The structure is a bit old, need some renovation. But the atmosphere is really good. The staff is very friendly, nice🙂

They are really polite, they serve gluten free breakfast under request. Is a little bit far from the city, I recommend you go if you have a car.

Don’t let the outside appearance influence to much , the price is fair , reception service is friendly , inside the rooms are clean, everyday breakfast with enough options and location is accessible to reach Pisa, Florence in one hour by car and to do long walks in nature. Historic hotel: You get what you pay (low price, low standard) though acceptable value: outdoor pool, breakfast and parking included. In hot days also AC (central only from 13-4am). Facade looks horrible and the furniture gets you back to 1980 or so. They really need an investor but the whole Montecantini area seems to have over capacity as even it's high season August, all rates all over are low...

We arrived the evening after 1.00 the innkeeper was a little annoyed because he had to wait until that time. In the room there was no sound pipe so no shower and no innkeeper to inform him why he had gone to sleep. The room was close to where I do not know what that produces an annoying ringing and constant

Good hotel in a great location. The shower stall cleaning can be improved a little. For the rest we had a really good time. The great price and the kindness of the staff as well. The La Polveriera restaurant is noteworthy. We return.

I had the most amazing room with a lovely balcony and the most wonderful panoramic view of the scenery. The food was delicious and the deserts were a delicious surprise every night. Just back from trip with travel department. This hotel was very disappointing. Dark reception area. Small basic rooms. Air conditioning not working properly. Extremely warm and uncomfortable. A very nice hotel with perfect service, good cleaning, it’s really beautiful. Spa is very small but ok. Massage was good. Breakfasts are very poor, but you can do fresh juices - that’s a plus. Bar is good. It’s super close to the Thermes.

The only slight disappointment has been the breakfast, I find it annoying to come to a five star hotel with breakfast included and to have to pay extra at breakfast most cooked options... only include scrambled eggs and have to pay for fried eggs or omelet, only include hard boiled eggs and have to pay for soft boiled eggs...

A spa hotel that looks impressive on the outside, and provides a warm welcome, after cycling from Lucca the welcome drink was very welcome! The spa is just as extensive with indoor and outdoor pools steam room and sauna to name just a few of the facilities. This is the type of place that you could arrive at and not leave until it was time to go home. The rooms are stunning and very relaxing.

We recently stayed at the hotel and couldn’t have been happier. Check-in was seamless, our spotless, spacious room with a lovely view felt like home, and the staff—from concierge to housekeeping—were friendly and attentive. The location is excellent, with a huge parking area just steps away. Highly recommend!

We honestly did not know what to expect when booking this hotel. We booked it last minute and came to Montecatini for 2 days. We are so happy we did end up here. The room was comfortable to stay for two people, it equipped with an air conditionner, a fridge, a fan (though it didn't freeze much). The bathroom was also spacious. Location is close to train station which makes it a perfect base to explore the region by train. The breakfast was varied and very good. Lots of sweets but also healthier alternatives. Pool area is nice too. Room was quite simple and a bit dated. However, considering the price, Hotel Villa Rita, provides excellent value.

This Hotel is in the perfect position in this small town just outside Florence Italy. We could easily walk to lots of shops a carnival great food and wonderful gelato! What could be better!

Cosy rooms with a magnificent view. Nothing else to offer. Lights in my shower weren't working (they seem not to all across Italy though) and the staff doesn't speak English.

For me this place is underrated. If you are OK with staying in a vintage hotel, the price/service ratio is actually very convenient. The breakfast was good, the staff super kind and I am definitely considering coming back again as a base for visiting Tuscany.

Small and clean rooms. The host is a very friendly and cheerful lady. The hotel has an elevator and small front porch. The breakfast was ok, a little bit too much sweet stuff. The walls are quite thin so you can hear the traffic and neighbours quite clear. Overall and compared to the price it was a good stay.

The perfect Place where to spend your holiday in Tuscany.

This is a 4• hotel mainly I think because of the great spa and massage facilities. The hotel itself feels like a seaside resort hotel and the bedroom was very ordinary. The two pools look large in the photos but are in fact quite small and were cold in September as was the outside jacuzzi so virtually unusable. The restaurant was acceptable but not outstanding. Next time I think I would stay at one...
