Hotels with beach in Tropea

The hotel has a beautiful pool, ideal for families, and the beach has a stunning restaurant overlooking the water, lots of sun beds and there is a little shop with everything you could need during the stay (floaties, sunscreen, flip flops etc)

It sits atop a high cliff, with an elevator that takes you down to the hotel's private beach (there’s a hotel's beach bar offering drinks, pizza, pasta, etc. The hotel's garden is large and exceptionally well-maintained

This hotel is completely over rated! The food is horrible and the free alcohol is watered down. The pools are not heated including the hot tubs. The beach has no sand just sharp rocks

Emilia was with me when i felt the most alone and the junior club with both of them made me feel included in a group of italians. If i was to visit this hotel again they both would be the thing i look forward the most

When I came to the hotel I thought that i would be alone the whole trip and have almost no fun at all. That completely changed when i started talking to emilia and caterina

They made me feel very welcome and tried to translate italian for me when i could not understand

The staff was super nice and service altogether was wonderful! Breakfast was very good. You won’t leave hungry :) We also enjoyed dinners: simple and tasty! They provide rides to the beach that takes about 5 min

Great location just steps away from the main walkway through the town of Tropea. Quiet, nice pool, variety of food at breakfast and pleasant staff!! Would stay here again and recommend to my friends in Canada.🇨🇦

Big rooms and nice pool I would have given 5 stars but our AC was broken... Hotel is on a hill so expect to walk a decent amount into town. The shuttle is $30 to the beach.

They charged 2 euros to go to the gym which makes no sense. They charge to rent towels for the beach and they charged for waters in the rooms. Essentially a tourist trap but not really

As a resort, there really was nothing “resort” about it. They proposed charging a “resort fee,” plus charging for pool towels and charging to use the gym

We stayed in a room with a sea view, a gorgeous view. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, but acceptable. The only thing is that there was no free water in the room

We loved our stay at Hotel Borgo Di Santa Barbara. Easily communicated with hotel manager Martina throughout the duration of our stay through WhatsApp - scheduling transit and shuttles from Aurelio (staff)

They were extremely nice our entire stay. The restaurant located on the property La Locanda was amazing, great food, nice and quiet patio outside. Would recommend staying here and would come back!

You can relax by the pool or head to Tropea beach, which is just a short drive away. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a variety of options, many of them homemade

The family who owns and runs the hotel is incredibly welcoming and their hospitality really stands out. Everything was also very clean and well taken care of. We had such a wonderful stay and would love to return someday

We stayed for two weeks in July. Quiet place, five minutes by car from Tropea and within easy reach of all the most beautiful beaches in the area from Capo Vaticano to Zambrone

We had to stay at this property unexpectedly after our other accommodations fell through and we discovered a gem! The owner greeted us and checked us in early upon arrival

You MUST have a car if you don't want to have a hicking vacation (even to the nearest beach you have 20 min hardcore hicking, use rentalcars app and do the booking online, for 10 days new Fiat Panda 2018 is 170 euro normal insurance 320 premium insurance) 2

There are no wasps and mosquitos or any other flying insects but sometimes there are jellyfish in the sea. Calabria is a summer resort for Italians, you can see a few tourists but it is not overcrowded

A shuttle service goes to and from the nearest beach, but we decided to go the 15-minutes-walk by foot. Tropea also is at a walkable distance

The hotel is on a very good location in a small village Santa Domenica which is located just next to the main city in that part of Calabria - Tropea

We came there at 9AM and the room was already ready so we could immediately unpack and go to the nearest beach. Three main things considering Calabria : 1

The rooms are new and very good but three things that need to be changed are new wardrobes new beds and room needs a small fridge. You can ask them to put your water in the fridge in the kitchen

The bathroom had terrible ventilation and smelt like stale water. We could also hear the people above us moving around so loudly and when we asked to move, the lady said she’d organise it tomorrow and never did

We felt welcome and safe the entire time. My only suggestion would be to update the rooms, as they were somewhat outdated. The patios should have updated furniture and the mattresses were uncomfortable

The staff was absolutely amazing. Pierro was so hospitable and kind. The buffet dinner and breakfast was top notch. The shuttle transfers were very convenient. Graziano was a friendly driver

Overall, the proximity to the town was a plus. We would definitely recommend

We kept having to go to the front for whatever we needed and half the time the staff didn't even fulfill our request. They said they would fix the phone and didn't. Antonio was nice to help with our luggage

I don't understand the glowing reviews here. Our room was old and didn't look like the pictures. The linens were soiled and the phone didn't work

Really cozy, nice, superclean & luxurious accomodation ...the owners super helpful, close to all daily needs, just what you need for a complete holiday in Tropea, the gem of the Thyrrenian sea ...highly recommend !

