Awesome views, helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast in the morning and the executive “happy hour” was nice. Only drawback is that it’s not on the same island as the main Venice. While transportation is easy and there is a shuttle, it’s not quite as convenient as being on the main island. That being said, when it was time to check out, it was easier to leave than it would be for many other hotels...
We had a wonderful stay. The staff were very attentive and always willing to help if needed! The location was great and the water taxi to the various locations in town made the city just accessible enough to keep our stay peaceful. The facility itself was beautifully redone with a complete historical aspect portrayed throughout the halls and the spa was equally as lovely with GREAT service (and I'm...
Breakfast was excellent and varied. Room was large enough but lacked comfortable seats. Great view from the room over the lagoon towards Venice. Helpful they had a ferry to take you to the main Venice island which was cheaper than a water taxi. Prices in the hotel were high but there were some nice local restaurants within a few minutes walk.
Great hotel with views of the ancient city! Rooms were good sized, large bathroom. We looked out towards Venice. Gorgeous looking at the city and boats going by. Shuttle service to St Mark's Square is wonderful. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Fruits, meats, cheeses, honeycomb, breads, eggs, bacon, candy section. Something for everyone.
Amazing hotel! The shuttle boat service was very convenient and always on time when we used it. The concierge service over email & the desk were so helpful. Our room was gorgeous with views of Venice & the Canal!! The rooftop views were nice too. Got to use the Executive Lounge as a Hilton Gold member. Would recommend this hotel!!
Beautiful hotel. Both the interior and exterior is magnificient. They charge 40euros for sauna/hot tub which is quite expensive The staff were rarely smiling and seem unwelcoming. The breakfast didn’t have vegan option especially the dessert. The staff present at breakfast were least interested in the guests and hence poor experience.

Bar Dandolo - Hotel Danieli, Venice - what an amazing experience! Aperitivo at its finest! Perfect drinks, wondering setting and the service was fantastic! We originally had planned to go to the rooftop terrace but the weather wasn’t great so opted to have a drink at Bar Dandolo. We are so happy we did!
My mom and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Danieli. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The location is great. The food is wonderful. We highly recommend.
gorgeous hotel with a lovely lobby bar. we came for martinis and small nibbles - service was amazing! the air conditioning was perfect on a hot summer day.
We came here for coffee and sweets at the rooftop bar at around 4pm. The bar was not crowded but we had to wait a bit to be seated. It wad worth it because they gave us a table central to their spectacular view. We got some espresso, cappuccino and tiramisu. There were 2 waiters attending our table, one scared me a little because he only responded in Italian while the other was very friendly, welcoming...
Went to go eat at the rooftop at this hotel. Service at the restaurant was amazing. Food was delicious, hotel was beautiful. The only bad thing I have to say about this hotel is a black male that works by the reception complained because we were at the lobby. Even though we had already gotten permission to be there by the front desk.
The location of this is perfect . The rooms were OK after you can find your room. The place is a maze with having to use stairs and elevators. Third floor room numbers on the first floor. Restaurant on 4 but the one elevator says 5. Very frustrating and no one gives any instructions. Unless you are dripping in diamonds or fur, expect to have the front desk look down their nose or ignore you completely...

We stayed four nights at Hotel Luna. Every staff member we interacted with was extremely welcoming and helpful. The room (junior suite) was very comfortable, well equipped and maintained daily. Beyond the welcoming spirit and exceptional accommodations, we enjoyed the superior location...
We are enjoying a deluxe room overlooking the Grand Canal. It’s lovely. Great staff looking after us. Beautiful bathroom with amazing lighting and a gorgeous bath. The bedroom is not large but the decorations and lighting are superb. Really quite different. Breakfast is yummy and the Bar, excellent.
We recently enjoyed a family vacation in Italy and stayed at the Baglioni Hotel Luna, which quickly became our favorite hotel. The food was exquisite, the cleanliness impeccable, and the location unbeatable. But what truly set it apart was the exceptional service. As a travel agent who is constantly on the move, I can say this hotel exceeded all my expectations.
