Big rooms and nice pool I would have given 5 stars but our AC was broken... Hotel is on a hill so expect to walk a decent amount into town. The shuttle is $30 to the beach.

Lovely pool. Staff are excellent: helpful and friendly. Everywhere is spotless. Room and breakfast were ok. Had to reserve spaces on the minibus to the partner beach (Lido Alex) the day before. We stayed 7 days not 3 like many. The place is beautiful. The service is very bad. We are thinking that it was because we are Americans. The staff did reservations at the beaches for other people but not for us. I will go back to Tropea, it’s amazing, but not to this hotel. It’s a pity because the hotel is beautiful.

One great place. 11 rooms with a maximum of 22 guests. The old monastery from the 1700s has come back to life. The grounds are impressive as well as the views. The staff work very hard to make you feel comfortable. Good swimming pool. Great food and amazing architecture. I will definitely return.

Tropea is a wonderful small town with beautiful historic buildings. The beach is clean and the colour of the water is turquoise. Breakfast had a great choice of foods. Hotel is very good, friendly staff and a great view on the beach. Room was comfy and the AC worked well.

I spent a very relaxing week at Hotel Rocca Della Sena in Tropea. The location could not been better, very close to the historic town centre yet very quiet. The terrace has a superb view to the sea. Breakfast was lovely, varied, and the staff extremely friendly and professional. It was a pleasure to spend time there and I will certainly be back with the family or alone!

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Tropea. I have celiac disease so it's always lovely when a place can accommodate you without worry. The staff at the hotel and restaurant went out of their way to make sure everything I ate was safe and that I had options. The dinner was fantastic. Located a few minutes from the center of Tropea and 10 'from the beaches, it offers studios equipped with all comforts. Excellent value for money. The only drawback there is no liquid soap (perhaps due to anti-COVID rules). Staff very kind and helpful.

Fantastic staff, really friendly and welcoming. Always helpful. Relaxing environment. Great breakfast options in the morning and great food at the restaurant in the evening. Provided transfers whenever needed, which were always reliable; this as a lone traveller was a fantastic bonus as it provided me with a safe, reliable and affordable way to explore the area.

The hotel is nice, reception staff let us check in earlier but they tried to charge us €20 to borrow beach towels.. what hotel charges for beach towels in Tropea??? Not even a deposit, the full amount just to use a towel for a couple hours and return it… cheaper to buy a new one and keep it.

Really nice B&B! Very clean and tastefully decorated rooms. The breakfast was very, very tasty! The owners are very attentive and helpful, we got lots of tips for things to do in the area. The accommodation is located outside the city center, but can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommended!

I don't have anything better than simply perfect! we loved this B&B and Pietro was very kind and helpful with us... he recommended places and restaurants to go and helped my husband with a surprise to my birthday at breakfast and speaking about the breakfast, it was amazing, the quality of the food and flavor... It is a newly renovated B&B; it is SUPER clean and neat! The owner has thought about every detail to make you feel comfortable during your stay. He is also very friendly and helpful; he gave a big list of things to do or see in and around Tropea! A big plus is that they have different menus for breakfast, which they make fresh in the morning.

The small hotel was clean and in fairly good condition. Rooms are of variable size. Hotel staff was helpful though slightly lacking in language skills. Location is ok but it tends to mean frequent excercise to the old center on top of the hill.

My general experience was around or a bit below 4* - the hotel location is okay (close to the centre and to the railway station, but no nice views around), old but clean furniture, comfortable beds with uncomfortable pillows. All was great except for the toilet issues, it would flush and not stop and sound like it was going to fall through the floor. Nice hotel, great location for town centre, clean & with its own private access to beaches below via a vertiginous stairway down from the hotel. NOT for fainthearted though, given its vertigo-inducing gradient. Breakfast is poor, terrible coffee from a Nescafe machine, always breaking down & with queue of guests to get coffees, & limited choice. Never had scrambled eggs as poor.

Amazing service, lovely rooms with a nice pool to relax by. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Martina and the team tended to our every need and we truly felt special staying here as if we were part of the family. Gorgeous beach and service! Incredible views of the Riaci beach from the dining area and bar! Beach was packed and crowded the day that I went, but I could see why! The water was crystal clear and and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous of the enormous rocks behind the beach.
