Hotels in Tonale

We stayed here for a week and it was perfect! My only small suggestion for improvement would be having tea facilities by default in all of the rooms. I asked about this and was told that you have to pay a small deposit to have the tea facilities in your room, but they don’t provide any milk. This obviously isn’t enough of an issue to be hesitant about booking this hotel, we loved it and would consider...

Great hotel, right next to the slopes (via the 30ft staircase) rooms are cleaned & fresh towels everyday. Food is good and staff friendly, they were really great with us. Creche & kids club is fantastic. Had a great time here and will definitely stay again if in the area.

Most definitely not a 5-star hotel, on any level. Good location, facilities, ski hire and locker room in hotel. Lovely views on either side (but not from all rooms) both day and night. Away from shops. Awful queues to get into the ski hire shop for either fitting or collecting unless you go on as early as possible on your first day, before breakfast. Very good but Restaurant not really 5 star and can be very busy.

Great place, missing bins though

Poor WiFi in the hotel, even at the reception. Loud kids from the UK shouting, banging the doors, etc. The dinners are sometimes excellent!

We stayed here over Xmas. The staff are lovely can't do enough for you bar staff are fab. Room was lovely and clean . Heating would have been nice if it was on when we got there but it comes on thru night not sure why. Our room view was stunning over looking the glazier. When you arrive you are dropped off on road because the buses can't get to hotel so you have to walk across a field in the snow...

Probably italian standard. In comparison with similar hotels in Austria worse service.

Quality of rooms and stuff working there was good. Very clean and nice but for me food wasn't so good (personal opinion- don't like Italian kitchen).

Great place to stay for skiing

Rather old hotel with rather old-style furniture. Nicely located. We have to admit that Piandineve has great restaurant with delicious food ! Overall we were quite confused and probably not choose this hotel again.

A great 4 star plus hotel. We booked our ski holiday through Crystal Ski. Our rooms were clean, modern and warm. In fact one of the rooms was too hot. Breakfast is great. Dinner was OK. Loved the modern spa area. Steam room was excellent but sauna, pool and jacuzzi were far too cold. Hotel is at the end of the resort but around 5 mins walk from one of the lifts which can be used to then ski down to...

The room was big. Food was good. The service was great.

Modern well furnished hotel. Food is varied and excellent, including local specialities. There is a small swimming pool and indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis as well as steam room and sauna. Some rooms have balconies. A range of suites is available. Good for skiing, close to the slopes or easy access using the free shuttle bus. On the edge of the town which is a short walk away.

The staff (owners, waiters) are very helpful and kind. The food is very good, especially dinner. But the cakes in the morning are super. 6 minutes walk from the slopes (maybe 10 with the boots). We will be back for sure. Plus: soft play area for kids plus other activities (table tennis for example).

Nice hotel, but way to noisy in the dining room. We measured op to 93db at dinnertime. In the morning people have difficulty getting coffee and food.

100 stars would be just right! For nearly two decades, we've spent our spring vacations at Family Hotel Adamello, and it feels like a second home. Staff were lovely, Dinner was delicious and plenty, good selection of wines. Breakfast had a good variety of cooked, cold items. Rooms .we're good, too warm for my liking, but easy to turn down thermostate. Only downside was large ensuite, would have been better with a larger shower than the single cubicle. Also wouldn't it be great if they could convert bottom floor to contain spa/sauna/steam room...

I was there for one week. The staff are super friendly and nice. The rooms were clean and the view of our room was super beautiful. The meals are the strongest part as they are super good. My overall experience was amazing, and I will definitely go back.

Quirky, super friendly Italian family hotel and restaurant. Nice swimming pool and great wee bar. Proper local Italian atmosphere....the driver of the hotel ski bus is also the hotel comedian. A great place for a family holiday

Great service and pool and sauna set up ideal for the family.

Lovely hotel. Pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms are nice and clean. There’s a well-stocked and reasonably-priced bar, and the food in the restaurant is acceptable with great service. There’s a nice pool and “wellness centre” (bring your own swimming cap and towel or pay extra). Best feature - shuttle bus to and from the ski lifts - thank you so much! We would definitely stay here again.

The spa is great, and the ski-bus is amazing to have!

