Does the advertised 5 star hotel rating come with a side of sewer smell throughout the hotel? I must acknowledge that the hotel is trying, and is very accommodating towards the patrons. At some times, we felt like we were back in the states, if that's what you're going for. Rooms are clean and updated. But what's up with the sewer smell inside the hotel? Just an issue for our 3 day stay? Or is it...
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Enjoyed staying in a non touristy area. Our room was amazing and transportation was easy. We enjoyed the local cafe food and the ease and safety of walking in the area. Our stay was almost perfect except for one thing. I wish that the hotel offered some type of coffee service. It is ridiculous that the only way to have coffee in the morning was to pay for the very expensive...
What a beautiful Hotel with rich history and perfect location to enjoy Venice, but not having to live in the chaos of day tourist. Highlights… the room upgrade 😳🙌🏼😍 the boat shuttle ($15) per person for the stay and always on time the breakfast was excellent with options for all. Not the best Hilton breakfast compared to Hilton Lake Como, but still very good. Negatives are only that is big so if...
We LOVED our stay at the Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice. The building itself is so historic and beautiful. It is a large property but we found the staff to be very attentive and helpful and never had to wait more than just a couple of minutes to be helped. Our room had a great view of Venice from across the canal and was very well appointed, with a large bathroom. I actually liked this location more...
We had an exceptional stay! From the moment we arrived, Lucrezia and the rest of the team made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel itself is stunning, with a blend of historic charm and modern luxury, and the views of Venice are breathtaking. The whole staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
A great hotel, and a great location. At first, I was a little doubtful whether to book a hotel on the island. But I was wrong to be afraid. The boats are very fast and comfortable. The schedule is convenient. It seems that thanks to the planning of my day, I managed to do and see everything I wanted to. I had a view of Venice from my room, and it is gorgeous. The island where the hotel is located...

Hotel was absolutely amazing, but was under construction. Would definitely go back!
Absolutely stunning and comfortable hotel, impeccable service and great food. Recommend to anyone visiting Venice!
A great hotel! The staff were great. We just loved the hotel and spent most of our time in the bar lobby and on our balcony. We have seen Venice a number of times and Hotel Danieli is close everything. The ambience is unlike any hotel. A must stay!
Beautiful place. You can feel the deep history of this place. Hotel has lots of beautiful art, beautifully renovated, kept it’s original charm from the past centuries. I would suggest to visit at least for a drink or coffee
So just about everything about this hotel is wonderful. Excellent service from the second I checked in until now. Concierge, room service, room cleaning, the rooftop restaurant and the bar in the lobby were all lovely. The only negative I have is that the air conditioning is almost non existent. I didn’t sleep my entire stay because I’m melting. As expected when I told them, they immediately sent of...
Bar Dandolo - Hotel Danieli, Venice - what an amazing experience! Aperitivo at its finest! Perfect drinks, wondering setting and the service was fantastic! We originally had planned to go to the rooftop terrace but the weather wasn’t great so opted to have a drink at Bar Dandolo. We are so happy we did!

We've had our honey moon at the San Clemente and it was magical. The staff was amazing, especially Ellen and Navid. They did everything they could to make our stay as carefree as possible, by helping us with surprises and dinners. The apartment was spacious and clean, no noise whatsoever. The island is a perfect relaxation spot, after a busy day in crowded Venice. We've enjoyed the Acquerello restaurant...
What a wonderful experience that the team at San Clemente Palace bestowed upon my wife and I during our honeymoon! From the second we arrived we were treated like valued guests and shown the utmost attention. Michael at the concierge desk was beyond helpful, nice, attentive, and professional; for our whole stay he was on top of his duties with precise detail. He even would go as far as seeking us...
Located on a private island in the lagoon about 10min away from San Marco square by complimentary hotel shuttle boat. Service is excellent, Restaurant and Bar are great and the pool is very nice to relax after the tourist crowds in Venice. Rooms are a bit dated and TVs are small.
Myra and Micheal with the Concierge were amazing! They answered all of our questions, gave great recommendations, and helped us plan our visit to Venice. Victoria with reception was very welcoming and always had a smile on her face. Beautiful property and will be the only place I stay when visiting Venice next time. Record breaking heat wave made the trip a bit more difficult, but the crew at the Kempinski...
An amazing, unique and exclusive hotel full of charm, understated beauty and history. Managed by impeccable, attentive, kind and considerate staff. Try the spa, the gym, massage, restaurant and all the other available services and amenities as we did. You will not be disappointed. The breakfast is the best selection of delights that we have experienced anywhere in the world. A courtesy boat takes you...
With San Clemente Kempinski you get the best of both worlds. City trips to beautiful but busy Venice via the regular quick shuttle boats as well as relaxing atmosphere at the pool or within the beautiful green of the island. The staff seems sometimes a little chaotic but very friendly nevertheless! The concierge did an amazing job and every recommendation was a highlight!

