Hotel Forza Mare

We went to restaurant as we had previously a number of times for double birthday & despite wait staff good & attentive the new chef's food was poor - veal chops & corn was undercooked service sizes were basic, small & lacking accompaniments as previously & sides dishes needed now as accompaniments were extra expensive & poorly cooked & presented. Overall we felt ripped off seriously especially as we were charged $50.85 service charge. Get a better chef or we won't be back.

When it comes to vacation, we always choose 5 star hotels for the quality of the services and food as well as for a comfortable room.
However, besides all the good perks of this hotel I was not able to give a better grade.

Major perk of hotel Forza:

-The staff are incredibly nice, respectful and give an outstanding performance: They know what they are doing and have all the knowledges required to help you and answer to all of your questions; all the waiters were really nice and very kind, you can feel that they want to do a good job and they deliver it ! (Big up for Daniil)
- The breakfast was one of the best that we’ve ever had: at first we were a bit disappointed regarding the quantity but when you know that they only have 10 rooms, it makes perfect sense to not have a 1000 different meals, which give a very qualitative and fresh image. Well done for this, it was a real pleasure to come in the morning to have breakfast with you.
- modern decoration and bright common facilities.
-bed: these are very comfortable, finding the perfect balance between hardness and softness; pillows are not too numerous so therefore more place for us to sleep; bet sheets are very qualitative, the same a good balance between softness and adherence to the skin.

Main flaws of Forza Mare hotel:

- Saying that they have a minimum of room to offer, their location in the hotel are limited and therefore, not well placed: our room was literally at 2 meters from the main entrance door of the hotel. With all the hotel that we have done in the past, I have never seen such place for a room.
- comfortability of rooms: I would have not mind to be next to the main entrance if we would have not perceive any sound coming from the hallway, unfortunately this was not the case. I could have heard everyone coming through it, the door that opens and closes, the staff/or clients and receptionist on the phone at their desk.
- Isolation of room: I could have also hear the clients upstairs, their thousand steps in the night, their shower at 00h00 as well as when they go the toilet and flush it. I don’t mind to be in old facilities and hear some sounds, but this is not acceptable to hear all the actions of someone that you are not sharing a room with, especially for a 5 star hotel. Therefore I could not sleep, and this is very problematic for an hotel.
- room accommodation: the head of the bed was next to our door to access the room, which means that we were literally next to persons passing in the hallway, next to our heads; in the bathroom: we can’t fully open the shower’s door because the sink is in front of it; no electric drying rake, so a lot of humidity is present in there (risk of moisture increased); the door is not closing completely so when we take showers, water is dropping out on the floor which leads to literally of ponds formation on the bathroom floor.

To put it in a nutshell, I think you did an outstanding job in giving a real qualitative experience for the breakfast and the food in general, as well as in forming your staff which are doing a very good job. So thanks to you and them !
But where for us there was a lack of professionalism, was the attention you give to the rooms, or in our room at least. For a 5 star hotel, it is not possible to give a room where you hear everything. I know that a I am personally sensible to sounds, but objectively (also according to my partner) we were hearing too much of what the person upstairs was doing, and this is not possible because we had no privacy whatsoever. Therefore, I did not sleep the first night and at the end nothing was offered or anything else, which was a bit annoying as during this same night at 23h30-40 I got out of my room to let know the receptionist and nothing was done.
Also, the bathroom has also to be reviewed and repaired, because we should also be able to take our shower properly.

I know that my review might be strict, but as I am used to 5 stars hotels, they are some aspects that cannot be neglected in such luxurious facilities.
