We had an exceptional stay! From the moment we arrived, Lucrezia and the rest of the team made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel itself is stunning, with a blend of historic charm and modern luxury, and the views of Venice are breathtaking. The whole staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
A great hotel, and a great location. At first, I was a little doubtful whether to book a hotel on the island. But I was wrong to be afraid. The boats are very fast and comfortable. The schedule is convenient. It seems that thanks to the planning of my day, I managed to do and see everything I wanted to. I had a view of Venice from my room, and it is gorgeous. The island where the hotel is located...
We absolutely loved this hotel! Our room was fantastic & staff were very friendly and welcoming. The lounge is only open from 10am to 7pm which makes it more difficult to use as people are usually gone during that part of the day. The breakfast was amazing! Everything you could want and more! Kids would love the chocolate fountain and candy bar! Rooftop lounge and restaurants are a little pricey. Definitely...
This hotel was amazing. You get the incredibly nice rooms and finishes while not losing the historic atmosphere of the building. We booked a deluxe king with a view and had an incredible sight across the lagoon towards St Marc Square. The hotel is on a separate island which adds a little time but I think for a stay longer than one night is worth it to escape the narrow streets and canals of Venice...
Wonderful hotel for a short as well as long holiday stay. The service including concierge and on site staff was first class at the highest level of profession. The rooms we stayed in were professionally cleaned and prepared prior to our visit accordingly to our needs and expectations especially for my birthday!! They have given us complimentary champagne and balloon decorations which was very special...
Awesome views, helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast in the morning and the executive “happy hour” was nice. Only drawback is that it’s not on the same island as the main Venice. While transportation is easy and there is a shuttle, it’s not quite as convenient as being on the main island. That being said, when it was time to check out, it was easier to leave than it would be for many other hotels...

Beautiful place. You can feel the deep history of this place. Hotel has lots of beautiful art, beautifully renovated, kept it’s original charm from the past centuries. I would suggest to visit at least for a drink or coffee
So just about everything about this hotel is wonderful. Excellent service from the second I checked in until now. Concierge, room service, room cleaning, the rooftop restaurant and the bar in the lobby were all lovely. The only negative I have is that the air conditioning is almost non existent. I didn’t sleep my entire stay because I’m melting. As expected when I told them, they immediately sent of...
Bar Dandolo - Hotel Danieli, Venice - what an amazing experience! Aperitivo at its finest! Perfect drinks, wondering setting and the service was fantastic! We originally had planned to go to the rooftop terrace but the weather wasn’t great so opted to have a drink at Bar Dandolo. We are so happy we did!
My mom and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Danieli. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The location is great. The food is wonderful. We highly recommend.
gorgeous hotel with a lovely lobby bar. we came for martinis and small nibbles - service was amazing! the air conditioning was perfect on a hot summer day.
We came here for coffee and sweets at the rooftop bar at around 4pm. The bar was not crowded but we had to wait a bit to be seated. It wad worth it because they gave us a table central to their spectacular view. We got some espresso, cappuccino and tiramisu. There were 2 waiters attending our table, one scared me a little because he only responded in Italian while the other was very friendly, welcoming...

We've had our honey moon at the San Clemente and it was magical. The staff was amazing, especially Ellen and Navid. They did everything they could to make our stay as carefree as possible, by helping us with surprises and dinners. The apartment was spacious and clean, no noise whatsoever. The island is a perfect relaxation spot, after a busy day in crowded Venice. We've enjoyed the Acquerello restaurant...
What a wonderful experience that the team at San Clemente Palace bestowed upon my wife and I during our honeymoon! From the second we arrived we were treated like valued guests and shown the utmost attention. Located on a private island in the lagoon about 10min away from San Marco square by complimentary hotel shuttle boat. Service is excellent, Restaurant and Bar are great and the pool is very nice to relax after the tourist crowds in Venice. Rooms are a bit dated and TVs are small.
Myra and Micheal with the Concierge were amazing! They answered all of our questions, gave great recommendations, and helped us plan our visit to Venice. Victoria with reception was very welcoming and always had a smile on her face. Beautiful property and will be the only place I stay when visiting Venice next time. Record breaking heat wave made the trip a bit more difficult, but the crew at the Kempinski...
An amazing, unique and exclusive hotel full of charm, understated beauty and history. Managed by impeccable, attentive, kind and considerate staff. Try the spa, the gym, massage, restaurant and all the other available services and amenities as we did. You will not be disappointed. The breakfast is the best selection of delights that we have experienced anywhere in the world. A courtesy boat takes you...
With San Clemente Kempinski you get the best of both worlds. City trips to beautiful but busy Venice via the regular quick shuttle boats as well as relaxing atmosphere at the pool or within the beautiful green of the island. The staff seems sometimes a little chaotic but very friendly nevertheless! The concierge did an amazing job and every recommendation was a highlight!