It's OK, it can't be compared with domestic hotels, but it's pretty good abroad
The property is unique in that it occupies a total island; however, the building needs to be electrically updated to accommodate new IPhones and other devices. There was only one USB outlet in our room, which was located in an outdated clock/radio. Restaurant Dining was limited in the evening; however, room service was excellent.
A lovely property away from the business of venice town. The shuttle was perfectly ran and all the staff are super polite, welcoming and friendly !
Excellent, pleasant and quiet hotel and service Nice hôtel on the island. Lovely garden. Confortable room. Quiet :) food is expensive but you are in Venice … spa needs to be booked and quite expensive even if you are staying in the hotel.
My stay at the Marriott hotel in Venice left a very positive impression. The room was spacious and elegantly designed, with a stunning view of the lagoon. The hotel’s convenient location deserves special mention: it is situated on a private island, offering a sense of seclusion and tranquility, yet the main attractions are easily accessible via a free shuttle that runs regularly. I also want to highlight...

We were upgraded to an amazing room with a view to the grand canal which changed my experience. They have an amazing concierge name Alvise that was extremely helpful and nice ( I have to say one of the others wasn't at all) I am grateful for his professional and behind the ordinary service.Valentina, the room division manager, was the turning point, from bad experience to a very good one. Insanely amazing experience. It's in an ideal location, has amazing rooms, views of the canal, an incredible breakfast bar, and top tier service. I will definitely be coming back here again.
I would like to thank all the staff for their hospitality.. Going through a medical emergency away from home is very scary but all the staff was so helpful and kind.. no other words can describe our experience other than superior.. 1000 thanks yous Grazie mille!!
5 star service, no question. Concierge was so helpful in getting us a rental car at the last minute. Breakfast is amazing.
Great hotel located in the middle of Venice about a 1-2 minute walk to San Marco. Room(s) was very nice and spacious and additional requests were done without hesitation. Very luxurious hotel. Friendly service. Rooms have to been renovated at some corners. That doesn't fit to a 5 star hotel. Good location at Venice, perfect view from the roof top bar. Good restaurant, very food breakfast (but please more bio food instead of American corn flakes).

A lovable hotel that felt like home. Enjoyable space for guests during breakfast dining and drinks on terrace. Rooms are small as expected but comfortable and well appointed; overall experience was classy and memorable.
Although I have had wonderful stays at the Westin Europa & Regina in the past, it should be noted that the hotel has been renamed the St. St. Regis Venice after a major renovation in 2019.

I came here 20 years ago as a kid with my parents and remember having a great time. Came back with my partner and had a wonderful experience. It’s romantic and the oriental bar and breakfast are amazing. Have fun!
The Metropole offers a sumptuous interior -- plush velvets, stunning flower arrangements and a collector's treasure trove on display -- in a perfect location. Best of all the staff is impeccable in their courtesy and efficiency. We have been coming for five years now and cannot recommend this hotel more highly
Amazing romantic hotel, very clean with high standards, spacious rooms with good menus and food, and a great location for venturing out and going on walks. Perfect for a city break. views, all in all - 'excellent'!
The art collection and history still make this a fantastic experience, but definitely getting a bit tired. Would benefit from a bit of restoration and detailing (but not modernization or renovation - those would ruin the charm). Some basic stuff like power points by the bedside and ditching the old style combo bath/showers would go a long way. Also, get rid of the TVs or mount them on the way and...
Very interesting interior, and helpful staff. Close to everything. Great breakfast. Beautiful views of the lagoon. Surprisingly not noisy even though the hotel faces a busy street. No iron allowed in the room, though, so if you have a function to attend you need to plan in advance.
Such a beautiful hotel and collection of arts. Sitting on the rio de la pleta and overlooking the Venice lagoon, the Metropole hotel was amazing. You are within 5 minutes of San Marco square and 3 minutes from the Bridge of Sighs. Venice blew us away and the Metropole was icing on the cake.

The hotel was nice but what made it spectacular was the team leading it. Sadly we found the hotel quite disappointing. The hotel needs a large overhaul, investment and a fresh pair of eyes. The super famous hotel has lost her way, and with it her iconic identity. I would say it is a 7 * hotel. The attention to detail is astonishing- drinks on arrival, fresh flowers, fruit, little cushion matt on the floor to step on by your bed… Celebrated special occasion with our family. Beautiful property with lovely rooms but unfortunately the food and service no longer live up to the high standards they once set. We are enjoying a deluxe room overlooking the Grand Canal. It’s lovely. Great staff looking after us. Beautiful bathroom with amazing lighting and a gorgeous bath. The bedroom is not large but the decorations and lighting are superb. Really quite different. Breakfast is yummy and the Bar, excellent.
We recently enjoyed a family vacation in Italy and stayed at the Baglioni Hotel Luna, which quickly became our favorite hotel. The food was exquisite, the cleanliness impeccable, and the location unbeatable. But what truly set it apart was the exceptional service. The Bauer Palladio was away from the maddening crowds of St Marco's square. After 2 weeks on the cruise ship and crowds in Rome and Athens a bit of peace and quiet appreciated before our flight home. A converted 16th century convent. An architectural gem.

