Super nice hotel, great swimming pool, nice rooms, the food was great, for me the hotel deserves 5 stars. The service was so attentive, I have never experienced it before. Thumbs up for the housekeeping staff who greeted us with their refreshing manners every morning. The service at breakfast was also great. We will come back in any case.

A beautiful hotel. We were more than satisfied with everything. You bosses and the staff are all very friendly. Great breakfast, something for everyone. If you have a wish, it will be fulfilled. World class dinner ... 🤩 In the afternoon you can also eat homemade cake. In warm temperatures you can cool off around the pool.

A nice cozy hotel. It offers a beautiful pool, tennis court, table tennis and table football. The rooms are very nice. The breakfast and evening menu were excellent. All in all, we can highly recommend the hotel. Lg

No fans (or a.c) in the rooms. So we have to keep all windows open. So it's noisy till late night. Some people pay more and choose this hotel so they may get their 40 minutes of workout per day , only to find the lone Multi-gym machine, in the gym , is not working, and i learned it's been that way since a while. No mirror in the gym too, for the very few light dumbbells available.. Kids club activities...

Great family hotel with a lot to offer. There is an indoor and outdoor playground, petting farm, indoor and outdoor pool, daycare (hours after limited) and salon service (nail, massage, tanning, etc). Beautiful hotel in Schenna, 4/5 km from Merano. Clean and not to be underestimated rooms, newly furnished, from floors to bathroom fixtures, large terraces with breathtaking views. Parking adjacent to the hotel, has an outdoor and indoor swimming pool. Good breakfast, but more geared towards foreign tourism, I would recommend some typical local cakes, but I understand that few Italians are in circulation...

The Hotel Astor is a very well-kept and nicely furnished hotel. The romantic suite is large and the two bathrooms make you feel good. Unfortunately, you can neither enjoy the view from the bed nor from the sofa, as you look directly onto the balconies of the other guests. Sitting on the balcony is rather unpredictable, but in return you get a wonderful panorama. The parking situation is a bit stressful...

The Hotel Astor is a rather smaller family hotel. The hotel family masters both reception and service. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxed. The view from the rooms and the balcony was amazing. And the dinner was first class (a large salad buffet every day, a 4-course menu with a separate children's menu, themed evenings such as South Tyrolean delicacies...

We had a wonderful time at Walters Garden Hotel, and especially enjoyed the lovely view from the terrace, the friendly personnel and the amazing Whiskey Coke offered at the bar. The rooms were lovely and clean, even offering air conditioning for when temperatures rise above 30 degrees. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, will definitely come back soon.

The WaltersGarden-Hotel is a small but cozy hotel. There was nothing left to be desired. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The garden and the pool as well as all other rooms are very well maintained and tastefully designed. The food was terrific. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

A beautiful pearl on the sunny slope of Schenna. The food is a pleasure at star level and that as half board. Incredibly nice and committed hotel owners in a family atmosphere. Just great. We have never met such nice and attentive hotel operators as we did at the Hotel Alpenrose. They fulfill every wish, are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and the food was delicious. We stayed in the Passerhaus in the valley (apartment) and were allowed to use the hotel area. Therefore, I can not judge the rooms. The location is spectacular though. It has a fantastic view over Merano and is still fast in the middle of the action. The pool area is modern and clean and the staff in the hotel are very friendly. A great place to relax and a good starting point for hikes.

Excellent views from the rooms. A nice pool and jacuzzi with a view, as well. Very quiet location far above the village. Food: that's why I put 3 stars and not 4. I have had better food for the same price hotel in Schenna.

We stayed 4 nights at Christophs Hotel in Schenna and we enjoyed it. The hotel is located right on the town's main road, opposite the bus stop for Merano. Large and cozy room (furnished in Tyrolean style wood) with a nice balcony. Comfortable bed, daily cleaning and parking for customers. The breakfast is also good and offers a lot of choice.

Nice resort with all the facilities you need. Great view to the mountain. Dinner varieties were marvelous, same with breakfast. Nothing to complain. Good hotel centrally located in the village of Tyrol. The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view. The breakfast offer was sufficient. The food was meat-heavy, the quality was rather mediocre. The fact that the salad buffet was only available from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. was suboptimal.
