Great restaurant, tasty food, very nice hotel
This was our favorite hotel in Montenegro. While in other places we experienced rudeness and disregard, this hotel had warm workers that were accommodating at every turn. Clean and pleasant. We love Chucho the house dog!
Fair price, next to park, unfortunately noise from the road and smoky room, very helpful staff
Definitely worth the money, and what's most important it is not overpriced. It has big rooms and the service is great. The restaurant is very cozy, especially in winter. I loved it here.

Every team member of the staff was great and friendly, very comfortable stay, food was superb, both for breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, convenient location.
Hotel is very nice and clean, very close to the city center. The hosts were kind and friendly.
We had beautiful stay and definetely will come again.
Very nice hotel and hospitable staff.... I strongly recommend.
I was born and raised in California, and our family has known about this place for years. The name of the hotel is the same as my family’s last name and we feel as though we almost definitely are related to the owners! Would love to get in contact with the owners!
Stayed overnight and enjoyed it profoundly. The room is spacious and clean, the food is amazing, the chef is just exceptional and deserves Michelin Star award for the way he grilled a few different type of fish. The service was immaculate, the staff friendly and welcoming.Highly recommended.
Well, i didn't stay in the hotel, it was just a stop in my trip, but thay make a good coffee and also you can enjoy great views of montenegro hills and miuntains

The hotel is at the very top end of Dobrota on the sea front. There are many budgets and some extremely expensive restaurants and bars within in walking distance of the hotel The swimming area is super and looked after by efficient staff. It is separated from the hotel by a very busy narrow holiday road. The hotel accommodation is small but has apartments next door. The adjacent accomodation has...
The hotel in a fantastic location right on the water in Dobrata, just a few kilometres from Kotor old town. It was close to a good selection of bars and restaurants. The staff were fantastic - super friendly and helpful. There was a private beach with free sunbeds for hotel guests and a small pool that was immaculately clean. We stayed for two weeks and would have happily stayed longer. The hotel now...
This place is simply superb. The location and views are breathtaking. You can go for a quick stroll along the waters. Staff are very polite and friendly. Bojona and Nikola were particularly helpful. They serve very nice breakfast including local delicacies. Rooms are big and clean. They have a nice pool and sunbathing area which is open in summers. Definitely recommend.
One of the best hotels ever visited. Great service and helpfull people working here. Breakfast was also very good and veried considering hotel only has 10 rooms.
We had room in the 2. Floor. Very beautiful view and clean room. Parking was also included.
Very nice boutique hotel with beautiful views on the Kotor Bay! Attentive and friendly stuff, nice and quiet pool area, access to a water front (can’t call it a beach) with lounge chairs and umbrellas . Walking distance to restaurants coffee shops annd oyster farms. Hotel needs a repairman to fix some obvious items like peeling wallpaper in the hall and stained carpets in the rooms ! Other than that...
We had a room in the new building of the hotel. We had a fantastic stay. The view was amazing and the location was perfect. The hotel internal beach area was so relaxing.
Also the manager and the entire staff were really supportive and friendly. Highly recommend this place!

The Hotel has very big potential however there are several issues which need to be addressed: First of all the view when having the very good breakfast is spectacular. The rooms are nice however in the bathroom there was often a very foul smell coming from the bottom and also there were spots which were not cleaned at all during the week. The pool area is nice, however when the hotel is full it is...
Several issues,about our staying...June 2021
The location is on a hill,so you have to use about 100 steps to reach Perast..You must rent a car..for visiting and the tiny Muntenegro is beautiful...
But the most annoying issue is the building working just 20 meter from the windows..they are starting to work at 7 a.m and really disturb .The room is lovely albeit the air conditioning is not working well...
Recommended. Good location, 2-3 minutes walk to the sea, car parking, free Wi-Fi, excellent breakfast. Also our deluxe sea view room (with terrace) had a very good mattress on the bed.
Recommended. Good location, a 2-3 minutes walks down to the sea, car parking, free WiFi, excellent breakfast. Also in our room -the Luxury suite sea view (with terrace) was the very good mattress on the bed.
Wonderful holiday, luxury, luxurious place..........
Amazing place, beautiful view, great staff, high hospitality.
Delicious food, which I honestly didn't expect. Their restaurant is simply amazing.
The rooms are specious and clean.
Parking really means a lot. It's not really close to the beach, you have to climb a bit, but the view, parking, rooms, food definitely worth it. Also if you like to travel to different beaches it's great place.

