Hotel Malibran

It was the worst hotel experience that I’ve ever had. The whole room was so dirty and needed a renovation, all the walls had spots or cracks, some furniture was broken, bathroom looked like it was after the war or something. I paid more than 100 euros per night beforehand and not in the summer, and I was expecting at least tidy room.

I asked if there is another room I can take, and manager offered me to pay extra for another room that looked cleaner. I thought I could even pay more but then I took a closer look and saw that there are a lot of black dirt in the shower reminding mold (I decided I don’t want to check it for extra money). Basically there was disgusting smell of must in the whole building, right from the entrance

Half of the stuff are unfriendly, and nobody cares about anything, the manager also said to my complaints that every room is more or less like that
I have no idea who puts positive reviews of this hotels, are you ok living with dirt, mold, scuffed walls and furniture?

And I’m not even talking about other things, for example, breakfast is ridiculous for a hotel that has their own restaurant, no hot dishes, overcooked greyish eggs, fruit salad that tastes like it was soaking for a day or two

small room but ok, but very small bathroom which was not ok at all, and when I say small I mean really small!

The room smelled really badly and one of the beds in the room was supported by a stool, which did not make me feel very safe. While laying on the beds you could feel the springs. The breakfast was okay, but nothing amazing. The same can be said about the bathroom.
