Although the hotel is ideally situated, it was too large and impersonal for our taste. Compared to other hotel experiences, we found the service to be slow and lackluster. Location is good beside quiet Marina park. Marina offers many activities. Food in restaurant is average and same every day, Nice staff but service is not the best, understaffed or badly managed, (have to get. own cutlery, no cups etc. Beach and pools are very nice, limited drinks available. The beachfront environment is nice, the house facilities are average, there was a party at the restaurant downstairs, it ended at nearly 12 o'clock, it was too noisy, I communicated N times but to no avail, it still ended at the same time, is it because of the local customs and habits to not accommodate other guests

If you're looking for a pool lounging hotel, there are better options within a 20 minute walk as this hotel had one small pool. Had a lovely relaxing few days at this hotel as part of a tour of Jordan. All of the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The bed was really comfortable and the room was spotless. I enjoyed sitting on my balcony with the lovely view of the Red Sea. Quite new hotel. Spacious room. I had suite so it was almost the same space as my own apartment :) Super nice staff. Close to downtown and sea. Around you have small markets, coffee shops. Good value. Noisy because of construction on other street side, but it won’t last forever :)

Taj Hotel is a great place to stay in Aqaba, with large and comfortable rooms, a complete breakfast, nice location (close to the beach, several restaurants, stores and supermarkets), and a very friendly staff. It was the ideal start for our trip to Jordan.

The hotel is very well placed for the souks and the beach front. It is clean, tidy and tremendous value for money. The staff were wonderfully helpful. Special mention for Mohammed for looking after our team of 4 tired Jordan Trail trekkers!

Incredibly well mannered and professional team run an exceptionally clean and well organised hotel - 7am breakfast is a huge help when planning trips - right away, you know you are in secure hands - a pleasure to stay there. Excellent location - close to the sea front, yet strategically located a little away from the energy and activity of the resort.

Very friendly and young stuff, big rooms, good price, nice accomodation were the best sides of hotel. But there are some disadvantages such as noisy construction activity next to hotel (mostly at the day time), old bazaar which you has to be passed every day. Anyway i will be back next time.

The hotel is in a busy city, but it is very quiet at night and there is no music. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to McDonald's from the side path. The stay was quite comfortable.

The room was quite nice. Breakfast a little poor. Location is good, just 200 m to the byzantine church and 500 m to the beach. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. It is a good option in Aqaba, even the reception does not look as a 4 star hotel.

It's no frills, but there is a liquor story next door and a restaurant opposite. It does appear to be on a main drag and the carpark below is busy. Lots of beeping horns etc. but it *is* a city centre. Rooms are clean, fairly spacious and basic.

The hotel is a very short walk from the center of town and close to the bus station. Room was comfortable and decent WiFi connections. Pool on the roof was quite when I was there as was the chill pit area and bar. Staff are friendly and always willing to assist with any query. Breakfast was included and had a decent choice of food with eggs cooked to order

Clean modern hotel in a good location, making it easy to walk to local sites, the beach and restaurants. They have a restaurant but I didn't try it. Didn't have much time to become familiar with the hotel so I can't speak to the amenities. Elevators were sure small but there was 2 of them.
