We had an exceptional stay! From the moment we arrived, Lucrezia and the rest of the team made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel itself is stunning, with a blend of historic charm and modern luxury, and the views of Venice are breathtaking. This hotel was amazing. You get the incredibly nice rooms and finishes while not losing the historic atmosphere of the building. We booked a deluxe king with a view and had an incredible sight across the lagoon towards St Marc Square. The hotel is on a separate island which adds a little time but I think for a stay longer than one night is worth it to escape the narrow streets and canals of Venice...

Awesome views, helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast in the morning and the executive “happy hour” was nice. Only drawback is that it’s not on the same island as the main Venice. While transportation is easy and there is a shuttle, it’s not quite as convenient as being on the main island. We are enjoying a deluxe room overlooking the Grand Canal. It’s lovely. Great staff looking after us. Beautiful bathroom with amazing lighting and a gorgeous bath. We recently enjoyed a family vacation in Italy and stayed at the Baglioni Hotel Luna, which quickly became our favorite hotel. With San Clemente Kempinski you get the best of both worlds. City trips to beautiful but busy Venice via the regular quick shuttle boats as well as relaxing atmosphere at the pool or within the beautiful green of the island. The staff seems sometimes a little chaotic but very friendly nevertheless! The concierge did an amazing job and every recommendation was a highlight!

It's a hotel-island experience, which is definitely unique. It has a decent size pool and very extensive grounds. The staff is very professional and polite and definitely is trying to deliver five-star service, however not working A/C or sloppy maintenance is not as uncommon, as you would expect at the level of pricing.

We had the most memorable meal in Acquerello Restaurant while staying at the San Clemente. It was absolutely outstanding- the beautiful evening outdoors on the terrace, the entire meal was delicious! Went to go eat at the rooftop at this hotel. Service at the restaurant was amazing. Food was delicious, hotel was beautiful. The only bad thing I have to say about this hotel is a black male that works by the reception complained because we were at the lobby. Even though we had already gotten permission to be there by the front desk.

The location of this is perfect . The rooms were OK after you can find your room. The place is a maze with having to use stairs and elevators. Third floor room numbers on the first floor. Restaurant on 4 but the one elevator says 5. Very frustrating and no one gives any instructions. Really liked the hotel interior. We had a junior suite, which was beautiful. If the room was smaller, maybe I would have felt differently. Such a beautiful hotel and collection of arts. Sitting on the rio de la pleta and overlooking the Venice lagoon, the Metropole hotel was amazing. You are within 5 minutes of San Marco square and 3 minutes from the Bridge of Sighs. Venice blew us away and the Metropole was icing on the cake.

Def. a different experience. Spooky in a way but charming, elegant and cozy at the same time. The rooms look old but that is its originality, the spa is to dye for as you can rent the room for yourself and your spouse. The food is devine and they treat you like roalty.

We haven’t stayed at the hotel we go to the bar there because it’s absolutely sumptuous and the cocktails that are made by Lino. The head bar man are out of this world. Incredible! You can tell him your personality and he will create a cocktail for you, and I guarantee you will love it.!!!!

The hotel has been recently opened and the facilities are newly renovated. The room was lovely and luxurious, everything was very clean. Probably the best shower I have ever had in a hotel, it was a spacious rain shower with ambient lighting. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially loved the garden. We would stay there again.

From the terrace in our room the view was wonderful. A great location overall, very close to St Marks. Reception and Concierge were very helpful and friendly , quickly and efficiently making the arrangements we needed. Decor is great, especially the junior suite that we stayed in. We came here as a large group. We didn't stay in the hotel, but we did have a lunch for a group of 23 vegans. As we are a luxury vegan group travel company, we needed to have a very high quality lunch and they delivered a beautiful lunch with some Venetians specialities made vegan. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Wonderful and friendly service, knowledgeable concierge, great rooms. Breakfast on the terrace is worth a separate mention. It is hands down the best hotel breakfast we have ever had anywhere!

Without a doubt the best hotel I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. The service was impeccable. The rooms were spacious and very nice! The bathrooms have to be seen all clad in marble. We enjoyed sitting outside on the grand canal for drinks and to watch the action. The breakfast spread was incredible. Probably a once in a lifetime experience for us.

A memorable experience start to finish. The entrance, while brimming with luxurious decorations, art, and flowers, felt welcoming and comfortable.