It's OK, it can't be compared with domestic hotels, but it's pretty good abroad
My stay at the Marriott hotel in Venice left a very positive impression. The room was spacious and elegantly designed, with a stunning view of the lagoon. The hotel’s convenient location deserves special mention: it is situated on a private island, offering a sense of seclusion and tranquility, yet the main attractions are easily accessible via a free shuttle that runs regularly. I recently stayed at this secluded resort that boasted a picture-perfect landscape, making it an ideal getaway for those seeking tranquility and beautiful scenery. We were upgraded to an amazing room with a view to the grand canal which changed my experience. They have an amazing concierge name Alvise that was extremely helpful and nice ( I have to say one of the others wasn't at all) I am grateful for his professional and behind the ordinary service.Valentina, the room division manager, was the turning point, from bad experience to a very good one. Insanely amazing experience. It's in an ideal location, has amazing rooms, views of the canal, an incredible breakfast bar, and top tier service. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Great hotel located in the middle of Venice about a 1-2 minute walk to San Marco. Room(s) was very nice and spacious and additional requests were done without hesitation. Very luxurious hotel. Friendly service. Rooms have to been renovated at some corners. That doesn't fit to a 5 star hotel. Good location at Venice, perfect view from the roof top bar. Good restaurant, very food breakfast (but please more bio food instead of American corn flakes).

A lovable hotel that felt like home. Enjoyable space for guests during breakfast dining and drinks on terrace. Rooms are small as expected but comfortable and well appointed; overall experience was classy and memorable.

Beautiful view. Excellent service. The food was delicious. Make a reservation in advance and take proof of it with you because when we arrived, the host told me I didn't have a reservation. The restaurant on the first floor has a different menu. Also, if you are not a hotel guest, the restaurant charges you an extra fee, which I believe is very unfair.

Great for taking pictures, food was mediocre at best, simple pasta with tomato sauce took 1 hour, the sauce was dripped into the pan out of a plastic bag (not fresh), steak was served cold and raw even tho we ordered well done, pasta with seafood (mussels and shrimp) was a bit salty. Very expensive and did not fulfill our expectations.
You have to buy drinks or food in order to enjoy the roof top views even a hotel guest. If guests could bring their own drinks to relax and enjoy the views it would be a different story. The hotel promotes this as part of their hotel, but it comes with a catch, you have to pay for the overpriced drinks or food to stay up there. We were better off having drinks from a near by kiosk and enjoying drinks...
We opted to have a drink as we arrive around 10pm, was easy enough to get a table without having to queue. Really nice views, we went in the evening so there were fireworks in the distance which made it very romantic. There is a good atmosphere with a live DJ playing until late. It has really good views as the bar is on the rooftop of the hotel above the Grand Canal
Staff was very friendly. Didn't try the food. I will just say, yes, technically you are on a rooftop. Yes, the grand Canal is below, but most of the view from this side is dominated by a huge parking garage and the bus station. There are 2 other rooftop places in town in other areas; if you want to pay top prices for drinks with a view, I would seek them out.

My husband and I came to Venice to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We wanted to stay in a luxurious suite with 24-hour room service, and close to St. Mark’s Square so we could enjoy those dueling café orchestras in the lit-up square at night. We noticed many Venice hotel rooms were very small and had no room service (or elevators). We were thrilled when we found Splendid and happily booked...
We really enjoyed our two nights. Everything was great with one exception. The rooftop bartender didn't follow our drink order and copped an attitude. He was the only downer in our two days. We mentioned to other staff and they acknowledged his pompous attitude.
This place has it all! Beautifully appointed rooms, free wine at check in, a great breakfast spread each morning, a rooftop bar overlooking the canal, and a very professional and pleasant staff. Spectacular hotel in Venice - certain earns the name! We spent 2 nights here and central to either San Marco or Rialto just a few minutes walking. Excellent hotel with direct water taxi access. This allows the boat to go direct to the hotel lobby. Rooms are traditional and large. Marble bathrooms, great water pressure. I came here 20 years ago as a kid with my parents and remember having a great time. Came back with my partner and had a wonderful experience. It’s romantic and the oriental bar and breakfast are amazing. Have fun!
The Metropole offers a sumptuous interior -- plush velvets, stunning flower arrangements and a collector's treasure trove on display -- in a perfect location. Best of all the staff is impeccable in their courtesy and efficiency. We have been coming for five years now and cannot recommend this hotel more highly
Amazing romantic hotel, very clean with high standards, spacious rooms with good menus and food, and a great location for venturing out and going on walks. Perfect for a city break. views, all in all - 'excellent'!
The art collection and history still make this a fantastic experience, but definitely getting a bit tired. Would benefit from a bit of restoration and detailing (but not modernization or renovation - those would ruin the charm). Some basic stuff like power points by the bedside and ditching the old style combo bath/showers would go a long way. Also, get rid of the TVs or mount them on the way and...
Very interesting interior, and helpful staff. Close to everything. Great breakfast. Beautiful views of the lagoon. Surprisingly not noisy even though the hotel faces a busy street. No iron allowed in the room, though, so if you have a function to attend you need to plan in advance.
Such a beautiful hotel and collection of arts. Sitting on the rio de la pleta and overlooking the Venice lagoon, the Metropole hotel was amazing. You are within 5 minutes of San Marco square and 3 minutes from the Bridge of Sighs. Venice blew us away and the Metropole was icing on the cake.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable! We had an incredible canal view which kept us entertained during a rainy afternoon. The staff were incredibly friendly. The location is wonderful if you are looking to be a little away from the main tourist areas. It is a bit of a walk to everything (which we loved and is common in Venice). Close to great restaurants though!
The rooms were clean, there is AC everywhere, the staff were nice, and room service was quick. The breakfast pastries were delicious, but there was limited hot food (just bacon and eggs). Sometimes at night you can hear people being loud, but it’s not too disruptive. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

