I can’t praise this hotel enough. Rooms are spacious, well designed and clean. Staff were really friendly and efficient. Food was excellent and had so much choice! My only negative point was having to queue for the hot drinks machine in the morning but it was only an extra 5 mins max per day, we just aren’t used to it!

The location is excellent for skiing. It is possible to ski right to the front door and it is a short walk up in front of the hotel before you are able to put skis on and get down to the lifts. The staff were all excellent and were accommodating. The food is excellent and there is a great choice, albeit not if you are vegetarian/vegan. During my stay the hotel heating was very hot. It is not possible...

Great hotel and the food was fantastic but the drinks were expensive €4 for a bottle of coke and €7 for a pint of beer.

A perfect location for a skiing hotel, you can ski in and out of the hotel door. The food was delicious and varied and the hotel has all the facilities for a perfect skiing holidays, very nice spa area and lounge bar with a great selection of hot and cold drinks. The staff was as friendly as they could but seemed a bit overworked! The superior single room was spacious and had a good storage space....

Ski in and out. Easy access to the lockers from the snow. Great room with a view and a fab shower. Staff were incredibly helpful and worked hard at dealing with individual needs. Ok hotel with fine room, but dusty. Mattress and pillows are very uncomfortable. Breakfast is 1 out 5. At 9 am there is almost no food. In general: bread is not fresh at all, one option of cheese, no vegetables, not ok coffee. Elevator: it takes one order in a time- you need to wait to order it if it is currently moving.

Very friendly staff, we enjoyed our time

Two stays, winter 2018 and 2919, we have a great time: breakfast with a lot of choice, room with all comforts, shuttle service, Jacuzzi, small spa, one of the most beautiful and characteristic external structures of all Sestriere. But above all the staff: welcoming, friendly, cheerful, always available. It is true, however, that the internal structure needs renovation and renewal in some details

The structure is very beautiful, both rooms and common areas, with the exception of the bathrooms in the rooms that need complete renovation and the wellness area which has a whirlpool and Turkish bath to replace. Good breakfast, instead the dinner served at the crystal hotel leaves much to be desired: I do not recommend half board.

But I've never been to this place.

This accommodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable. The sauna is a bonus (8 euros per day). The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful, particularly Nicola and Monica The location was perfect with great views of the mountains. Great view from the balcony. But the 6 person rooms are to small even for 5 persons, basically the fifth person will sleep on a sofa and the other two in a room with out a window... And there isn't any place to dry your clothes after skiing. But all the rooms have a great kitchen with all the basic appliances, plates, forks etc.

We have stayed in Residence palace 2 Sestriere during family skiing holidays in January 2016! Super friendly, helpful and smiley staff, especially administrators and restaurant waiting staff. Restaurant manager was very helpful and welcoming! Service great, rooms are clean but not huge. Food good but too bigger portions. Just 5 mins walk down to ski shop with lockers where you walk out the door and jump on your skis ⛷

Lovely hotel with great service. Particularly like the conservatory looking out over the mountains - the perfect spot to enjoy the afternoon tea and cakes on offer. The hotel is well located for accessing the ski lifts.

Excellent breakfast and good location. 3 minutes walking from the town center and 10 from the slopes. They also give you the opportunity to leave your gear in a ski rent right on the slopes for free. The room is very small though. But a very good price quality ratio ovetall!

Finicky water system makes showers an unpleasant challenge. Central heating with no control over room temp, is completely shut down overnight. Good location near shops and short walk to ski lifts, friendly accommodating reception staff, reasonable breakfast.

Great suite, hotel staff and restaurant staff very helpful. Food can be hit and miss. Huge wine selection but we choose 3 wines all not available with a justification " end of the season" that at the end of january is not good, especially for a 4* hotel But other than that a very good experience and I recommend it

Decent enough, ok food, ok rooms. Has a feel as if it was built in 2006 for the Olympics and hasn't seen any renovation since. Still, good price and you don't really spend that much time inside.

The hotel is in a beautiful location in front of it there is the golf club and is in a confortable location in Sestriere. The rooms are large, I booked for a double and it was very large, also the bathroom was nice. Just one defect, in my opinion, the lights in the room and in the bathroom was not so much. Great location. Very very close to the slopes and the town centre. The rooms are a bit outdated but the quality of the food and the kindness of the staff make up for everything the room might lack. The hotel staff will go the extra length to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Praise go to the restaurant maitre, the waiters, the receptionists and the barmen for making our stay great!!

Mixed experience. Rooms ok with fair size and kept clean and tidy; location great: ski shop next door (for hire plus shop for booking ski lessons) and ski lifts and ticket office 100 yards away. Brilliant for me but not for everyone. Very very close to the chairlifts. Very polite friendly family atmosphere. Chef that looks like he's from the Adams family was a very nice man. Can't fault the hotel at all! Staff were amazing especially the head waiter! Food choices were varied and fresh, never had a bad meal. You won't go hungry! Rooms are clean, location is 10mins walking from slopes, breakfast is very basic. Those are the bright sides, all the other aspects (room size, noise etc etc) are on the down side. Overall is an old hotel not very close to slopes with small rooms and not many attention to details. Fine for a short stay. People are nice and they are willing to take care of you

Traditional hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Having read on reviews that the ‘small double’ room was very small we booked a double/ twin room which was still quite small but adequate. Twin beds, double wardrobe, en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

A really well run family hotel with friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable furnishing, sauna,steam room,jacuzzi, pool table and excellant food with plenty of choices. Also the temperature in the hotel was very warm you could wear a t shirt all the time it was never cold. This hotel gos the extra mile to look after you and I have really enjoyed my stay here.

The place is amazing - right at the top of the mountain. It's a speedy lift lift up to it, and the views, the red run down, the staff, the rooms, and the value for money are all great. But you are totally cut off from the town. The only way up is the ski lift when the lifts is open (with skis on) or on Massimo's ski-doo when the lift is closed. Amazing views of the valley and mountains surrounding the place. Really beautiful restaurant. We did not have any food here, but we will in the future. Coffee was good. One tip: arriving from the slope number 9 will make your life so much easier 😊

Not even 10 minutes by car from the center of Sestriere. Having stayed only one night with a night + breakfast formula, I cannot judge the restaurant part.