Absolutely breathtaking views hotel, beautiful classic rooms, very clean and comfortable. Antonio , the concierge is super friendly , patient and helpful. I had an incredible custom massage with Daniela and she is the best to go to after jet lag . Daniela is knowledge, attentive and knows how to heal body. I highly recommend to book massage with her . Thank you for taking care of us.
I booked as a last minute change of plans and had no expectations. It truly is the best decision I made during my stay. First the hotel can be reached easily by water taxi directly from the train station. It’s located near the luxury brands and touristy area. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. Fun room. Gorgeous canal views. Great breakfast.
Older but stylish hotel. The hotel has an excelent locatopn if you want to enjoy Venice. From the parking there is either a cablecar or taxi-boats so you end up just a few steps from the hotel. The staff is professional and did everything for our comfort. The breakfast was rich and fresh, and the dining area was nice, both indoors and outdoors. Strongly recommended.
Book the Room 102 and you will have the best possible experience in Venezia!!! Magical athmosphere and gorgeous view from the balcony! The staff is amazing and the breakfast a good start into your day!
Hot water in the morning was gone, the evening was.Place fussy.
Room was beautifully appointed and the staff were right on top of it. We had breakfast available every morning and quite a diverse selection. Location was close to rr and ferries. Could easily walk to anywhere in town.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can see them on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We stayed for 3 nights in June 2024. The location is excellent - close to everything, but also feels like you are away from the hustle and bustle. The room was very clean, spacious and modern, but still in keeping with Venetian style. The breakfast was nice - typical continental breakfast with a really tasty fruit salad. The staff were very friendly and accommodating...
A lovely quiet hotel in a fantastic location for proximity for St Marks Square and other key sights in the city. Our junior suite was spacious, luxurious and clean, with a balcony overlooking the canal allowing a view of the Bridge of Sighs. However, the canals can be quite noisy at night with water taxi's & other motor boats going past.
The hotel has very comfortable and really clean bedrooms, a lovely breakfast hall and a really nice bar. There's an amazing breakfast selection for every taste and the staff are really nice. We came here as a large group. We didn't stay in the hotel, but we did have a lunch for a group of 23 vegans. As we are a luxury vegan group travel company, we needed to have a very high quality lunch and they delivered a beautiful lunch with some Venetians specialities made vegan. Working with the team in the planning was a dream also. Recommended for special events.
The only thing this hotel has going for itself is the location. The service is not great for a 5 star and the rooms were not too comfortable. Save your money and stay elsewhere
I stayed here for my engagement trip and it was such a good idea. You’re literally in the heart of Venice and my window looking at the canal was next level. Waking up everyday to fresh fruit, pastries and mimosas for free…amazing! The steak I had one night was so good I’m still longing for it. The staff was nice and never made us feel weird or a bother. Dope access to the canal so you can get around...
Great location, right across from St Mark's Square. The service and staff is impeccable. The room was very clean. The vaporetto stop is not one of the night stops (12am - 5am) so, other than those times, it is very easily accessed by waterbus and a short walk from the stop. Taxi will pull up right to the hotels deck.
Fabulous 4 night stay here on first visit to Venice. Special thanks to the whole team including Emanuel, Filippo, Francesca and Elvira. Many fond memories of this amazing city🙏
Fabulous location, 1 min away from salute vaporetto station, there is a boat every 12 min. San marco is just 1 min hop over ! Great for taking pictures, food was mediocre at best, simple pasta with tomato sauce took 1 hour, the sauce was dripped into the pan out of a plastic bag (not fresh), steak was served cold and raw even tho we ordered well done, pasta with seafood (mussels and shrimp) was a bit salty. Very expensive and did not fulfill our expectations.
You have to buy drinks or food in order to enjoy the roof top views even a hotel guest. If guests could bring their own drinks to relax and enjoy the views it would be a different story. The hotel promotes this as part of their hotel, but it comes with a catch, you have to pay for the overpriced drinks or food to stay up there. We were better off having drinks from a near by kiosk and enjoying drinks...
