Where to stay in Dobrota

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week. To begin, the staff were incredibly polite with great recommendations for local restaurants and always willing to help with things like excursions, taxis, etc. The scenery of the hotel was incredible, pool very clean and the location was great as we expected to be a 10 minute drive from kotor old town. Absolutely loved our stay and will be returning.

Stunning hotel in a great location, staff super friendly and helpful. Our room was really nice, very comfortable, clean and tidy. Pool area was beautiful as was the dock where the sunbeds were set by the sea. Really good breakfast and drinks by the pool or beach were great. Would highly recommend.

Just go back from 5 amazing days here the hotel is stunning with amazing views, and facilities, the location is perfect, just outside Kotor so away from the hustle, but very easy 35 min walk or 5 mins in a taxi into Kotor old town. Staff were brilliant, always there and helpful, and the room and facilities made this an amazing holiday, got to be honest only went in the pool once, but was really nice...

Without doubt the best and friendliest hotel we have ever stayed at. The team working there were all brilliant, the rooms were lovely and so was the breakfast which was fresh and varied. Amazing staff and a wonderful hotel Lovely staff made all the difference. We arrived early just to drop off our bags and head back out but they immediately offered us to take breakfast and coffee/tea whilst we await a taxi. Around 50-60 min walk to the old town, there are no pavements but the road wasn't too busy so it wasn't a problem for us. The staffs are real friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. The room is not too large and smelly from the toilet. The most important thing is that the water is completely not hot enough.

Small, compact, home away from home holiday accommodation. Transport to Kotor and Tivat towns are accessible by bus (cost €2) from the hotel's doorstep. Staff were super amazing.

Superb location along Kotor Bay. Peaceful spot outside of the main town of Kotor. My room had a water view, service was great, breakfast was also great, there are a few free parking spaces outside the hotel. I went in the off season and parking was not an issue. For an American visiting the area, the bed wasn't quite up to the comfort standard that I would expect for a 3-star American hotel. However...

Nigel and Filip were very accommodating and took great care of my parents during their stay. The room had an excellent view and the property location is great. They assisted with restaurant recommendations which were all excellent.

Our stay at Palazzo Sbutega truly made our trip to Montenegro special. From the first moment we arrived we felt right at home and knew we had made the right choice. First of all, the hotel is very clean, as in the photos, and its location is beautiful. The location of the hotel is quiet and very close to the sea. But most importantly, Philip, who took care of us, was very polite and helpful. I thank him again. We stayed at the hotel for 2 days and enjoyed it very much.

Nice accomodations when we drive to Albania.

It has an amazing view. There is alot of restaurants and markets close if you need. It also has a decent swimming pool. The place is close to many beautiful and old places the you shouldn't miss.

We had a great time there. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. The rooms are good but objects are a bit old. It is very close to the sea, just takes 5 minutes down. Above all, the owners are pretty, they offer handmade coffee all the time and there is a cosy atmosphere.

We stayed here for 5 nights in one of the family suites. We had a generally positive experience and loved the spectacular location, the quiet luxury of the décor, and the wonderful terrace. Beautiful hotel ! The location is perfect to avoid the cruise-crowd and you can reach the old town with a quick taxi ride. The rooms are air-conditioned and quiet. Restaurant is very good and all staff are friendly. The hotel has a lot of stairs but they will help you carry your luggage ;)

Honeymooned here while my wife and I stayed in Kotor. Super friendly staff, they were gracious enough to make my wife and I a couple of packaged lunches when we had to leave early in the morning the drive to Dubrovnik, Croatia for a morning flight back home. If you're looking for historical, beautiful hotel in an amazing location I would recommend staying here!

Great hotel with good view. It is far away from the center though.

The room is very old and the sanitary conditions are not good, but the location is good.

I think it is a hotel turned into a villa, the location is 5-10 minutes from everywhere, the parking fee is 15 Euros, don't pay, there is a free parking lot in the neighborhood right across, there is the coastal road below, I recommend it for walking.

The Seaview Bay Deluxe Double Room is actually a house next to the road, what kind of sea can you see!! It's very noisy. In my opinion, this is the perfect hotel. It’s just a 7-minute drive into the old town, and the hotel offers AC, a clean pool, and stunning views. However, you will need to rent a car or taxi everywhere if you stay here. The only downside is the consistently loud music in the lobby and by the pool. Despite being the only guests around, our request to lower the volume was denied.

Just arrived back to UK after 3 nights here with wife and two kids, following 5 nights at the Rixos Dubvrovnik. It’s a fairly new place and spotlessly clean. The hotel staff were excellent! I fell sick on the first day, they organised a driver to take me to hospital, they cooked me soup whilst I was recovering and they made sure I was ok every day. Situated on the seaside road Hotel Sara was a great place for few day stay at the Kotor bay. The staff was friendly and our room was clean and modern. Nearby you can find nice restaurants for drinks or food. Parking in front of the hotel. Modest but satisfying breakfast was included. Ask for Nicola at the reception for transportation!

Stayed here as part of a small group tour, rooms were fine but needed a really good clean, particularly the bathroom. Breakfast and coffee were very ordinary.

Marija2 is a very good hotel in Dobrota, Kotor. Accommodation is very comfortable and reasonably priced, which includes a very nice buffet breakfast. There is free parking on site and free Wi/Fi. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It is within walking distance of the beach with sunbeds and cafe/bar with a good variety of snacks. Very nice villa. The pool is also awesome. The rooms are very nicely decorated and actually look much better than the photos on the internet suggest. The villa is located slightly above the bay, so you have a wonderful view from here.

Very nice host and good rooms near the beachfront.

Very nice and hospitable hostess Dubi. The guest house has only 3 guest rooms. Two double rooms (with one and two beds) have a balcony with a partial view of the bay. Single window overlooks the mountains. Guests have access to shared bathroom facilities and a terrace with mountain views. Very clean and very quiet.
