar and just a great spot in the sun!

Excellent hotel, away from the chaos of the seafront and clubs. By car you can reach the motorway or the center of Sanremo in just a few minutes. Note the extremely kind and helpful staff for every request

Very good located in the heart of sanremo with a great sea view. The breakfast could definetly be improved as it is not really tasty and rather low quality in our impression

Solid hotel, great balcony views, and excellent service

The restaurant was clean and tidy, though a bit worn. The food was great and was prepared in a timely manner. The waiters were polite. I could pay with credit card.

good food at very.moderate prices. we ordered pasta and it was really savoury. sweets offered were really delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Comments are: lovely and cosy room. Not a fancy hotel and that's not what I look for at times. The restaurant was OK (but we ate out most the time)

The room is big, and the ceilings high, but the air conditioning doesn't really work, the bed is two twins put together and the pillows very hard, overall the actual hotel and room are beautiful Also good breakfast and location

The elevator is a little slow the toilet in the rooms is OK (slightly dated). The hotel is located in a prime place. Not too central to get all the noise and not far out that it takes ages to walk back

There are quite a lot of signs of it throughout the rooms, you could see some mold, some dirt, even a cockroach) however, overall it’s an okay place to stay in considering budget vs benefits

We come to Lolli Palace at least one week every summer. The team is very nice, rooms are big enough and clean, restaurant & bar well equipped

You have a sea view, it is 10 meters from the cycle / pedestrian path, (and the sea is practically after this), it is located 5 minutes from the center, has the possibility of having a garage, because finding a parking space in Sanremo is a real challenge

The only thing a bit upseting is the check out which was at 10 o'clock and that ment wake up early in the morning for packing the bags, but despite this I will recomend it anytime

The staff is helpful and nice, they offer lots of information if you want. The room was clean, towels changed every day

They could also speak other languages, but that's what I heard spoken. It's wonderfully located: across the street from the sea, and less than ten minutes to town. I would always return to stay

Close to the down town, restaurants, beach, great and friendly staff, the rooms are very clean, new, comfortable beds. Everything works over there incl. washing machines.

Only downside is the club on the beach that was loud during the weekend at night, but with the closed window this wasnt an issue anymore and it is expected in an italian riviera town
