Key weakness is the quality of the food at dinner. The buffet style offering was inconsistent: eg. a tasteless salmon dish but some reasonable pasta dishes for prima plate. Deserts were really good and with a range of options. Staff very friendly and helpful. Boot room far too crowded each morning but did offer lockers. Ski in ski out OK.

I can’t praise this hotel enough. Rooms are spacious, well designed and clean. Staff were really friendly and efficient. Food was excellent and had so much choice! My only negative point was having to queue for the hot drinks machine in the morning but it was only an extra 5 mins max per day, we just aren’t used to it!

The location is excellent for skiing. It is possible to ski right to the front door and it is a short walk up in front of the hotel before you are able to put skis on and get down to the lifts. The staff were all excellent and were accommodating. The food is excellent and there is a great choice, albeit not if you are vegetarian/vegan. During my stay the hotel heating was very hot. A perfect location for a skiing hotel, you can ski in and out of the hotel door. The food was delicious and varied and the hotel has all the facilities for a perfect skiing holidays, very nice spa area and lounge bar with a great selection of hot and cold drinks. The staff was as friendly as they could but seemed a bit overworked! The superior single room was spacious and had a good storage space....

Nice clean and tidy hotel in the center of Sestriere located 100m away from ski slope/station. Rooms are sunny with slopes view or street view ( if you are not lucky ) Large skiroom with lockers. Ski in and out. Easy access to the lockers from the snow. Great room with a view and a fab shower. Staff were incredibly helpful and worked hard at dealing with individual needs. Ok hotel with fine room, but dusty. Mattress and pillows are very uncomfortable. Breakfast is 1 out 5. At 9 am there is almost no food. In general: bread is not fresh at all, one option of cheese, no vegetables, not ok coffee. Elevator: it takes one order in a time- you need to wait to order it if it is currently moving.

Lovely old hotel, does need a bit of work but I liked the charm of it. The mattresses were very hard, I got used to them but I can imagine some people finding them too uncomfortable. The food was very good and they catered well to vegetarians. The hotel is a fair walk from the centre but there are shuttle buses to take you to the slopes.

The hotel feels a little tired and shows signs of age. Despite this there are all of the usual amenities, bar, restaurant and a spa. The staff and management are fantastic making us feel at home with nothing too much trouble for them. The hotel is a good 15 minute walk from the centre of town, which is nice because the area around the hotel stays quiet. There is a shuttle bus going between the hotel...

Very friendly staff, we enjoyed our time

Two stays, winter 2018 and 2919, we have a great time: breakfast with a lot of choice, room with all comforts, shuttle service, Jacuzzi, small spa, one of the most beautiful and characteristic external structures of all Sestriere. But above all the staff: welcoming, friendly, cheerful, always available. It is true, however, that the internal structure needs renovation and renewal in some details

This accommodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable. The sauna is a bonus (8 euros per day). The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful, particularly Nicola and Monica The location was perfect with great views of the mountains. Great view from the balcony. But the 6 person rooms are to small even for 5 persons, basically the fifth person will sleep on a sofa and the other two in a room with out a window... And there isn't any place to dry your clothes after skiing. But all the rooms have a great kitchen with all the basic appliances, plates, forks etc.

We have stayed in Residence palace 2 Sestriere during family skiing holidays in January 2016! Super friendly, helpful and smiley staff, especially administrators and restaurant waiting staff. Restaurant manager was very helpful and welcoming! There are daily events in the hotel too, which makes it perfect place for families with young children!I Also very cozy & spacious apartments, which are cleaned...

Service great, rooms are clean but not huge. Food good but too bigger portions. Just 5 mins walk down to ski shop with lockers where you walk out the door and jump on your skis ⛷

Lovely hotel with great service. Particularly like the conservatory looking out over the mountains - the perfect spot to enjoy the afternoon tea and cakes on offer. The hotel is well located for accessing the ski lifts.

Excellent breakfast and good location. 3 minutes walking from the town center and 10 from the slopes. They also give you the opportunity to leave your gear in a ski rent right on the slopes for free. The room is very small though. But a very good price quality ratio ovetall!

Timeshare away from the center, served by a shuttle. Common rooms, evening entertainment, bar, very well stocked and good restaurant.

They were the extremely accommodating and friendly answering all our questions and really making us feel at home free breakfast and diner, the chef would make sure we were satisfied, amazing views of the mountains and kitchenettes in the room made this place feel too good to be true a short walk to the lift really nothing but great things to say about thus place, would visit again!!

Mixed experience. Rooms ok with fair size and kept clean and tidy; location great: ski shop next door (for hire plus shop for booking ski lessons) and ski lifts and ticket office 100 yards away. Brilliant for me but not for everyone. Very very close to the chairlifts. Very polite friendly family atmosphere. Chef that looks like he's from the Adams family was a very nice man. The hotel owner was also a very friendly and hospitable gentleman. He was always happy to help whenever we needed it. Place could do with updating however this is what we paid for (although it wasnt cheap) place also...
