Wonderful hotel in a strategic location between Lago di Braise and Tre Cime - the hotel has a great overall ambience (cozy, traditional but not dated) and service. This is a fabulous place for families with children. The location is close to everything needed for skiing and near the charming city center. Best of all, everyone who works in this family-run hotel is super friendly and helpful. We stayed with family 4 days, while skiing in Drei Zinnen and we enjoyed our time here. After skiing we used the sauna and pool. The rooms are nice and clean and all the staff is extremely friendly!

Characteristic Tyrolean, welcoming and kind staff but not always attentive to the customer's needs. The rooms are of different quality depending on the price, the renovated ones are beautiful and functional, the others decidedly old and uncomfortable. Rich and varied breakfast, also attentive to allergies and intolerances. Nice location.

A picturesque location, right along the main road. We visited only restaurant and tried only coffee + Strudel and were pleasantly surprised by good quality, service and low price.

Fantastic. We called at 11pm at night and she stayed open until we got there greeting us in her traditional Drindle costume . We were amazed to get anybody to answer the phone. Great location, comfortable, warm and clean rooms. Very proud, quick and customer forward service. All that five star.. I would only mentioned the breakfast could be made from "real" eggs, not many choices for hot options thought and there are no vegetables or raw fruit to hold on, shame that dinner is a bit too expensive.

Nice place close to Dobbiaco's lake and all the nice beautiful place in that land. The Hotel is closest to the railway and the railway station but inside the building you will not ear anything. The food is good but the breakfast is a little bit poor.

Excellent food and very good service. Typical Tyrolean food with great attention to details. The place helps to keep old recipes and traditions alive. The lovely lady that seems to be the owner speaks multiple languages, sit the customers, fix the tables(literally) and takes the orders. The young waiter and waitress are very polite and friendly.

The hotel stay itself was great. Lack of amenities, yes, but that is not what you book this hotel for. The decor itself is nice. Lots of place for you to hike nearby. Food wise, it is great overall. Their desert buffet, their appetizers and breakfast were fantastic. However, their main courses were sorely disappointing, not sure how they messed up on that one multiple times. Great hotel! Staff was very friendly and helpful, check in was quick, room had everything we needed and was clean. The view of the mountains from the balcony was spectacular. Breakfast had what you needed, standard European continental but could get eggs made to order. Easy free parking - location was very close to the town centre but just outside, could be be walkable but we didn’t feel entirely safe...

We had a wonderful time during our two night stay here. We had breakfast and dinner here both days, and the food was absolutely delicious. I stayed in this lovely family-run hotel in June 2025 as part of a group hiking tour. We were greeted by the very friendly owner who was very approachable and helpful during our stay. The hotel is kept very clean, has nice restaurant and bar/lounge areas as well as outdoor seating with beautiful views of the surrounding Dolomites. We stayed here for 2 nights at the start and end of our hike in the Dolomites. During our first stay we had a lovely room and had dinner shortly after arriving. The dinner was fantastic and included a buffet of breads, meats and cheeses followed by 3 courses. Marsei, the inn keeper, was wonderful and helped us with our upcoming hike. The hotel is located practically in the center of Dobbiaco, but also close to the slopes. In front of the structure there is a bus stop that takes you comfortably to Lake Braies even in less time than it would take by car and in total safety. Furthermore, the hotel offers a free pass valid for one week to travel by public transport to the entire area: well done. Before accessing, I asked for a bottle...

It's a shame that the week of good weather didn't allow us to take advantage of the spa. However, the hotel is discreet, the rooms are quite comfortable, the owners and staff are very kind. There were some flaws in the breakfast and the buffet which were not replenished when necessary. Free parking but with insufficient spaces when the hotel is full However, quite satisfied.

Gluten free pizza and gluten free beer!😄 Great "normal" pizzas, thin, nice crusts and good sauce. (Lots of origano, so ask to leave off, if you don't like it.) Friendly service. Good price. Entrance 10 meters from the bus stop of the SAD Cortina-Dobbiaco bus, then only a 10-minute walk to the Dobbiaco train station.

The rooms are spacious and well kept. We had a balcony with a nice view. The first night we had to wait for a table in the restaurant but is was worthwhile. The food is good and served in a fine atmosphere. Staff works really hard to serve all clients. We never ate at another restaurant.