A lovely boutique hotel, very charming and Perast is incredibly beautiful. PRO'S - cute, charming hotel, the food in the restaurant was lovely, we had lunch there once. - we got room 44 away from reception, and it was really large and comfortable, id recommend this room (no ses view though) - Ed, Mia, Balca and Addis made our stay delightful. Ed the front office manager had impeccable customer service...
Beautiful setting, wonderful staff and incredible food! Would thoroughly recommend the restaurant to everyone. Nothing was too much trouble and our brilliant waiter went to great lengths to find gluten free bread for us alongside excellent service!
This hotel has a main building and then rooms which are scattered around the old city of Perast in hotels with different names and probably different standards. Our room was small and cramped, on the ground floor the window opened directly to the alley with people walking by able to look in. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good . Breakfast was excellent with many choices and the option...
The hotel is right by the Adriatic Sea. It was converted from several residential buildings with different room types, ranging from nearly 30 square meters to only 18 square meters. The environment is first-class, the service is thoughtful, and there is a little surprise: local refrigerator magnets were given when checking out!
The view of Perast is amazing and the hotel is worth staying in. The windows in old buildings are relatively small. The so-called sea view is actually the sea view through the small windows.
The service in Montenegro was particularly good. There was no elevator, so a strong man helped us carry our luggage, and we gave him a small tip at the end. Overall worth recommending

We spent 4 nights here and it was perfect. It's in a great location, all the staff are so friendly & helpful with tips abouts beach club, buses, boats etc. Beds are comfy, room was spotless, only comment is glass wall in bathroom reduces privacy. As mother & daughter travel this wasn't ideal but we worked around it and everything else about the hotel is wonderful. Breakfast is served in adjacent...
Stunning hotel which was spotlessly clean. The interior was very stylish, albeit the room was quite small with no spaces for suitcases. This was fine for a few days but any longer than that I think more room would be needed. We would have loved a coffee machine in the room or a kettle as breakfast wasn’t available until 8am and there was no where to get a coffee before then (we’re early risers!) The...
While the room size is compact this is understandable due to the age and historical nature of the building. Having said that, it was a real gem and our stay was most comfortable. For breakfast, I wish they had a coffee machine that does not use powdered milk (I found the cappuccino to be undrinkable).
We had a truly delightful stay at Heritage Lion Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, especially by Ms. Samandıra, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed at this wonderful place in October with our family, and our experience was nothing short of amazing!
The building is absolutely stunning, the surrounding area is beautifully maintained, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the rooms are clean and modern.
If you choose a room with a sea view, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking panorama of the bay!

Absolutely adorable location and hotel. The town itself gets busy during the day with more and more tours arriving, but as long as you discover the town in the morning and afternoon, and spend the day in Kotor or elsewhere, you’ll avoid the crowd and love this hotel.

My fiancé and I had the most wonderful stay at Palazzo Radomiri. From the very first moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome and at home.

We stayed here for 5 nights in one of the family suites. We had a generally positive experience and loved the spectacular location, the quiet luxury of the décor, and the wonderful terrace. Beautiful hotel !
The location is perfect to avoid the cruise-crowd and you can reach the old town with a quick taxi ride.

In my opinion, this is the perfect hotel. It’s just a 7-minute drive into the old town, and the hotel offers AC, a clean pool, and stunning views. However, you will need to rent a car or taxi everywhere if you stay here. The only downside is the consistently loud music in the lobby and by the pool. Despite being the only guests around, our request to lower the volume was denied.
The hotel is a lovely, clean and well decorated boutique hotel. The beds are very comfy and the views from the balcony and roof terrace are outstanding! Lovely boutique hotel with eleven rooms. We thought the room was nicely furnished and well equipped although a kettle or coffee machine should be included in a "superior" room at this price point. We had an absolutely delightful stay for three nights at this charming, small, old-style hotel right near the sea shore. The staffs are real friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. The room is not too large and smelly from the toilet. The most important thing is that the water is completely not hot enough.
Small, compact, home away from home holiday accommodation. Transport to Kotor and Tivat towns are accessible by bus (cost €2) from the hotel's doorstep. Staff were super amazing.

The hotel we preferred for Kotor. It was so nice that we extended our vacation for one more day. The woman who took care of us at the hotel was very sweet and smiling yüzlü☺️ The hotel was very clean, we had no problem parking the car. Breakfast was enough for us. Superb location along Kotor Bay. Peaceful spot outside of the main town of Kotor. Great location, friendly staff, and a good restaurant - I had a great (but short) stay at the hotel and can definitely recommend it for people looking to be close but not in Old Town. The My only complaint was when I asked someone at the front desk to help book me a ride to the airport and they said it would be €40 - I declined and got a taxi for €23.

