The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable, the breakfast is good, the dinner is delicious with an acceptable, not too high price. The staff is friendly and professional. The location is good (next to the highway) for passing travelers, the downside is that you practically have to use a car or some other means of transport to get to the nearest town, Torre al mare. However, you can use the free van provided by the hotel, which runs several times a day. In short, the hotel is good for a multi-day stay.

The hotel is located directly on the highway. Has enough parking spaces so that you don't have to make a reservation. The rooms are a bit dated and I personally don't like the tiles in the room at all.... The view in the restaurant is very nice and makes the morning very pleasant. The staff was also very friendly, definitely recommendable, price performance top.

We stayed here for 7 nights, family of four with two toddlers. The hotel is a great location for discovering the surrounding beautiful sites. There is a shuttle service by the hotel to take us to Tore A Mare station and Bari which was very handy for us as we didn't have a car. We dined in the restaurant most nights. Great food and staff are very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast at the 6th floor balcony overlooking the sea was enjoyable. Our two boys enjoyed the attention they received from staff.

Super nice and comfortable room. The only inconvenience we had was that the location is bad unless you have a car. BUT, they offer free shuttle service to and from torre a mare station, and the trains are well functioning around the puglia area, so definitely use this service if you don’t plan on renting a car. The food is expensive for what you get, so we prefered to eat out in the city.

First, the staffs can hardly speak english. Second, the location of the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, where there are no convenience stores/super market/ or public transport nearby. You’re pretty much stuck in the hotel. I would say it is only suitable for A NIGHT stay for layover but definitely not for leisure purposes because of the in-room facility and the service that is far from a 4 stars hotel. We have requested a non-smoking room but ended up assigning to one of the room with the very strong smell of cigarets. We asked the reception for a change of room, but they told us right away that the hotel is fully booked without even checking it. We’ve asked for a water boiler and they took more than 30mins and 3 phone calls until they have showed up. And there’s no bath tub for a 4 stars hotel? Shame. So, if you have any other options, you should go for it instead of this hotel. Highly not recommended at all.

Hotel BARION is a clean hotel with an excellent breakfast offering local dishes and a big variety of food and drinks. Its location is remote and there is no public transport, strolling around is impossible and at your own risk. External amenities could be taken more care of (watering of flowers, outside cafe...). Staff is fine and kind, although applying double standards - pay attention to prices of shuttle bus.

This hotel is an excellent base for exploring the surroundings of Bari and Puglia.
A delicious breakfast on the upper floor offers a wonderful view of the sea.
I appreciate the possibility of parking. I also praise the service and the staff.
We rate our family stay for two nights as excellent.

+ Reception staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, espresso was offered as soon as we finished the check-in. staff gave lots of helpful recommendations for Bari. rooms were serviced daily and professionally. The hotel owner made recommendation for a nearby restaurant and led us personally to it. very much appreciated - he didn't have to do it!- Location requires a car to get around.

The location is awesome, with free parking in front of the Hotel. The staff is very helpful and is exceeding expectations. The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast area as well, very open, comfortable, with excellent staff and food choice.

I really enjoyed my stay at Barion Hotel, I have stayed there for 1 week at my visit to Italy, the food was so delicious and the hotel is very clean and organized, I recommend booking there.
