I didn’t stay in this hotel, but visited their spa and it was one of the best spas I visited! Probably the best in Dolomites in terms of service, facilities, design, quality, views and overall feeling. I was also able to use the gym, which was included in the spa fee, so I was beyond happy! Great location with spa pool facing mountains. Pool was open for most of the day. Very large spa, but note that you are required to be naked in saunas which may come as a shock for some cultures. Room standard was OK (stayed in the annex) but not more. Food was nice, and staff were generally attentive. Would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for relaxing stay.

The location, atmosphere, decoration, personnel and especially wellness area are really exceptional. I'd maybe prefer a bit bigger choice of vegetables at breakfast and not so "fancy" dinner menus. But I think that's just my personal preference 😉

We have stayed at the "Berghotel" several times- over a period of 28 years and always enjoyed our days in Sexten tremendously! The food has always been excellent - in particular the breakfast is a treat! This time we invited kids and grandkids over Xmas 2021 and enjoyed great skiing and Holzer's "treats" . Nice hotel in the vicinity of the ski lift, 5 min by foot. Unfortunately, connecting ski slope was not in function. Skipass can be bought at the reception. Great Hotel! Nice decor, spotless. The personnel is cordial and efficient creating a cozy environment with being intrusive. There is a very nice warm pool and a garden with a breathtaking view of the Dolomiti. The wifi is free and fast enough to be useful. This is a great place to book ski lessons. Great instructors, and great language skills (Italian, German, English) The food in the restaurant it's is amazing quality, and for a good price. The staff is friendly and helpful. For skiing, the slopes are nice to start of with. A baby slope, a blue slope, and a red one. There are connections to other slopes in the area.

Lovely campsite, great facilities, clean toilets and showers and a really nice on site shop. Only went to the Taverna restaurant which was really good value and great food. Location of the site is great for walking with beautiful views of the mountains. Campsite is big though, we changed our pitch to one that was a bit more private and the lady at reception was more than happy to help.

We stayed at CaravanPark Sexten with our kids. The area is beautiful. We enjoyed staying there. Our kids loved the swimming pool area with a small beach. The outdoor playground area is pretty poor. Return visit to this superb site in an equally stunning setting. Expensive, but generally worth it though 2017 stay was marred by noise (disco and rowdy guests) until 12.30, 01.00, 2.00 and 03.00 on 4 separate nights due to weddings and other events organised in the middle of the Premium Pitches. Frankly, disrespectful to guests paying a premium to stay in a first class mountain spa resort. 3 stars...

I stayed here for 5 nights with my family, we had a great time: the location is probably the best in San Candido because you have the tranquility but also the convenience of the center (only 5 minutes on foot). We had a brief stop at Waldheim on our way to Switzerland. It’s situated in a beautiful area of Sexten with amazing views of high mountain tops in the area. Our family had until now the best winter ski vacation at Waldheim. The friendliness of the staff is amazing, they make you feel as if you are at your grandma. I highly recommend this lodging! Fantastic stay in sept 2020! Be took a rest day here after 4 hard hiking/farratta days...Our double room was very clean had a very comfortable bed and pillow. Breakfast and dinner were both great. The location for us was perfect with the bus stop to both the train and trailhead right next door. Grocery and ATM next door also! The staff was very friendly :)
