It’s not every day you stay in an old convent! Beautiful hotel with a fantastic location by the sea in Trani with a view of the harbour and cathedral. The staff were very helpful particularly Alfonso who gave us his parking space by the hotel when he finished his shift!
The decor and bathrooms are a bit dated - huge rooms and bathrooms which would easily fit a walk in shower rather than a shower over the bath - but that did not detract from our wonderful one night stay here in May

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is right on the marina and within walking distance of nearby restaurants. Trani is not a "tourist" town, but what you will find are excellent restaurants and the freshest of seafood. The hotel is dated, but our room was huge. The only downside was that they had already switched off the cooling system so our room was quite warm. The breakfast is only okay. They have a wide selection, but they do not rotate and refresh items quickly enough. We were able to park right in front of the hotel which was perfect. For the price this is a good choice.

Amazing location, right on the Trani Marina. Old charming building, but a bit tired. It could use and upgrade. OK service, for the price.

Perfect location on the marina of Trani, with a stunning view of the whole harbor just out of the window. The building is what you would expect from a convent, the rooms are big, bathrooms are tired, the service does the job.

We came to a hotel with fantastic historic rooms, wonderful staff, quiet surroundings and a beautiful view to the harbour. Big and clean rooms - and also a fridge. Aircondition was very nice in this warm season. For couples and groups it is a fantastic place to stay. It is not many facilities for children, so we think this place is most convinient for adults. We give this hotel the highest recommendation.

It's beautiful and for people attending the VIS conference it is extremely convenient. The staff are very helpful and the atmosphere is positive.
However ... the world has moved along, and I would have appreciated a kettle to make tea and a coffee maker -- these are standard items in an upscale hotel. A mini fridge would be nice as well, and a source of revenue for the hotel.
Having said this, I will book a room for VIS 2016!

Beautifully located Hotel right on the Trani Harbor next to the Public Gardens - A former Convent tastefully reimagined into a lovely boutique hotel with grand size rooms with equally large Baths and a beautiful lobby and breakfast area -and a lovely cloister lounge are - can't go wrong with this Hotel

Last week,we sent a group of retirees from the city of Netanya in Israel stayed at the hotel.
I would like to thank the hotel for the dedicated service, the kindness, the beautiful and clean rooms, the delicious food at breakfast and dinner and the location... amazing.
