This is a beautiful hotel that is just a 5 minute walk from the train station. The staff was incredibly helpful and gracious, particularly when giving directions and pointing out shortcuts on the best way to get from A to B. We spent three nights there during the Carnival a few years ago. Great location near the train station (easy walking distance with luggage). Plenty of good restaurants and shops close by, easy access to Vaparetto near a train station for transport to St Marc's square. The staff was helpful, but if you're looking for luxury, this hotel won't be for you.

With San Clemente Kempinski you get the best of both worlds. City trips to beautiful but busy Venice via the regular quick shuttle boats as well as relaxing atmosphere at the pool or within the beautiful green of the island. Great for taking pictures, food was mediocre at best, simple pasta with tomato sauce took 1 hour, the sauce was dripped into the pan out of a plastic bag (not fresh), steak was served cold and raw even tho we ordered well done, pasta with seafood (mussels and shrimp) was a bit salty. You have to buy drinks or food in order to enjoy the roof top views even a hotel guest. If guests could bring their own drinks to relax and enjoy the views it would be a different story. The hotel promotes this as part of their hotel, but it comes with a catch, you have to pay for the overpriced drinks or food to stay up there. We opted to have a drink as we arrive around 10pm, was easy enough to get a table without having to queue. Really nice views, we went in the evening so there were fireworks in the distance which made it very romantic. There is a good atmosphere with a live DJ playing until late. Yes, the grand Canal is below, but most of the view from this side is dominated by a huge parking garage and the bus station. Looking for a well positioned hotel with acceptable price I found it ! Lovely room with very good bed and bathroom. All clean. No issues. The lobby is great with receptionist always willing to help. Close to all the exhibitions and terrasse and bars very good

We had a very nice room on the top floor. Staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was a bit lacking. The hot food wasn't hot. We would go back there.

A very nice breakfast buffet offered every morning with all sorts of baked goods. Our room was pretty good and spacious with good A/C and a jet tub. The staff was very helpful and handled all our arrangements for tours. Only compliant would be the mosquitoes (which I know are impossible to get rid of in a canal-based town) and the loud construction outside the window every morning.

Great hotel apartment for the family. Very clean and central. Not noisy, and has coffee tea and washing machine (but you need your own detergent). The rooms are super spacious and the pillows are super comfortable! Would definitely go again

Great location and style for this Hotel. I liked the style of the hotel. It suits to Venice and makes you feel you are in the centre of Venice. The staff was friendly and professional. The location is great as well. I’ve seen good comments about the breakfast. I think it’s ok, not great. Overall in my opinion this hotel is great.

Perfect location if you want to be close to Piazza di San Marco. Rooms a little bit small but cosy and sparking clean. When we visited the afternoon tea service was cancelled and the breakfast offer was varied.

Great location, nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast is very good and having a bar and a pool table is nice for an end of the day relaxation. A surprisingly large hotel, slightly old fashioned, but it suited us. A very handy location for sightseeing.

Such a wonderful hotel. Quaint, Location is perfect, and very "old school". A bit of age but that is the draw. We have stayed at the G for the last 5 or 6 stays over the last 20 years. People are very helpful and accomodating. The opposite of the fancy hotels on the Canal but again that is exactly why we stay there. Love it.

Excellent hotel with great services. All the staff are super helpful and attentive. Plunge pool is a great way to relax after a long day sighting seeing. Bartender(Walter) was fabulous! Breakfast is delicious. Close enough to all the sights but not in the middle of it all. Cannot go wrong with Hotel Giorgione!

Perfectly located for all aspects of enjoying Venice. Lovely hotel like an oasis after a busy day sightseeing in Venice. Large Spa like courtyard with jacuzzi was a big plus. The entire team are friendly, welcoming and made our 5 night stay extra special. Albert at breakfast always made a great start to our day!
