The hotel is surrounded by an old Park and is a delightful Villa of the XIX century rooms which feature antique furniture and painted with well-preserved frescoes.

Right out of the hotel building along the corridor you can get into an ultra-modern Wellness centre with Department of Oriental medicine, a gym, numerous relaxation areas and a beauty salon.

In 2010 it was awarded the prestigious prize of the Finer Spa's 2010 reader's choice aword and was in the top ten hotels in hot springs, thanks to the quality and healing properties of the waters.

realistically, the hotel is a three-star hotel, the only thing that is 5-star is the prices. The beer is spoiled (expired date), the prices on the price list are different than after they are charged to you

Best part of the hotel was the friendly staff and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I think it was good value for what you’re paying for. However we were disappointed with the amenities and atmosphere of the hotel. It didn’t feel like a five star hotel but it has the potential. There are no signs anywhere in the hotel, so it’s confusing to get around and even when we showed up for our massage, no one was around to greet us or tell us where to go. The actual massage was good. The steam room and sauna were smelly. All the conditioner bottles in the showers were empty. Drinking water in the spa areas was warm. In general the hotel lacked charm, it was very corporate hotel-feel. Nothing crazy but we saved this hotel last on our trip to have a five star hotel experience and it was a let down. So if you’re expecting five star resort, I would say it might be disappointing but if you need a solid place to stay in the area, you might enjoy your time here.

We went as 2 friends and had such a wonderful time away. The hotel is so clean! The staff were attentive. But the star of the show is the unbelievable treatments at the spa. We had a facial, massage and experienced the steam cave, all were excellent. I will definitely be returning, many times. Also, the barman is amazing, so enthusiastic about his job, his cocktails were wonderful!

The hotel is set in a beautiful setting with lovely gardens and pools. The rooms are very nicely decorated. They provided a lovely breakfast and excellent health spa. Recommended going underground into the cave for good breathing therapy. There are also numerous good restaurants to enjoy in the area.

This review is only for the spa, where we booked a Meditarium package.
The people at the reception are nice but we would have appreciated a few more details about how to navigate the different areas. We were told to go upstairs and we’ll find employees that will explain us everything, but we didn’t find anyone upstairs initially.
The outdoor pool was the highlight of our visit. I highly recommend it.
The other spa facilities were very nice but we didn’t have a relaxing time as there were many people inside and they were very loud. Not so much meditation …
The cocktails at the bar are very nice.

We had booked 2 nights to stay here at the Spa using our free night rewards stay from Marriott. Before leaving for Italy, I was reading recent reviews on this hotel and getting nervous that maybe we should only stay one night and save our rewards night for another place. I am so glad I kept both nights here. upon check in we re provided with complimentary glasses of wine and we were upgraded to a beautiful room as we are gold Bonvoy members. The room was gorgeous and our favorite for the whole week we spent in Italy. There was a nice King size bed, beautiful marble bathroom with really nice shampoo/conditioner/lotions. I do agree with other reviewers that the spa was a little hard to navigate but the property is huge so I dont think there is anything that they can do about it. The outdoor thermal pools are not as hot as we would have preferred but it was still fine and very relaxing with all the strong jets. As for the dining, we only had breakfast one morning and the staff was plentiful, friendly and the buffet was full of many items to choose from. I had talked to the front desk about the dining and i was told they hired all new staff and things were much better, which I witnessed. We had chosen restaurants to eat at in nearby towns ahead of time for our dinners. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Tuscany!

The hotel is pleasant, although it falls more in the category of a 4-star rather than a 5-star hotel . If you're celebrating a special occasion, they may not fulfill specific requests such as room decoration. Additionally, their in-room dining service is not available 24/7, which is typically expected in a 5-star hotel. The food quality in both the pool and main restaurants is poor. The bar should stay open until at least 12 AM.

Very good Resort in Tuscany. Good to relax.

The hotel was refurbished in 2021 and opened in April 2022. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The bathroom has a huge shower. Our room on the second floor has a large balcony facing the park.

The hotel has a pool, tennis court, gym, and trail for walking and exercising.

It has a SPA adjacent to the hotel open to the public, and it has one of the largest Grotta in Europe. The hotel has a smaller thermal pool and saunas exclusively for guests inside and outside. The guests also can use the large thermal pool open for the public.

The SPA has several treatments and face/body massages.

They have a bar for cocktails and a restaurant.

I recommend for relaxing and treatments.
