This hotel was built for the 2006 olympics as the athletes village, it’s very basic accommodation at a low price. Could do with some renovations as some areas are looking a bit tired, but provided everything we needed. All rooms have a mountain facing balcony which was lovely and you really cannot beat the location,

Me and 6 of my friends had very good time in this hotel. Its good value for money, right next to the ski pass Booth and elevators. The staff was great in understanding our needs when we needed them and even gave us more than we asked for. I would like to personally thank Christianna for great service. It's really good and people are going skiing there but I haven't gone so dunno but looks better than a 1 star hostel that ppl were saying it was and IT HAS A CINEMA

I found it quite hard to locate the room on the first day, largely due to it's size and poor communication from reception staff. It's size could also double the time it takes to get to the slope's. Great location, breakfast is very nice and the bar area is fantastic, especially the antipasti selection in the evenings

Only stopped for a pricey drink but it looked pretty spectacular. Service was less attentive than it could have been and there was no soap left in the gents. All the Christmas decorations were still piled up round the corner from reception at the end of Feb too.

Excellent hotel with good breakfast and nice rooms. Our 4 person room was large and clean and had a great view on a large balcony. The spa is not included in the price but is really worth visiting with a large varm indoor pool, multiple saunas and a small outdoor bubble pool. The slopes are available with ski in and out or by the shuttle which is free and very quick to pickup.

A very expensive hotel, but you get what you pay for, they cater for everything, loved the massage therapy the most would go again if I won the lottery

Ok hotel with fine room, but dusty. Mattress and pillows are very uncomfortable. Breakfast is 1 out 5. At 9 am there is almost no food. In general: bread is not fresh at all, one option of cheese, no vegetables, not ok coffee. Elevator: it takes one order in a time- you need to wait to order it if it is currently moving.

Lovely hotel, recently refitted so nice bathrooms and decor. Great friendly staff and excellent food.... 5-10 min uphill walk to village centre, but a good service from the hotel bus when you need to get to and from the ski lifts. A spectacular hotel. The rooms are lovely, but can get a bit chilly of a winters evening, so bring slippers. The staff are amazing, especially in the dining room. They look after you every evening and cannot be more helpful. The dinner are wonderful, on multiple evenings I had some truly wonderful pasta dishes. The location isn't the closest to the town centre, but the mini bus down to the ski lifts...

My room was lovely & big, quiet with a hot power shower. The food was really good quality & large portions with nice wine too. Our host/waitress was Valentina and her attention to detail was very much appreciated throughout our time in this hotel. Enough to do in the resort for non-skiers too. Perfect

The hotel is in a beautiful location in front of it there is the golf club and is in a confortable location in Sestriere. Great location. Very very close to the slopes and the town centre. The rooms are a bit outdated but the quality of the food and the kindness of the staff make up for everything the room might lack. The hotel staff will go the extra length to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Praise go to the restaurant maitre, the waiters, the receptionists and the barmen for making our stay great!!

Just spent the Christmas holidays skiing in Sestriere and stayed at this lovely hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Can't say enough good things about them. Finicky water system makes showers an unpleasant challenge. Central heating with no control over room temp, is completely shut down overnight. Good location near shops and short walk to ski lifts, friendly accommodating reception staff, reasonable breakfast.

Great suite, hotel staff and restaurant staff very helpful. Food can be hit and miss. Huge wine selection but we choose 3 wines all not available with a justification " end of the season" that at the end of january is not good, especially for a 4* hotel But other than that a very good experience and I recommend it

Decent enough, ok food, ok rooms. Has a feel as if it was built in 2006 for the Olympics and hasn't seen any renovation since. Still, good price and you don't really spend that much time inside.

Great staff in reception and at the restaurant, friendly and helpful. Room spacious, balcony overlooking slopes, bathroom clean and all works, plenty of wardrobe space. I hear rooms in upper floors have been updated. Ours is fully panelled. Spa great, I went after 6pm and was by myself most evenings. Meals varied for breakfast and dinner. Plenty of choice. Some dishes cooked to order. Good social spaces...