The fridge was stocked with food and drinks each for a small charge. The location is great: 10 mins from beach and 5 mins from a supermarket about 15 mins from the town centre

Romy picked us up from the train station and took us back when we left. She also supplied a huge breakfast for us free of charge (and catered to our vegan diet)

I was really impressed by the apartment with a beautiful sea view. The staff were very kindly, friendly and helpful for giving us more informations about Tropea habits. The breakfast was medium. Not so diversified.

Hotel is bright and clean and beautifully decorated

The breakfast is plentiful (perhaps only a homemade cake is missing), the terrace is beautiful. Availability of beach very close and of sun beds and umbrellas in agreement in a more distant beach

But, beyond this, we will return above all because to these qualities is added a truly extraordinary kindness of the owners, careful to remember with grace the rules to be respected, sensitive to every need of the visitor, available, friendly, competent, even in the sector

The structure, far from the chaos of the main tourist center of the area, Tropea, is in an ideal position to reach very easily all places of interest. The rooms are clean, equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans

catering where I hope they can again brilliantly operate. In short, I highly recommend it !!!!!

We have recently had a long weekend in La Perla hotel , our room was not ready so we were given an up grade room. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice. Staff were warm and friendly, spoke English only to happy to help

The shower was very small so someone who is a little on the bigger side might have an issue with that. However the staff was pleasant and I would go again just for the cheap price

The room did not have a refrigerator which may be an issue for some people, but if your staying for two nights you will probably be eating out anyways

The room has a fridge with a bottle of water, also a very well stocked kitchen, the bathroom is stocked with towels and sea salt shampoo and body wash

Located a few minutes from the center of Tropea and 10 'from the beaches, it offers studios equipped with all comforts. The only drawback there is no liquid soap (perhaps due to anti-COVID rules)

I don't have enough stars to give to Stefania and her hospitality but also for the nice and detailed taste for the furniture and cleaning The room is as you can see in the photos, cleanliness is at the next level

We stayed in a studio apartment with attention to the smallest details. Quiet area a step away from the center of Tropea. Kitchenette on the balcony, complete with everything, comfortable and sea view

B&b with an excellent quality/price ratio, managed by very kind owners, staff who are always helpful and welcoming!! rooms and cleanliness top! once you arrive you no longer need to use the car, you can do everything on foot, you are a stone's throw from the centre, the area is served by everything!! My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights october 5th and 6th and had a great stay. The rooms are clean, modern, and well appointed and the owners are two of the nicest people I have ever met

Breakfast was great and upon an early checkout, as we were headed to catch a bus, we were given a breakfast/lunch to take with us. I would highly recommend this hotel

We were actually not looking for a b&b and booked it by mistake but in the end it turned nice. The views are very nice, accomodationds decent enough. There were parts we liked less

The location is great, very close to all the restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The rooms are very clean and have great sound isolation to the main street noises

they even provided gluten free toast and bread upon learning my wife is allergic. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach and it's surrounded by the best restaurants in town

The most amazing experience was the breakfast, with authentic italian cappuccino, fresh croissants, cheese, prosciutto crudo and cotto, yoghurt, fruit juice, cake, bread rolls

They really show they care about their guests and you can see they love what they do. I stayed at the Sirene room and found it to be spacious, comfortable and sparkling clean

We loved our stay at the Casa del Sole in central Tropea. Eugenia, the host, is super friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent for both Centro Storico and the beach

The spacious room with every comfort, fridge, air conditioning, hairdryer and ceiling fans. Eugenia, the owner, pampered us and made us feel at home throughout our holiday. We couldn't have been luckier

Eugenia goes out of her way to make sure you are taken care of. She brings breakfast to your room. There are stairs but my wife was ok when the m and she uses a cane. Highly recommend this small BB

Great location right in the center of town. 100 meters from an ATM plus a fine restaurant, Little Italy. They do a very fine risotto, as fine as we find up north

Two blocks from the Central Square. Avoids the hustle, bustle and noise from it, but has very close access. The beach is 2/10 of a mile away. Our room was off a beautifully landscaped courtyard

If you're lucky you may get one of the few parking spots right outside the front door, otherwise parking in season could be a challenge

Exceptional standards and nothing less from this great B&B. A beautiful courtyard to start your day with breakfast. As a couple our Room was very comfortable and a good size ,We did see families here also

Nice little garden to hang out in after coming back in the late afternoons. Friendly straff. Clean nice relatively large room.

I stayed in this wonderful structure with some friends, the service is more than excellent, the kindness and generosity of the guys exceeds all expectations

In addition, when the boys learned that our train was in the late afternoon, they also took our bags to the station so that we would not carry them around the city. Beautiful experience I hope to be back soon

The location - if you are arriving by car - no issue , however google maps might say you a wrong address as it happened to me. Now if you are gonna walk it’s gonna be challenging as the road up is a bit steep