We opted to have a drink as we arrive around 10pm, was easy enough to get a table without having to queue. Really nice views, we went in the evening so there were fireworks in the distance which made it very romantic. There is a good atmosphere with a live DJ playing until late. It has really good views as the bar is on the rooftop of the hotel above the Grand Canal
Staff was very friendly. Didn't try the food. I will just say, yes, technically you are on a rooftop. Yes, the grand Canal is below, but most of the view from this side is dominated by a huge parking garage and the bus station. There are 2 other rooftop places in town in other areas; if you want to pay top prices for drinks with a view, I would seek them out.
Cleanness of rooms were not satisfactory. Same breakfast menu every day. Early check in is not possible. Even only 1 hour sooner. Good location, friendly staff.
Absolutely the highlight of our stay in Venice, a long evening with amazing food and food wine with great music and lighting. Especially neat that you can see the air traffic in the distance.

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Wonderful and friendly service, knowledgeable concierge, great rooms. Breakfast on the terrace is worth a separate mention. It is hands down the best hotel breakfast we have ever had anywhere!
Without a doubt the best hotel I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. The service was impeccable. The rooms were spacious and very nice! The bathrooms have to be seen all clad in marble. We enjoyed sitting outside on the grand canal for drinks and to watch the action. The breakfast spread was incredible. Probably a once in a lifetime experience for us.
The Gritti Palace is so beautiful and the service we received during our stay was outstanding. Ivan Schultz, the head concierge, absolutely saved us with our travel plans heading to Sorrento. The staff was amazing!! Lorenzo was a life saver and an asset to your staff, he would be the main reason I would be back. The room was small but very clean. The only issue was the USB ports do not work. That would have been nice to know prior to not having my phone charge all night to wake up to a dead phone.
The location is perfect distance from train station, approximately 5 minute walk. Staff where very friendly. Our room.was spacious and clean. Loved our stay there. Enjoyed sitting in bar watching world go by when we stopped for a refreshment.
Great location. Service was friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms were great. Highly recommended. Hotels in Venice can be extremely hard to find and private transportation could be expensive, this hotel is walking distance from the train station and the water bus station is directly outside, this is a great home base. Land transportation is directly outside as well.
Great location. A few minutes from the train station and the bus/taxi station is located directly outside the Hotel. If you're coming on train or bus with several bags, this might be a great Hotel, since you won't have to walk far or pay for water Taxi. My only complaint would be that the water in the tub, while showering, drained very slowly.
Very nice and friendly hotel. Third floor best View. They have their own parking space. They parkt our motorcycles for 35€ one night one bike. Pretty expensive but it is worse....
I absolutely adored this hotel! So perfectly located - close to all the Roman landmarks. The area surrounding is quiet at night. The bed was super comfortable. 10/10. Will be visiting again.

The location is excellent. Our suit was perfect for us. Our party had other nice rooms also. The view was lovely. The breakfast was great with the appropriate level of offering and service. We would stay here again, and that is a big compliment.
We arrived and departed by water taxi. The staff was attentive. One of our traveling party was disabled and the hotel staff were helpful. The rooms were updated but had old European form factor. The bar was excellent and had a great view of the canal. The breakfast was the best that we had in Italy. The Hotel is located near shops and restaurants and is an easy walk to San Marco Square.
Beautiful hotel, the room was clean and nice. The service desk person was so really nice and welcoming. Offered to store our luggage if needed. The breakfast area was so small and crowded. There wasn't much of a variety of food. It was such a small area, and very hard to navigate when there were others eating as well. Overall a good stay but I would not do the breakfast.
Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very central location. There's even an umbrella for use in the wardrobe which I thought was a lovely touch. Fabulous cocktails and a lovely breakfast. Would 100% recommend.
Great location, great breakfast, and great staff! Stayed for two nights and was very impressed. Would stay again. My wife and I arrived right up to the hotels...
