Hotel Tyrol in Scena

We stayed at Hotel Tyrol in a room with breakfast and felt completely at home from the very beginning! The room was spotlessly clean and the view was simply breathtaking. The absolute highlight for us was the rooftop whirlpool – perfect for relaxing after a day in the mountains. The breakfast was also delicious with a wide selection, and the entire team was very friendly and helpful. The spa area is modern and inviting, and there are countless fantastic hiking opportunities in the surrounding area. We found the free public transport ticket particularly convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! 🌞💛

This hotel has it all – the view speaks for itself! A beautiful pool, a stunning panorama, and a spacious terrace for relaxing. Family-run, with a lot of heart and attention to detail. The food is also excellent – ​​you feel completely at ease and welcome. Highly recommended!

I was absolutely thrilled with my stay at the Hotel Tyrol in Schenna. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are very spacious, there's plenty of room to spread out, and the view of Merano and the apple trees was unbeatable. I really enjoyed the spa area, especially the pleasantly heated pool – it meant the water was neither too cold nor too warm, and you could cool off without feeling too cold. It was also easy to swim, as the pool is approximately 25 meters long.

My absolute highlight was the breakfast; there was a very large selection at the buffet. There were also many options for vegetarians, such as oat milk. I've never seen such a large selection of pastries. In the afternoon, there are always sandwiches, homemade apple strudel, and various other cakes/tarts. Dinner is also supposed to be very good; unfortunately, we only booked breakfast, but we will definitely opt for half board next time. The dishes sounded very good!
The dinner menu always includes great hiking tips and other activities, which I think is great because you can still get inspiration for excursions in the morning.

All in all, the vacation was fantastic, and I highly recommend the hotel. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We had a room with a balcony offering a perfect view over the vineyards towards Merano. The room was very large, spacious, and clean. We booked with breakfast included, and the buffet selection was extremely extensive and very good. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and recommended some great hiking trails.

You can park directly at the hotel, but we also used the included South Tyrol Card and took advantage of the frequent bus service (the bus stop is a 5-minute walk from the hotel). The pool is perfect for relaxing, and you can also swim comfortably because it's quite long. The rooftop whirlpool is also very nice, and the view from the top is truly beautiful and completely unobstructed.

All in all, we were 100% satisfied and would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

We spent a week at the Hotel Tyrol and were very satisfied with everything. It was really relaxing starting with the location of the hotel, the great junior suite with a view of the mountains and Merano, the delicious food, very friendly staff and, last but not least, the pool and jacuzzi. We enjoyed everything very much and would love to come back. FANTASTIC!!!!

Best location in the middle of town and still quiet. Unmatched view from the terrace at breakfast. Nice rooms, good food, great service.