Staff were quite rude, perhaps the rudest we have experiences in resort. A simple smile would go along way! Had a perfect experience at this lovely hotel. The staff were delightful and always helpful. Food was excellent. Room was spacious and well-equipped. The spa is very well maintained, and the outdoors hot-tub is much fun. Ski room is good, has lockers and boot warmers (not in the lockers). Location is amazing! Price was unbeatable. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

We Just stopped for lunch while riding by bike. Rain, cold, we could enjoy covered bike parking and re-charge while having a tasty lunch. Very kind Indeed!!!!

It had a good room although it was a bit outdated also the food had its ups and downs as the meat was always a mystery , and when it would say it was one type of meat it could be another . Not to far from the moutons about a 8 minutes walk with ski boots on but without only about 5 minutes . Also near the bottom of the mountain there is a ski and snowboard hire .

Nice 3 stars hotel. Clean and nice service

This is a fantastic family run Albergo only a short walk from the slopes and lifts at Passo Tonale, the staff are all very friendly and helpful as are the owners who are always at hand to deal with any queries you may have. We spent 6 nights there, the good was second to none and very traditional Italian cuisine.

I stayed at the Hotel Angelo for 2 weeks and it was simply superb. Seamless check-in, nicely furnished rooms and a very convenient location. Every aspect exceeded my expectations. The dining was exceptional, and the staff's warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a memorable skiing vacation, I will definitely return!

This is a family run hotel of three generations, it is welcoming, friendly, and comfortable. It is close to the amenities in the resort including the ski lifts. The wellness centre is great to relax in after a hard days skiing. The family try to cater for different dietary needs including vegan. I’ve been going to this hotel for over 20 years and highly recommend it having stayed in several other hotels...

Very nice hotel with amazing vievs.

Good location, between two chair lifts (300 meters one and 400 the other), the rooms are comfortable, only a small fridge is missing to keep drinks cool. The meals are fair, the breakfast excellent. The skiroom is comfortable even though it is not possible to access it directly from the hotel. Nice and welcoming staff. I would go there again

They had some issues with the heating for the first 3 days of our stay Otherwise it is relatively close to the center of the ski area (5 minutes walk) They have a small breakfast buffet but with good quality of food

Price quality, great! Polite, friendly and helpful staff. The room was very cozy and romantic, fantastic mountain views Hotel near everything, downtown, slopes and half an hour from the park of the stelvio. I recommend to everyone, families and not .. We will definitely be back! Happy and glad I chose you!

This is my 8th visit of this hotel in last 10 years (= winter seasons) - that says it all! If not, I can say about that: beautiful hotel, really kind owners and staff, delicious food and drink... and of course really good place for skiing

Highly recommended! We were on a Motorcycle trip, and it was hot in the valley, so we wanted to stay high. We looked at several places in Town, but they were all closed as we were between Ski and summer season. We reluctantly headed down hill and saw the Bezzi! I have to say I am glad the places in town were closed!! Excellent place, excellent service, friendly staff, both Dinner and breakfast...

A great small hotel. The rooms are clean and simple. The bathroom was a little small but there was everything you needed. The bar was a nice size with a good choice of drinks. There was a good buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner were a bit simple but tasty and we'll cooked and tasty. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is a good ski room with a good boot dryer. The hotel is about 300mtrs...

As a 3 star hotel, it is fantastic! Food could be slightly better, but there is nothing bad with what they offer now. Great for families and other visitors. There is a shuttle from the hotel that goes to the main ski lifts, so walking in ski boots is not a worry. (ski equipment can be stored in the garage) Friendly staff, that are willing to help you however they can. As the whole town is not too...

- Location: perfect, all you need to do is to cross the street and you'll hit the lifts. They also have a large parking area and a garage in the basement. - Staff: they are great, always nice and helpful. - Room: 3rd floor, no elevator, extra-small bathroom, old furniture all around, I'd say really insufficient. Still, it was adequately clean. - Food: fair enough.

Friendly staff, but a bit dated infrastructure. Good for groups, but would not recommend for a family or romantic holiday. Also don't expect to much from the breakfast buffet. There is no variation. The evening dinner is also not very special, although every person will find there choice in the menu. There is also a salad bar every evening.