Attended the hotel for drinks and the spa facilities. The spa is well equipped, clean and wasn't busy when we went. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar is well stocked if a little pricey but nothing was too expensive. A great hotel but didn't see the rooms as we were not staying overnight.

The rooms are a bit small but we'll equipped. Afternoon tea is a bit disappointing but the main meals are great. They offer a free shuttle bus too and from the slopes which is excellent! You only ever have to wait a few minutes

Ski in and out. Easy access to the lockers from the snow. Great room with a view and a fab shower. Staff were incredibly helpful and worked hard at dealing with individual needs. Two stays, winter 2018 and 2919, we have a great time: breakfast with a lot of choice, room with all comforts, shuttle service, Jacuzzi, small spa, one of the most beautiful and characteristic external structures of all Sestriere. The structure is very beautiful, both rooms and common areas, with the exception of the bathrooms in the rooms that need complete renovation and the wellness area which has a whirlpool and Turkish bath to replace. Good breakfast, instead the dinner served at the crystal hotel leaves much to be desired: I do not recommend half board.

This accommodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable. The sauna is a bonus (8 euros per day). Great view from the balcony. But the 6 person rooms are to small even for 5 persons, basically the fifth person will sleep on a sofa and the other two in a room with out a window... And there isn't any place to dry your clothes after skiing. But all the rooms have a great kitchen with all the basic appliances, plates, forks etc.

We have stayed in Residence palace 2 Sestriere during family skiing holidays in January 2016! Super friendly, helpful and smiley staff, especially administrators and restaurant waiting staff. Restaurant manager was very helpful and welcoming! Timeshare away from the center, served by a shuttle. Common rooms, evening entertainment, bar, very well stocked and good restaurant.

They were the extremely accommodating and friendly answering all our questions and really making us feel at home free breakfast and diner, the chef would make sure we were satisfied, amazing views of the mountains and kitchenettes in the room made this place feel too good to be true a short walk to the lift really nothing but great things to say about thus place, would visit again!!

Very pleased with this hotel - excellent value for money. OK the decor is not the latest but it had a lovely cosy feel and very clean as per other reviews. Room was serviced daily to a high standard. Can't fault the hotel at all! Staff were amazing especially the head waiter! Food choices were varied and fresh, never had a bad meal. You won't go hungry! Rooms are clean, location is 10mins walking from slopes, breakfast is very basic. Those are the bright sides, all the other aspects (room size, noise etc etc) are on the down side. Overall is an old hotel not very close to slopes with small rooms and not many attention to details. Fine for a short stay. People are nice and they are willing to take care of you

Traditional hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Having read on reviews that the ‘small double’ room was very small we booked a double/ twin room which was still quite small but adequate. Twin beds, double wardrobe, en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

A really well run family hotel with friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable furnishing, sauna,steam room,jacuzzi, pool table and excellant food with plenty of choices. Also the temperature in the hotel was very warm you could wear a t shirt all the time it was never cold. This hotel gos the extra mile to look after you and I have really enjoyed my stay here.

Lovely hotel with great service. Particularly like the conservatory looking out over the mountains - the perfect spot to enjoy the afternoon tea and cakes on offer. The hotel is well located for accessing the ski lifts.

Excellent breakfast and good location. 3 minutes walking from the town center and 10 from the slopes. They also give you the opportunity to leave your gear in a ski rent right on the slopes for free. The room is very small though. But a very good price quality ratio ovetall!

The place is amazing - right at the top of the mountain. It's a speedy lift lift up to it, and the views, the red run down, the staff, the rooms, and the value for money are all great. But you are totally cut off from the town. The only way up is the ski lift when the lifts is open (with skis on) or on Massimo's ski-doo when the lift is closed. Amazing views of the valley and mountains surrounding the place. Really beautiful restaurant. We did not have any food here, but we will in the future. Coffee was good. One tip: arriving from the slope number 9 will make your life so much easier 😊
