We had an exceptional stay! From the moment we arrived, Lucrezia and the rest of the team made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel itself is stunning, with a blend of historic charm and modern luxury, and the views of Venice are breathtaking. The whole staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

With San Clemente Kempinski you get the best of both worlds. City trips to beautiful but busy Venice via the regular quick shuttle boats as well as relaxing atmosphere at the pool or within the beautiful green of the island. Beautiful view. Excellent service. The food was delicious. Make a reservation in advance and take proof of it with you because when we arrived, the host told me I didn't have a reservation. Great for taking pictures, food was mediocre at best, simple pasta with tomato sauce took 1 hour, the sauce was dripped into the pan out of a plastic bag (not fresh), steak was served cold and raw even tho we ordered well done, pasta with seafood (mussels and shrimp) was a bit salty. Very expensive and did not fulfill our expectations.

You have to buy drinks or food in order to enjoy the roof top views even a hotel guest. If guests could bring their own drinks to relax and enjoy the views it would be a different story. The hotel promotes this as part of their hotel, but it comes with a catch, you have to pay for the overpriced drinks or food to stay up there. We were better off having drinks from a near by kiosk and enjoying drinks...

We opted to have a drink as we arrive around 10pm, was easy enough to get a table without having to queue. Really nice views, we went in the evening so there were fireworks in the distance which made it very romantic. There is a good atmosphere with a live DJ playing until late. Staff was very friendly. Didn't try the food. I will just say, yes, technically you are on a rooftop. Yes, the grand Canal is below, but most of the view from this side is dominated by a huge parking garage and the bus station. There are 2 other rooftop places in town in other areas; if you want to pay top prices for drinks with a view, I would seek them out.

The rooms were clean, there is AC everywhere, the staff were nice, and room service was quick. The breakfast pastries were delicious, but there was limited hot food (just bacon and eggs). Once you get delivered to the door in your water taxi then you know you have arrived to a wonderful place. We were checked in an on our way. The room my wife and I got has 2 twin beds (king) the shower is wonderful. I do recommend coming here.

An absolute gem of a hotel in beautiful Venice, the staff are exceptional and the rooms very comfortable. A good breakfast is on offer as well. I heartily recommend this hotel

The location is excellent. Our suit was perfect for us. Our party had other nice rooms also. The view was lovely. The breakfast was great with the appropriate level of offering and service. We would stay here again, and that is a big compliment.

We arrived and departed by water taxi. The staff was attentive. One of our traveling party was disabled and the hotel staff were helpful. The rooms were updated but had old European form factor. The bar was excellent and had a great view of the canal. The breakfast was the best that we had in Italy. The Hotel is located near shops and restaurants and is an easy walk to San Marco Square.

First time in Venice and we were very happy with our accommodations at the BW CHC Continental. Location was perfectly situated on the Grand Canal and fully immersed in old world charm. We had the most amazing stay at this hotel. On arrival they had upgraded us to a room looking over the canal, which was such a lovely surprise. Great option for any ocation, and best if coming on Water Taxi from and to Marco Polo Airport. It's a little noisy in the early busy mornings. Room coms with bathrobes and sleeprs. The breakfast buffet is very good, garded by an eagle sometimes at the Grand Canal terrace.

The staff in this hotel are what make it great. Such friendly staff! Loved having breakfast here in the morning overlooking the canal (just be careful for seagulls!) Rooms were okay. The hotel is located extremely near to Venice Centrale station and the ferry stops. There a lot of breakfast around so no need to get the hotel breakfast. It is wise to book hotel next to the train station as the Venice pavement is uneven. Quite hard for you to drag your luggage or even take the river boat when is fully crowded.

Location near Railway Station is excellent. But amenities inside room are a bit old. Shower area without door makes water leak out of it, causing slippery and wet floor. Wall between room is thin such that I can hear other room people talking. One good thing is on the breakfast which provides a variety of food.. that said, the scramble egg is a bit hard.
