Amazing service, lovely rooms with a nice pool to relax by. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Martina and the team tended to our every need and we truly felt special staying here as if we were part of the family. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant La Laconda on the hotel grounds was an amazing dining experience. We will be back again!

Thanks again to the Pandullo family for being so accommodating in absolutely every way. Accommodation, food, service and hospitality deserves a 6- star rating compared to others we have been to. Simply the best and openly recommend to everybody.

Located a few minutes from the center of Tropea and 10 'from the beaches, it offers studios equipped with all comforts. Excellent value for money. The only drawback there is no liquid soap (perhaps due to anti-COVID rules). Staff very kind and helpful.

We stayed in a studio apartment with attention to the smallest details. Impeccable cleanliness. Quiet area a step away from the center of Tropea. Kitchenette on the balcony, complete with everything, comfortable and sea view. Just spectacular!

Stayed for 11 days at la roccette mare at the end of June. We booked a hotel room, but got an apartment instead. Location, location ,location ... All the rest is average . There's no park inside the hotel , but you can use the street , and park "caves" right in front of the hotel . The sand and the beach is amazing

Gorgeous beach and service! Incredible views of the Riaci beach from the dining area and bar! Beach was packed and crowded the day that I went, but I could see why! The water was crystal clear and and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous of the enormous rocks behind the beach.

Nice hotel, great location for town centre, clean & with its own private access to beaches below via a vertiginous stairway down from the hotel. NOT for fainthearted though, given its vertigo-inducing gradient. Breakfast is poor, terrible coffee from a Nescafe machine, always breaking down & with queue of guests to get coffees, & limited choice. Never had scrambled eggs as poor.

Nice cosy place. Owner is nice but be a bit patient. In the winter time he was the only one there so he has quite much to handle. Breakfast is decent: butter, cheese, ham, sweet stuff and fruits. Rooms are decently sized, pretty clean. Access to the sea is good. Overall would recomend but do not expect luxury.

The small hotel was clean and in fairly good condition. Rooms are of variable size. Hotel staff was helpful though slightly lacking in language skills. Location is ok but it tends to mean frequent excercise to the old center on top of the hill.

Ottimo bread and breakfast

My general experience was around or a bit below 4* - the hotel location is okay (close to the centre and to the railway station, but no nice views around), old but clean furniture, comfortable beds with uncomfortable pillows. Street noise was quite noticeable, earplugs were needed. Breakfast was okay, too. I'm giving the 5th star for the courtesy and kindness of the hotel staff :) thanks!

Great location, close to everything, and the restaurant attached was absolutely fantastic! All was great except for the toilet issues, it would flush and not stop and sound like it was going to fall through the floor. Otherwise having access to a van to get to the beach was nice after a long day in the sun, and it was a nice atmosphere, quiet and just off the busy road so not loud at night with people...

Big bang for your buck. This gem offers excellent food, outstanding service and breathtaking views. The rooms are modern and well kept but the building's envelope needs some major work. The staff is particularly special, I was sad to have witnessed 3 extremely talented staff members quit due to poor ownership. Owners must do better, Valemare deserves the world. Will come back.

As I understood it’s family runned business. They stuff is very kind , however doesn’t speak well English . The location - if you are arriving by car - no issue , however google maps might say you a wrong address as it happened to me. Low cost accomodation option in tropea with pretty dated and super tiny bathrooms. It was actually difficult to get into the shower in our room as it was so petite. Breakfast very simple. We have recently had a long weekend in La Perla hotel , our room was not ready so we were given an up grade room . Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice. Staff were warm and friendly, spoke English only to happy to help. We will definitely go back and stay again ?