Great hotel with a very understanding owner who welcomes feedback in order to continuously improve the service provided to his guests. The food is good, especially considering the large number of guests—in our case, 88 people—which is not always easy to cater for. If you are traveling in a group, I highly recommend booking your stay at La Roccia, as it is conveniently located close to the ski lift...

yesterday 4 people at my table did NOT get any food in the evening, simply because there was not a lot of food on the table. Also the portions are way to small for us, when we were skiing all of us were hungry. The portions weren’t even the same size, one person got double the amount of the other. Rooms were great👍

Went skiing and stayed here. It is in a great location, walking distance from the midpoint for the gondola to the slopes. There is parking out the front of the hotel. Rooms are comfortable with plenty of light from the large windows. These can be covered with blinds to black out the room if required. Beds are super narrow, which was an issue for me as I am broad shouldered. Rolling over in the night...

Stayed a night here for a ski trip. Room was very good and breakfast included was nice. Staff very friendly and easy going. Accommodated us leaving a bag a little late to allow us to ski the morning before leaving. Very helpful.

It is a family hotel 🏨 and you can tell because the staff is really friendly and helpful. All is clean. You can use warm and nice smell ski room. One thing i missed is sauna and jacuzzi. It would be great outside and on wood fuel. Thank you 🙏 for nice stay and hospitality

Lovely family run hotel. Ski shuttle bus stops directly outside every 15 minutes and it's an easy very short trip to the pistes. Half board is an easy option and food is good and simple Italian. Mainly families staying here. Very friendly. Good clean ski room and a decent sauna, steam and jacuzzi. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Our visit here was great. We booked via Crystal who I was disappointed with, but our stay at HLL was great, I especially liked the having the sauna available. The staff never seem to sleep! They were always there no matter the time. Plus the manager was a great guy too.

Good food, nice staff, and cheap drinks at the hotel bar. Only complaints are that when the kids are here they run around screaming all day without any discipline, and the walls are paper thin

Good value hotel. Happy to go there again. Room are OK, but the room walls are very thin. Breakfast is very basic but OK if you are happy with cereals. Dinner is very good. They also have a good selection of local wines.

Hotel is perfectly located less than a 10 minute walk from the ski slopes. Very clean rooms, staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of food on offer for breakfast and dinner. Overall represents great value for money.

Not too bad for a budget hotel. Room decor was quite dated, and walls very thin - could hear our neighbours arguments 😀. Food was plentiful at both breakfast and evening meal. The only downside was that we almost had to share a table with another couple as there weren't enough tables to go around. Would really have expected them to have catered for one table per room. Location wise is pretty good...

Fantastic food. And fantastic helpful personal, great view, ski in ski out, Paulo is the best! And yes, old building, cold in windy nights, but if you don't want traditional Italian go somewhere else, and eat fastfood at McDonald's...

The food is lovely, and you certainly won't go hungry with the portion sizes. It's a quirky place, but could do with a bit of TLC and the beds are hard, but some people like that, unfortunately I'm not one of those people. It's situated a bit out of the town, but only takes 20mins to walk down. It's almost ski in ski out, be careful not to miss the turning!

We ate at the restaurant on the first night of our stay here, oh my gosh... The tagliatelle with boar ragout and truffle is simply OUT OF THIS WORLD and the only reason for the 5 star rating! We also tried the gnocchi, ravioli and deer dish, but in front of all that the tagliatelle took the crown! We ended up ordering it twice on the same night! And definitely try their tiramisu and house Pinot Grigio...

Great location and building history. Very close to the slopes. You can ski just from the hotel doors. Rooms very basic, need some improvement. Very nice jacuzzi and sauna facilities. Poor breakfast service is the down side of the hotel. Restaurant isn't great as well and needs a lot of improvement.

Friendly, family-run hotel. Special mention for the helpful Anila who's English was far better than our atrocious Italian. Good breakfast (including fresh scrambled/boiled eggs), 100m to ski lifts, clean & spacious rooms (for a ski resort) and handy boot room with ski lockers. Bar and chill area for pre-dinner drinks.

Excelent location (100m to lifts). A bit old-school but clean and cosy. Be sure to bring power adapters as there are only old power outlets (good for EU phone charger, but laptop charger won't fit).

Excellent hotel. Not new but absolutely spotless. Hotel middle in town very close to main ski lift. Breakfast good. Underground parking across street from hotel. English speaking and very friendly.

It's a basic hotel, so don't expect luxurious rooms or breakfast, but it does have a good ski locker room with heating and very nice Jacuzzi & sauna. The people are very helpful and friendly. Last but not least, it's a very short walking distance of the ski elevator that is just behind the hotel.