Tiny bathroom and main bedroom. Unbelievably noisy. Next to bars that played loud music until 1 am. Everyone staying seemed to be making the same complaint. We had a great stay at this wonderful hotel. Breakfast food is well prepared and thought off. Rooms are clean and spacious, they use well branded shampoo, conditioners and body wash in the bathroom. The staff are amazingly attentive, polite, respectful and helpful. Being in the center of Old Town Kotor, it allows you access to everything you need during your stay.
Pros: wonderful location, good breakfast
Cons: stayed in two different rooms, both of which didn't have a working air conditioner - in 35 degree weather. Hotel couldn't even offer a fan. It was unbearable.
Nice location but place has strong pros and cons
The decor of the room is a bit gawdy. One can keep hearing many sounds and noise including the time bell which can be disturbing.
Food was just ok.
Tres lychee dessert was good.
But service of staff was very good.
Good thing is it’s in the old city and easy to go around.
Nice view from the room balcony
So take your pic accordingly

Because I booked it two days before check-in, the price was very expensive, but the room was large, and it was in the ancient city of Kotor. You could wander around the ancient city as late as you wanted at night. The front desk service is very good 👍

It is one of the best places we stayed in during our recent vacation in Kotor. The rooms are cozy and well appointed. Breakfast was really good with excellent choices. The central location makes the hotel ideal as we could reach most of the places we wanted to visit with ease. The gym, sauna and other amenities make it convenient and the overall service is excellent.
Excellent Location, large, comfortable beds, service second to none. Courtyard dining and refreshments in the sun is an outstanding experience to watch the world go by. Very well looked after by very attentive staff. Breakfast hot (Bacon/eggs/sausage etc) help yourself and cold, croissants, cakes, savouries, fruit, salads etc. coffee on tap in small cups so machine frequently visited! Large bed in...
Overall this hotel was lovely. A couple of things I found a little strange - e.g. when requesting to book the sauna in advance I was first told it could be booked until 10pm but later was told I was too late to book at 8.30pm. We were there early November at shoulder season and sometimes the restaurant would not be open in the evening although this wasn't made clear. However, the hotel was very comfortable...
I was very satisfied with Hotel Vardar. The rooms are very large and I had a beautiful view of the square and the walls. The breakfast was plentiful with many choices. In the maze of Kotor Old Town, this hotel is easy to find as it’s near the sea gate. I didn’t have any issues with noise, as others have reported, at the time of my visit. Highly recommend.
We loved our two nights at Hotel Vardar. The staff were very accommodating and upgraded us to a balcony room with great views of the square. The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. It was also remarkably well sound proofed. We enjoyed the use of the gym (there is also a sauna) and complimentary breakfast which had a great range. We would love to come back and stay at Hotel Vardar.
We didn’t stay in the Hotel Varder but we had a wonderful dining experience in the restaurant. Great service, delicious meals with a beautiful setting. By chance we chose to eat lunch at the Varder when exploring the Old City in Kotor Montenegro. My group and I would make the Varder a destination next time in Kotor.

Very clean and comfortable bed. Easy to reach in the old town. Owners are great, they help you with anything and guide you honestly.
A wonderful place to stay, in the heart of the walled city.
Daria at check in was super helpful, providing details of restaurants, cafés and the best coffee in Montenegro.
The room contains everything that you could possibly want for a great stay. Large comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, TV. Large modern bathroom
The rooms have been tastefully decorated and updated with modern...
The Guesthouse is located inside the Old Town which is great. There is a souvenir shop with the same name, so you enter there and do the check-in.
There isn't any elevator but the girls are nice, polite and willing to help.
The room was spacious and had all amenities. There was a big bottle of water for free, a small bottle of Prosecco still for free, little chocolates, coffee and tea which is great...
A very cozy stay with professional and generous hosts. Perfect location for a stay in Kotor to discover the city & region. Also shoutout to restaurant La Catedral Pasta Bar. The long line (all evening) was warranted - so make a reservation or show up on time
This is tricky review because loved Kotor and when I met the manager of Antika, once the day after I checked in he was nice and made great suggestions. However on day I checked there was nobody there to welcome me and local restaurant had to call someone to let me in. Although amazing 13th century building there are several steep steps to apartment. Also on last day had no electricity to my room,...
What a delightful guest house! Easy to find in the heart of the charming old city, really well located, in the midst of restaurants, shops and bars, and a short walk to the seafront. The manager Boban was so kind and helpful, especially with use of the kitchen, and telling me the best places to visit. The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable bed and lovely modern bathroom. Hope to return for...

Great location! Waking discussing to old town. Across the street are the boat tours. The hotel is clean and the staff are really helpful. Each one of the receptionists went out of their way to answer our questions, make recommendations, and make life easier. Great, great hotel!
A modern, looked after hotel close to the old town. I would stay there again.
Basically it's good, the room is big, the location is convenient, and the service is OK. But some of the facilities in the room are a bit old, and don't let the hotel call a taxi because the charge is more than twice the normal price.
My son Zachary W. stayed here with his friend Evan for 7 nights in early August 2024. I visited him and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The views of the bay were beautiful. The proximity to the city center was 5 minutes walk.
There’s a grocery store nearby, as well as many restaurants. It’s a quiet hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful to my son and his friend. My son reported that...
Good location & modern. I liked that the AC will keep on even if you are not in the room and the card is not inserted in 👍
Also, big room with ref & safe
Very good
The staff is so lovely!!! We booked this hotel last minute after a terrible Air BnB experience and this hotel was perfect for a quick weekend. Comfortable beds and strong air conditioning. Close proximity to old town.