A lovely staff and an absolutely killer breakfast. I appreciated it being a bit off the beaten path from the hustle and bustle. That part may not be for everyone, but it worked out splendid for us.
Was disappointed to stay here and realize this is more like a 3 star hotel. I am sure for Venice it is nice, however I would not stay here again due to a few issues: the room was very hot with no AC, the room was tiny, the service was nothing special and often times the front desk staff made you feel like you were bothering them and talked with attitude. That being said, housekeeping and the breakfast...
Lovely boutique hotel, lots of thoughts, ideas & details built-into the rooms, hotel decor, toiletries etc. whilst we stayed for 3 nights in Room 302/302 in November. Overall service was awesome especially by & the lovely front-office, house-keeping & restaurant staff! Even the location was reasonably good, quiet & just minutes from commercial areas which were relatively near the train station on main...

"Exceptional 5-star experience on the Venetian lagoon. Immaculately clean rooms, elegant decor, and top-notch service throughout our stay. The breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious, and the dinner was equally impressive — beautifully presented and full of flavor. Staff were incredibly warm, professional, and always eager to help. Just a short 5-minute stroll to St. Mark’s Square, with charming...
Lovely hotel! The staff were all attentive, vested in making our stay the best. Room was comfortable, pretty and clean. We had a beautiful view of the canal. Concierge planned an unforgettable evening for us. Fell in love with this hotel!
Great location!!! It is located in front of all water transportation stops, vaporetto, water taxi and gondola, overlooking lagoon and next to St Mark & Doge palace. The most important point is the breakfast at hotel is tasty with a lot of varieties. The staff offered friendly service. It makes us feel like home. The concierge friendly and passionately Introduced us with local attractions, shopping...
We stayed at the Londra Palace at the end of a Mediterranean cruise. It is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful location near St Mark's square at the start of the Grand Canal. What stood out was the exceptional staff. They were incredibly gracious and accommodating. The restaurant patio was an excellent place to people watch across the promenade, with wonderful drinks, food, and attentive yet discreet...
We loved this hotel. I have never stayed anywhere so beautiful. I was a bit worried I was out of my depth, but the staff were absolutely lovely. Everything about our stay was perfect from start to finish, and nothing was too much trouble for anyone. We were so lucky with the weather as well, but even the Londra Palace can't take credit for that. So close to the Doge's Palace and the Piazza San Marco...
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect. The location was perfect and right in the middle of everything. The staff was amazing and super helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

We came here as a large group. We didn't stay in the hotel, but we did have a lunch for a group of 23 vegans. As we are a luxury vegan group travel company, we needed to have a very high quality lunch and they delivered a beautiful lunch with some Venetians specialities made vegan. Working with the team in the planning was a dream also. Recommended for special events.
The only thing this hotel has going for itself is the location. The service is not great for a 5 star and the rooms were not too comfortable. Save your money and stay elsewhere
I stayed here for my engagement trip and it was such a good idea. You’re literally in the heart of Venice and my window looking at the canal was next level. Waking up everyday to fresh fruit, pastries and mimosas for free…amazing! The steak I had one night was so good I’m still longing for it. The staff was nice and never made us feel weird or a bother. Dope access to the canal so you can get around...
Great location, right across from St Mark's Square. The service and staff is impeccable. The room was very clean. The vaporetto stop is not one of the night stops (12am - 5am) so, other than those times, it is very easily accessed by waterbus and a short walk from the stop. Taxi will pull up right to the hotels deck.
Fabulous 4 night stay here on first visit to Venice. Special thanks to the whole team including Emanuel, Filippo, Francesca and Elvira. Many fond memories of this amazing city🙏
Fabulous location, 1 min away from salute vaporetto station, there is a boat every 12 min. San marco is just 1 min hop over ! You have a fabulous view on the Gritti Palace, one of the most famous in Venice. The modern interior is absolutely beautiful, the outside terrace over the water would be especially enjoyable in the warmer days. The rooms, depends, modern and freshly decorated. The standard...
Location is very good - 10 min walking distance from vaporetta station if you get by water bus from/to airport. Hotel has a private pier if you use water taxi. Many bars and restaurants around though to get to piazza San Marco or Dodge Palace you need to cross the Grand Canal - there’s no problem with it but takes some time. Rooms are good and spacious enough though I’d say it’s a very very solid good...
