Negatives are only that is big so if you’re looking for the intimate Venice hotel you’ll want to look somewhere else, that said they’ve done a great job at keep much of the initial structures beams so the rooms and hallways feels smaller and more cozy

Good hotel in beautiful spot. The 40min intervals between boat service back to the hotel is a little problematic, especially if very busy. Good stay, great breakfast included.

I want to give a special mention to Herlane and Anyely, who provided such warm, professional, and attentive service, they truly made us feel at home

It’s only 15 euros per person to use the shuttle for your whole stay, but the principle of charging you for the shuttle when the whole point of coming to Venice is to visit St Marks and the surrounding area feels a bit cheap on Hiltons part

We enjoyed taking the shuttle back and forth from St Marks because it was a unique way to spend time on the water in Venice but there are equally nice hotels located closer to the heart of Venice if you don’t want to deal with the shuttle

A great hotel! The staff were great. We just loved the hotel and spent most of our time in the bar lobby and on our balcony. We have seen Venice a number of times and Hotel Danieli is close everything

San marco is a luxurious square. We took the train to venice and requested a boat from the hotel for pick up from the train station. We walked entirely throughout the 2 day stay

40 euro for a cheeseburger is a bit ridiculous even for a high end establishment, but this is a hotel first and foremost and I do not think it should be valued highly in my consideration for giving five stars, as it did not detract from my overall experience for more than a few minutes

He even would go as far as seeking us out during breakfast to inform us of our plans for the day, which we found terrific and personal. The only thing that I found less than perfect was the food pricing

The only slightly bad part was the room service menu, which had only 2-3 mediocre options. Overall, our honeymoon was great, and we'd be extremely happy to return to San Clemente in the future

They even had the best breakfast I had in Italy. The bar and bartenders were wonderful (also the best cocktails I had in Italy) and I really enjoyed spending time outside on the patio area between the two dining areas

First of all, you’re in Venice, so… you know… that’s an awesome starting point right there! This hotel, though, makes the whole experience better! The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is so good! But I think what sets this place apart is the staff who are warm and welcoming! I highly recommend this place!

Service was excellent, helping us to arrange our water taxi and walking us to where it was, as the normal port that the hotel uses out back was unusable due to high water levels. Rooms are unique and charming

Wonderful hotel! Nice location on the grand canal and the views from the rooftop bar are amazing! Highly recommend a water taxi from the train station as the walk includes so many bridges without ramps for rolling luggage (the distance is not so bad without luggage, but the up and down with several bags got old)

Breakfast was pretty good - offers various pastries, fruit, cheese, eggs, coffee, etc. Location is excellent and has really nice rooftop seating

Reception staff can do with a refresher on PR along with a few restaurant staff. Not all! Housekeeping is very good and friendly

Very nice boutique hotel hidden in the very small street behind of famous Palazzo Grassi. Excellent service, comfortable bed, spacious and well-lighted bathroom (especially important for my wife)

Palazzina Grassi has the best bed and pillows I’ve ever slept on in my life, and their Prosecco was the best in all of Venice. Will be back as soon as possible!