First of all, you’re in Venice, so… you know… that’s an awesome starting point right there! This hotel, though, makes the whole experience better! The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is so good! Good location and i enjoy my trip to stay in CHC continental. 😄
First time in Venice and we were very happy with our accommodations at the BW CHC Continental. Location was perfectly situated on the Grand Canal and fully immersed in old world charm. You'll need to arrive by water taxi. We had bfast at the hotel and it was excellent. So many options including vegan pastry, muesli options, beans and mixed veggies, fruit, and non-dairy milk options as well as eggs...
We had the most amazing stay at this hotel. On arrival they had upgraded us to a room looking over the canal, which was such a lovely surprise. The room was comfortable, modern and spacious and the view of the canal was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide range of choice. Though the highlight of our stay was the incredibly friendly staff, Nicole and Diletta on the front desk in particular...
Great option for any ocation, and best if coming on Water Taxi from and to Marco Polo Airport. It's a little noisy in the early busy mornings. Room coms with bathrobes and sleeprs. The breakfast buffet is very good, garded by an eagle sometimes at the Grand Canal terrace.
The staff in this hotel are what make it great. Such friendly staff! Loved having breakfast here in the morning overlooking the canal (just be careful for seagulls!) Rooms were okay. Nothing special but good for what they were and great location to go explore Venice and leave Venice, which I did one day to go explore the Veneto region of Italy. I’d recommend this hotel for the location as described...
The room is tidy, the staff are nice and the breakfast is delicious.

The hotel enjoys a great location, with good restaurants in the surrounding area and comprehensive facilities.
I just spent two nights at the Palazzo hotel in a junior suite and was completely satisfied. The front desk was courteous and attentive to your needs. They were helpful in reserving a water taxi for me. The room was spotless, the bathroom was large and the rain shower head was perfect after a long day of touring this beautiful city. The breakfast was plentiful as it had a large variety of food items...
Great service very friendly staff! Our room was beautiful and had a small sofa which they made up as a bed at our request. Breakfast everything you could imagine including espresso and cappuccino. We also took a cab to the airport which was a lot cheaper than the water taxi. A nice steward helped with our bags to the former cruise terminal to a waiting taxi. If you are in Venice for a few days, this...
Overall great experience at this hotel. The location was top! Everything accessible. They had a great complimentary activity + boat to Murano and the glass factory. That was a nice added touch. The reception overall was friendly. Rima was the best! She took great care of us & was always smiley and friendly. She made dinner reservations for us always on time without hesitation. She definitely enhanced...
The hotel is of a relatively high standard among four-star hotels. We booked a loft room and our family of three lived very comfortably. The breakfast standard was also very high, with a wide selection of bread, cake, cheese, ham, and fruit, and the service was also very good. However, since it was my first time in Venice, I didn't know that taxis couldn't go directly to the hotel, so I walked 1.2...
My stay at Palazzo Veneziano was absolutely perfect! I had two rooms for my family, and both were stunning—modern, luxurious, and incredibly comfortable, with meticulous attention to cleanliness and detail. The layout and amenities suited our needs perfectly, making it an ideal choice for families. The hotel’s location is ideal—peaceful yet conveniently close to Venice’s main attractions. Breakfast...

Friendly staff and located just next to the train station and the ferry. Highly recommended.
Location is great! It is only about 5 mins walk from train station. Room is a bit old and is not well maintained. I did not feel welcome from the front desk when we checked in.
Very good, great location. Kind staff and nice room, really enjoy it.
The hotel is located extremely near to Venice Centrale station and the ferry stops. There a lot of breakfast around so no need to get the hotel breakfast. It is wise to book hotel next to the train station as the Venice pavement is uneven. Quite hard for you to drag your luggage or even take the river boat when is fully crowded.
Location near Railway Station is excellent. But amenities inside room are a bit old. Shower area without door makes water leak out of it, causing slippery and wet floor. Wall between room is thin such that I can hear other room people talking. One good thing is on the breakfast which provides a variety of food.. that said, the scramble egg is a bit hard.
The room felt quite small for the price, and the amenities were underwhelming. However, the two large, fully openable windows were a nice touch. There was no complimentary drinking water, which I believe is essential, and the TV wasn’t working. I didn’t reach out to the staff since I didn’t have the time. That said, the hotel is in a fantastic location and maintains a clean environment despite being...
