Very tired hotel that requires modernising. Air conditioning wasn’t working so the bedrooms were 27oC overnight - the staff were unhelpful when we asked about it and said they were sending maintenance up to fix, knowing that it didn’t work. Pool was nice and the location is good.

What a faboulous place with splendid staff!
I spent 3 days with my family in this very elegant hotel right in front of the sea, or "pieds dans l'eau" as they say in french. We have a 1 year old boy and everything was perfect: the crib in the room, the kids swimming pool, the great welcome we got from everybody from staff.
The main swimming pool for adults is bid and clean.
The food at the lunch restaurant was great, I particularly recommend the nicoise salad and the trofie al pesto.
For the evenings, we dined at their elegant evening restaurant where I recommend their fish dishes.
They also organized live music on friday and saturday night, the 2 singers were very very good.
The gym is small but it has everything you need to work out. The breakfast was fantastic in variety of choices.
Nearby there is a very nice park with peacocks and beautiul pedestrian street that goes all the way from Arenzano to Cogoleto right in front of the sea.
So, all in all, we had a fantastic time in this boutique hotel and, as Terminator would say...... "I will be back!" :-)
PS a special mention goes to the member of staff SILVANO, a very kind man who took fantastic care of us and that I wish to thank.

A nice hotel at the center of the city. Room doors need to be fixed. Elevator is very old. After taking shower, bathroom gets wet.

Right next to a busy street, this hotel has lost most of its charm a long time ago. The rooms are in good condition, hallways and elevators look dated, the breakfast was mediocre, the coffee from the machine was a warcrime. The amenities seem cheap: only plastic cups in the room, no conditioner. Having breakfast on the terrace you only hear cars, not the waves. The pool was closed, some of the staff had difficulty with English. I appreciated the valet parking but they only helped us on arrival. The beds were comfortable, the ac worked. There are many families with young children staying here (not a negative point, just good to know for other travellers).

Too may hotels describe themselves as "Grand" but are anything but. This hotel definitely deserves this accolade. It is immaculate. Lovely staff. Great location. Spotlessly clean. Everything works as expected. Parking on site. Delicious food. Easy to use WiFi. International TV channels for most of Europe.
We really enjoyed our one night stay and are minded to return should we be back in that direction.

Ideally situated on the sea front, very nice room with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom complete with power shower. Excellent buffet breakfast with a very large choice.

A big hotel from the old times. As usual in Italy the people are extra nice. The breakfast is really copious. The seafront location is its main advantage ; be sure to order a room with view on the sea so you can see the sunrise on Genoa. Only drawback, depending on the room, the bathroom can be small so if you're big call them in advance to avoid any surprise.

The position of the AC in the room is awful....straight to bed....not good.
But the worst experience was the breakfast.... selection of the warm food in buffet was awful. Only poor scramble eggs and look poorer bacon...
Not enough staff to be around and either they were not attentive enough or didnt understand English, but they didnt bring me the baby high-chair that I asked so many times.
Then it was a windy day... supposedly you tied the umbrella right? So it wont flapping like crazy.... hit me and even hit the chair....still, no one came and do something.....
Ahh..... its only 1 night stay....but it makes me thinking many times to come back....
