Everything looks really great on the surface. It felt like when you get something from a cheap store that looks really modern, but falls apart the second you start using it. Our room’s A/C wasn’t working and when we mentioned it to reception, we were told that it doesn’t work well when the hotel is full. I mean there wasn’t any air coming out of the vent, so it definitely wasn’t working at all. The bathroom smelled fairly strong of cigarettes as if someone down the line of vents was just chain smoking. Really loved our visit to Kaunas, but this hotel really misses the mark.

The service in hotel is so weird, they charge you ant then when you asked for the confirmation from the card terminal they denied. I have explained that when I’m buying something I should receive the receipt, I know that receipt from terminal is optional until the customer not ask for it, and I have asked and do not receive. Rooms very dark, instead of free welcome drink I would rather prefer to have complimentary water in the room, either kettle with tee and coffee. I’m room weren’t also any wardrobe which in 3-star hotel is mandatory. One lift all the time blocked, so only one in use for six floor hotel.

WORST HOTEL STAY!
I was recommended to stay in your hotel during my stay in Lithuania both before after my bariatric surgery to recover before coming home. As I was only allowed to eat yogurt and milk for the days I stayed in your hotel, I asked a staff member would it be possible to keep a yogurt in the fridge to which she replied “no, because it’s unhygienic” - whattttt? I would have much preferred her to just say no, it’s against the rules than to give such a silly answer. She was so unbelievably unhelpful and her attitude stunk.
The bed was the worst thing I’ve ever slept on in my life and both myself and my husband’s backs are still recovering! We didn’t sleep for our whole stay which was absolutely awful considering I was trying to recover from surgery! The music pumped and pumped and pumped until all hours in the morning from Friday to Monday morning. When we were leaving for our flight on Monday at 4am the music was still pumping even though there was only 2 men sat in the lobby. It was such an unnecessarily uncomfortable overall stay! I would never ever stay here again and I’ve asked my clinic to take you off their recommended hotels to stay in Kaunas for their patients! I’ll also be posting to all the surgery support groups and Google to say what a terrible stay we had!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Moxy Kaunas hotel and would strongly advise against staying there. The staff exhibited unprofessional communication skills and were unable to provide adequate information about the parking, resulting in an unexpected charge of 45 euros for 24 hours. Despite their assurance to resolve the issue, they conveniently ceased responding to emails. The only redeeming quality of this establishment is its location. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
