Executive Business Hotel

0 stars the big lady at the front desk whas not welcoming and not very nice. Asking her something and mid conversation changing her story whas very unpleasant. I hope she reads this and works on her additude. We left and booked another hotel Instead where we felt welcome.

this hotel is absolutely awful! the rooms are not cleaned, the towels or sheets are not changed. it's the same cleaning woman who also takes care of breakfast. the breakfast is terrible, two types of salami and cheese and 3 croissants. there is no diversification. hot water is limited by a 5l boiler. if you have finished the water you have to wait 1 hour for hot water to come again. the heat is turned off every morning. and it was very cold in the room. the staff is very noisy, we stayed on the 1st floor and you could hear them screaming. this hotel was the worst experience of my life. I do not recommend you to come here. we stayed 3 nights and it was way too much. there is no spa or fitness room, and there is no restaurant. the bed moves if two people are leaning on it. as well as position, the hotel is well located, but you can certainly find other much better hotels in the area. this one is crappy and way too old.

Absolutely do not stay here as a single female/solo traveller - their receptionist Alessandro very well may prey on you like he did my friend. After he checked her into the hotel, later that night, she received an Instagram request and message from Alessandro asking if she'd gone to bed yet with a winky faced emoji and calling her beautiful... She of course began to feel extremely unsafe and uncomfortable due to this man's behaviour. Upon her relaying this information back to the hotel (with screenshot evidence of his message and Instagram account, which even states he works at the mentioned hotel), Daniela, the front desk manager, insinuated my friend was a liar and that her staff would never act inappropriately or cross any such boundary, and refused to address the matter any further. This place is absolutely disgraceful in terms of professionalism, basic standards, and measures taken in order to ensure their guest's safety. I would not recommend anyone taking the risk staying here at all.

This is certainly not a quiet place. Poor sound insulation means you hear a lot of movement at all hours inside the rooms and in the hallways. The hotel is right next to a very busy street and the windows do not close well. The fridge in the room ( no minibar, just a mini fridge) and the air conditioning are also quite noisy.
The place also shows signs of aging: the floor and walls are scratched and have spots, doors no longer close well, bathroom fan was not functional ( no window ). The hotel could definitely use more maintenance.
Overall, I was disappointed with the experience in a worldwide hotel chain. Will avoid Best Western establishments in the future.
Plus sides: good location that's close to the old town, the cruise terminal, the central bus/train station. Staff was also friendly and helpful.
