A lovely place to stay, very polite and welcoming owners, the apartment have everything you need, they are spacious and pretty. Would definitely recommend to stay here if you visit Jurmala.
The sea is very close, same as the Main Street of jurmala with shops and restaurants. Will definitely return here.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. The location is good, all the sights, attractions and the sea are close. There is a parking on- site. Since the hotel is located by the road, it was noisy at night. Our room was okay. Although the sink in the bathroom was clogged. What i didn't like the most was the breakfast (it was for extra charge). The choice was small and the food itself was not fresh. Many vegetables have already spoiled. It felt like the food had been on the table for several days. By the way the service was nice and friendly.

Prices on hotel web page mean nothing at the desk. I reserved a place for a camper through phone. Price was complitely different when arrived. Over a double price, cash only, no receipt offered. Never again to this place. Seems that this kind of business could be run at Jurmala due to high amount of visitors.

I liked the hotel very much! Historical mansion with Jurmala architecture, beautiful, well-groomed territory? Hospitable staff, clean room, breakfasts pleased with their choice and freshness??? Will we come back again?

I stayed one night in Valensija with my boyfriend. We had booked the place via Booking.com and there the place looked quite decent, with good reviews and ok pictures. Apparently that was the hotel side (the big villa) but our room was for some reason in the side building that was more motel-like.
The whole 'motel-building' was badly outdated, dirty and awful. Our room was big but also straight from the 70's. The bed was hard and had definitely seen better days. I had to check the bed for bedbugs because the place gave me the vibes of that. Thankfully I didn't find any stains of bedbugs but who knows. We definitely had a variety of other bugs (dead and alive), in our room. I even found a dead bug between the sheets. That didn't left the feeling that it would be nice to sleep in the bed. The room also didn't really have any curtains, just some thin ones that didn't block any light and people from neigboring buildings probably saw everything happening in the room. Drinking glasses on the room had lip stains on them. The door and walls on this building were like paper and everything could be heard from different rooms/corridor.
The guy at the reception didn't really speak English. The guy was trying to tell something about the breakfast but it was really hard to understand. We hadn't chosen breakfast with our booking.
Some good things: there is free parking on the premises (though only 5 spots etc).
I do not recommend. I have no idea how the rooms are in the main building but this motel-building was definitely not worth of 60€ what we paid for one night.
