Great experience @ Grand Hotel Croce di Malta. Rooms were ready and clean upon arrival. Rooms were also spacious. Staff was courteous and accommodating. Food and service were very good.

Amazing stay at the Croce di Malta! Rooms were big and clean, the staff is so friendly and professional, and the location cannot be beat! The hotel is clean and beautiful and the pool is the best! So relaxing and overall a great stay! Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area.

A beautiful place to stay in Montecatini. Chill by the pool, drink at the bar, get out to the closest bar for a drink, eat at the center square, get another drink at the bar in the parque on a way back, sleep well in a comfortable bed.

First and foremost is that all the staff were very polite and professional. The rooms are of a good size and kept very clean. The dining room was spacious and all of the food I sampled there during a 7 night stay was all well presented and tasted absolutely delicious. Bar service was spot on. My friends and I, who have been staying at this hotel while on a tour of Tuscany, are shocked that this is rated 5 stars. They must have bribed someone! There is cheap laminate on the floors in my room which has warped and bubbled up. You can't control the temperature in your room, which is a problem. Gate One Travel assigned us to this hotel for our Tuscany trip back in November. We didn't opt for the rental car, which was just fine because Hotel Minerva Palace is about a ten-minute walk from the Montecatini Centro train station. Hotel certainly was authentic complete with a bidet, but was comfortable and affordable. To note though is how friendly and helpful the staff was with every single question. They were simply amazing. The location is great, nearby restaurants and shops. The hotel is really noisy, the doors of the rooms closes so hard that you wake up when someone leaves his room. Also a lot of noise from outside. The cleaning could be better. When we're arrived our room wasn't cleaned but they've gave us an other room and apologies for the mistake.

Lovely accommodation in stylish hotel, with friendly staff. We were half board and the meals were unbelievably good! Breakfasts were waiter service, as was the full, included, menu in the evening. All delicious,and plentiful! The area around the hotel has cafes and restaurants and Montecatini is well placed and connected for exploring.

This is a lovely hotel close to the centre of Montecatini. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is great.. rooftop restaurant has good views. Being an older building there’s only one lift so access to the upper floors and restaurant can mean a bit of a wait is some exercise. Overall a good experience.

This is a really nice Hotel. The service is good. We paid extra for a superior room and felt this was worth it. Breakfast and evening meal is excellent. All the staff spoke English and were very helpful. I would have liked to have stayed slightly out of the town but this is personal preference. The Hotel has secure parking which I think was 15 euros a day. I would happily recommend this Hotel.

Booked by chance and no regrets. The first rooms we were allocated were rather dark, otherwise fine, but the following day we were given excellent rooms with balconies. Checked in on 15 May 2024 for 3 nights under group tour. Stayed in a room at level 4 for 3 pax. Room was spacious with 2 level (upper level with additional bed). Breakfast everyday the same. Nothing much nearby to walk around in the evening. No gym, but there is a swimming pool.

This hotel has a simple elegance. The interior design of carpets, the lobby and bar, and the rooms makes it feel special and sets it apart from simple three star accommodations. The beds are comfortable and the triple rooms have little stairs leading up to a loft type space that makes the rooms fun and unique.

Breakfast and dinner was amazing! Much variety. The WIFI however was not working and practically impossible to connect to. The rooms were excellent.
