Babel Siem Reap Guesthouse

We are very fortunate to live in Siem Reap with plenty of delightful choices to indulge ourselves. Today, we enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Babel, and I am so excited to try more from their menu. The pulled pork tacos were incredible! 😋

It was such a peaceful afternoon relaxing in their gorgeous garden. The staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly, and the owners are wonderful. What a lovely family!

We experienced a very informative "Tuk Tuk Village Tour" with one of their extremely positive and informative guides, Data.
The local market part of the tour happened to be at one of our closest markets to our apartment in Siem Reap. Data's family also operates a stall here on occasion.
Data showed us all the farming culture surrounding his farm in the village. As well as, a local temple/cremation site used by locals.
The time on his Data's farm was magical. His beautiful wife Mila (a local Khmer chef herself) prepared our lunch while her beautiful children kept us entertained during the personal tour of the farm.
Over 6 hours very well spent. Thank you, Data!

This guesthouse is a little paradise!!!
The beautiful garden and the pool are the perfect place to relax and recharge after a busy day. The staff is extremely nice and attentive and always made sure we felt at home. Their tuktuk drivers are really helpful, kind and trustworthy. Our stay could not have been any better.

This is hands down the best place I've stayed in a long time. The accommodations are impeccably clean, and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. The restaurant offers delicious food that adds to the overall experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a family-friendly and peaceful stay.

Lovely Eco Friendly Guesthouse in the heart of Siem Reap and in one of the most popular neighborhoods in the city. Nice pool, friendly staff and owners all make Babel a nice mid-priced place to stay in the Kingdom of Wonder.

The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with extremely kind and helpful staff! I always felt super safe with my designated driver from the hotell, and ended up having three wonderful days in Siam due to his fun suggestions! The sustainability focus of the hotel and their work on giving back to the community makes it a place I feel good staying at.

I stayed at Babel guesthouse when I was in Siem Reap. I can absolutely recommend staying here! You can feel the good atmosphere the minute you set foot in the front garden of the guesthouse. The rooms are clean and cozy, the homemade food is so good, and the lovely people working here do everything they can to make your stay great. Recommend relaxing by the pool after a hot day in the temples.
I also love Babels approach to be a eco-friendly guesthouse, with focus on responsible tourism!

I enjoyed my time at Babel Guesthouse. We were welcomed by the staff and felt welcome. It was very nice there and a nice outdoor area with a swimming pool which was well used by us 🤩The food and drinks there was great, good selection 💞Babel Guesthouse is also well located in relation to places to go to, such as pub street. It was easy to get around, as they had their own tuktuk drivers who were right outside.☺️

A sweet find amongst the bustling streets of Siem Reap. As a solo traveler, I was a bit worried with a family friendly establishment… Babel exceeded my expectations from their delicious food, lush gardens, refreshing pool, and zen vibes. Kid zones are tastefully placed around the property without it feeling like too much.

The owners and staff are friendly, kind, and work diligently to ensure each guest feels at home. They are responsive to feedback and suggestions! I appreciate an establishment that is proactive to the individual needs of their patrons!

The best part of Babel besides the cozy rooms and vibe… their work to keeping Plant Earth green. The Babel shop is full of delightful organic locally sourced reusable products that enhance your traveling and daily life living.

Even if you do not stay at Babel, it’s worth stopping by to top up your travel size toiletries, cleaning products, and bug repellent in reusable containers!

The BABEL team are living and breathing their values of sustainable, ethical, compassionate hospitality without question💜 I loved their openness, their smiles, their quick response to help with absolutely anything, and the little oasis they have created in a perfectly located nook of Siem Reap, just off the river, and settled within a few steps of the fabulous Wat Bo Road precinct!
