Art Hotel Galathea

We had an absolutely delightful stay for three nights at this charming, small, old-style hotel right near the sea shore. Every staff member works hard to create that ambiance of "family" that makes this place special. They don't have a gym, but they have a small private beach just across the road for tanning, swimming and cooling off. They don't have the largest breakfast buffet, but they have a carefully curated breakfast platter with several a la carte options on top of that. There is also a bar that serves great coffee and drinks, in addition to the minibar in your room. There are small shops and restaurants nearby. Management allows you to bring in food to enjoy on the terrace. Of the many hotels we stayed in during five weeks on the road in Europe, this one is the one we remember most fondly.

The staffs are real friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. The room is not too large and smelly from the toilet. The most important thing is that the water is completely not hot enough.

Small, compact, home away from home holiday accommodation. Transport to Kotor and Tivat towns are accessible by bus (cost €2) from the hotel's doorstep. Staff were super amazing.

Amazing hotel
The hotel we preferred for Kotor. It was so nice that we extended our vacation for one more day. The woman who took care of us at the hotel was very sweet and smiling yüzlü☺️ The hotel was very clean, we had no problem parking the car. Breakfast was enough for us. Although we went out of season, it was a very caring and nice hotel. The view was also very nice. Thank you for everything ☺️

Superb location along Kotor Bay. Peaceful spot outside of the main town of Kotor. My room had a water view, service was great, breakfast was also great, there are a few free parking spaces outside the hotel. I went in the off season and parking was not an issue. For an American visiting the area, the bed wasn't quite up to the comfort standard that I would expect for a 3-star American hotel. However, that's being overlooked with my rating because everything else was great!

We were with our family in the summer of 2019. Excellent hotel, great view from the window, beach within walking distance, varied food. Overall, we were completely satisfied!

Rest for the soul, I am delighted! Quiet and cozy hotel, polite and tactful staff! The view around our place of rest deserves a separate story, but it is better to visit once than to hear 100 times! Recommended for family holidays.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Galatea! From the private waterfront dock to the amazing breakfast, we enjoyed every second. The staff was by far the best part of our stay. Saldjen was incredible and treated us like family. We wanted a boat tour and Saldjen arranged for us to be picked up and dropped off on the dock so we didn’t have to go all the way into Kotor. Truly amazing! I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family. We will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a truly remarkable hotel that exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment I arrived, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The location is simply stunning — nestled right along the coast, with breathtaking bay views.
The service was exceptional. We were the only guests there (offseason) and the woman whose name I forgot went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and taken care of. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive, offering local tips and making me feel like a I was at her home.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. Included in the room rate, it was an absolute treat. Freshly made pastries everyday, locally sourced fruits, and warm comforting Cappuccinos. The tables overlooking the sea on the deck provided the perfect setting to start the day.

The hotel itself had such a charming, 8th century feel with stone walls and circular staircases.

All in all, this hotel blew my mind. It truly set a new standard for what a relaxing, luxurious, and memorable stay should be. I can’t recommend it enough
