Lovely tiny hotel in the quiter part of Venice. It is in the best location between the Bus station and the St. Marc square. Nice staff. Simple breakfast.

Amazing staff, very friendly and willing to give advice. They have a lift which is so important when you have luggage to haul around, and the room was very neat and had a private balcony which I loved

The location of the hotel is good (20 min walk to the train station, 25 min to the bus station, 25 min to San Marco Plazza) but don't follow google maps to find the hotel, they got it wrong and you will end up far away!

The bathroom needs a bit of a renovation but other than that everything worked well and I had no problems. The staff were extremely friendly and made my solo trip very enjoyable. Breakfast was included and was good too

Good location in Cannaregio district. Lady on the reception was very helpful, we asked for help to get to Marco Polo airport and she printed the schedule of Alilaguna boats. The room we stayed in was tidy and cozy.

The air conditioning had been shut off and the heat was on in the room. We tried to get this rectify and the concierge gave us a fan for the duration of our stay which helped immensely

That just means your toilet and shower is in the hallway (as I suspect). Staff is friendly and helpful. Coffee and cappuccino are better than the outside bars, and in room refreshments are cheaper than outside bars

Had a great stay at Hotel Hesperia - we booked the room with the external bathroom, which at first we weren't sure about but went for it, but it was fine! The room was great - fantastic view over the canal, good size (as was the bathroom), and comfortable bed

Lots of eating and drinking options nearby too. Only downside was there was no kettle / tea or coffee facilities in the room, but not the end of the world. Good value for the location, I would recommend!

The hotel reception look after your door key while you are out, so you don't need to worry about that. They give 24 hour service, so they are always around if you need anything

The neighborhood is quiet and residential area. Bus number 5 leaves to and from Venice to reach here (Via compalto). Hotel staff is nice and willing to help. Risotto from the Cafe next to the hotel is highly recommended

It is located a few minutes walk from the Mestre train station, with easy options to go into Venice. The reseption was nice and informative. There is a shared bath room for 4 rooms, which was not a problem at all

If you're planning a trip to the historic, floating part of venice, it's a great place to stay: the train station is less than a 5 minute walk away, and costs €1. Lucia station (on the main island)

The payment for parking at the hotel (€6 / day) surprised us a little, but due to the proximity of Venice it is understandable

Very old hotel. The lady running the place was lovely. Breakfast, although not much on offer was actually quite suffice. Old, small rooms and bathrooms which are super outdated, closets a bust stop.

Well where should I start? The hotel itself is amazing and not distant from local shops. Public transport is available right opposite the hotel and will only take approximately half hour to get you to Venice

Precautions have been placed in order to keep staff and guests safe during the pandemic. The hotel itself is rich full of history with an amazing, lovely romantic garden where you can spend your time with your spouse

We travelled into Venice everyday and was taken to the train station and collected via a staff member for a very small charge, no matter the time they were willing to collect, one night was even close to midnight by the time our train had arrived due to a storm

It is a very interesting place. It's like a manor (or fazenda) refurnished into a hotel. The personnel is very kind and provided with additional belongings (free of charge). Check-in and check-out were very quick

Breakfast is ok, better than in other places we've been, i didn't liked the milk and the fact that they didn't had a bigger variety of vegetables but the staff was always keeping the stock up and u could ask for anything that was missing 15 min away from train station Another big plus was that u could make pitch black in the room so the sleep was improved

Another small downside was that our queen bed was 2 beds glued together 😅u could feel the 2 mattress but quite comfortable as a feel. Also got vine from here and was waaay to sweet, maybe my mistake for not specifying

Rooms are fairly small and unequiped, and some have no balcony. Food is standard for Italian B&B, all you can eat bread, salami, and jam buffets, drinks included.

We were allowed to stay two nights at the El Paso. Super friendly and warm employees and bosses. Our room with a double bed and a bunk bed was enough to stay overnight

Looking at the pictures online it's no secret that the hotel isn't built in 2019, it's a bit older but bathrooms etc. have been renovated to current standards

The only thing we missed would be a fridge, but at the reception or at the bar there is cool refreshment for hot nights. Thank you for the pleasant time

I always joke and I am ironic, but the owners are professional yes, but also nice they did everything to please us! I'm sorry I didn't write anything in the Guestbook, but overwhelmed by the sadness of leaving these places and these extraordinary people I forgot

would say that there is no Topper! but the mattress is so comfortable that I'm trying to buy the same one for home! Everything works well, even if we are at the beginning of the season, the dining room is very well furnished with beached "woods"

Also very near is the Botanic Park of Porto Caleri (see photo), which is certainly worth visiting, especially on a cool and breezy day. Free parking is available in front of the hotel and at the back

Only 2 observations: the bunk bed in our room was exactly under the air conditioner, so the youngest of my 3 children slept on the big bed with me and his sister so as not to get the air on him
