Hotel Piandineve

Great hotel for skiers. We spent our second holidays here and probably will come again. Close to the slopes, with magnificent view on the glacier. Very good service, nice animations for kids. Food is ok except scrambled eggs😉.

This is a great value hotel for a ski holiday.
Rooms were comfortable and spacious.
Beds were ok, I slept fine.
The shower is visible from the bedroom.
It’s frosted glass in the middle, but if staying in a twin could feel a little weird with your mate there.
Beds and towels changed every day.
Tip: bring a travel kettle if you want tea and/or coffee.
You have a mini fridge in your room for milk if needed.
The negative for me would be how thin the walls are. Either hearing people next door or out in the corridor.
Food was good, dinners were always something different.
Shame you don’t get drinks included or even water.
Tip: the water on your dinner table is not free.
Soft drinks, small glass €3.50 and bottle of Peroni €4 330ml.
Breakfast was the same every day, but was ok. Good coffee or expresso for breakfast.
The locker room was spacious. Wouldn’t say heated, but was warmer than outside.
Plenty of space to get ready and the locker key you will need €5 for the deposit.
I wouldn’t say you can ski in or out.
But you can have a very small walk from the black run.
And a short walk to the bottom of the chair lifts across the road.
Town is minutes up the road. Takes about 7 to 9 minutes to walk to Spar mini supermarket.
I’d come back here.
Wifi was fine on the 3rd floor, no issues.

We stayed here over Xmas. The staff are lovely can't do enough for you bar staff are fab. Room was lovely and clean . Heating would have been nice if it was on when we got there but it comes on thru night not sure why. Our room view was stunning over looking the glazier. When you arrive you are dropped off on road because the buses can't get to hotel so you have to walk across a field in the snow so wear boots or snow boots. Hotel is really big two bars. The American one down stairs opens at four. Till late with entertainment. There is a play area for the children. In the rooms no tea or coffee we took our own travel kettle and tea and coffee. To charge your phones you have to take the lamp plugs out. Our room had a shower would have loved a bath tho. Restaurant now choice of cooked food not the best. Continental tho was loads. Evening meal have to say disappointing the salad choice fab and desserts. But the cooked food not brill. Water on the tables well we was unsure to drink it or not. Then we had money back at the end so not sure why. Only had chips once now with children there I thought not much choice for kids. Not all children like pasta. The dessert are to die for stunning. Crystal ski say its 3 min walk to slopes its not if your having lessons its over ten mins to walk back up the road to find your ski school. On our third day we was lucky to get a locker in the ski shop by the magic carpets. Skidoo is fab we did this. Overall we deft will come back to the hotel xmas eve was great for kids santa fireworks. Well done. Entertainment staff also work hard and very friendly.

Quality of rooms and stuff working there was good. Very clean and nice but for me food wasn't so good (personal opinion- don't like Italian kitchen).
