Reviews
We had reserved a car for 7:00 PM, but we were informed that it wouldn’t be available until the next morning. We asked the hotel reception about car rental, and within a few hours, the car was waiting for us in the parking lot, which is secure and spacious. Thanks again to the staff!
Check-in is from 2:00 PM. We arrived earlier, and they offered to store our luggage so we could enjoy the pool area. The pool area is always clean and looks immaculate, with waitstaff constantly around to ensure guests have everything they need. We had an amazing time relaxing!
Thank you to the entire Momentum team for your care—our vacation was wonderful! We hope to see you again ☺️👌
We stayed in the basic level room in ‘Block B’ - it felt new and clean and the air con was brilliant. Maybe the hotel has updated the rooms since the negative reviews but you can ignore these from my experience.
We didn’t eat in the restaurant but had breakfast every morning and the food was nice with plenty of hot, cold, pastry & fruit options.
The only thing to note is the location - it is situated within a residential area (you can see a view of flats to one side of the pool area) and there are building works happening nearby. It doesn’t feel like a luxury area. However, the hotel itself feels luxurious and once we were inside the resort, it didn’t affect our stay at all and there was no noise etc. You are away from the hustle and bustle of the city but be aware that it is a 25-30 minute walk to the old town.
Overall, we had an amazing stay at Momentum and would recommend it highly. Thank you again to all of the staff.
The pool is nice and clean.
Recommend having a car.
1. The hotel is located inside a residential area, but for me personally this was not a problem. I have never seen anyone look askance from these houses while I was resting
2. The central entrance is really difficult to find (I’ll attach a photo of the side door that Google Maps leads to, to make it easier to figure out where to go)
3. FOOD. As soon as we checked in, in the hotel cafe we took pizza, coffee, 2 cocktails (non-alcoholic mojito and a children's cocktail Disneyland) all cocktails 3/10, I never understood how you can save on non-alcoholic cocktails and add little syrup, because it turns out just water ( this concerns mojito), but the fact that for children is simply terrible. It's terribly sweet red water with ice. I would rather give a child a lump of sugar than this cocktail. Pizza is mayonnaise with cheese and thick dough. I couldn’t even eat it, it was just tasteless. I do not recommend dining at this hotel.
4. BREAKFAST. In principle, not bad, but the coffee is very diluted with water, the scrambled eggs are tasteless, the sausages are made of paper. But there is a large selection of everything and you can find at least something tasty (I liked a large number of fruits - watermelon, melon, banana, apple)
5. NUMBER. You are offered a choice of rooms in block A and B. At first we did not understand the difference, we called the hotel and they told us 'these blocks differ only in that block A is located a little closer to the pool and there is a restaurant in it, otherwise everything is the same'
THIS INFORMATION FROM THE HOTEL IS INCORRECT, TC block B is an old building, the rooms in it are clearly worse, old air conditioners, and the worst thing is the bathroom. Since there is no partition in the shower, all the water flows onto the floor and your bathroom is literally in water. It is impossible to use the bathroom after showering. I had to collect water all over the bathroom every time.
6. There were interruptions in hot water. I think this is due to the fact that we lived in an older building in block B (since it is part of a residential building and there may be problems associated with this). One evening the water simply ran out and I had to wash myself with cold water.
BOTTOM LINE: the hotel has everything you need to make your guests' holiday better, but the food and rooms are a huge minus of this hotel.
During all vacation we had tramendusly problems with basic functionalities like hot water, air-conditioning and lights. Reseption representatives are not willing to help and very not nice.
There was no hot water on the first room. Then they moved us to the second room for 2 nights to fix the problem, then they forced us to move back to the first room and there was still no hot water.
Furthermore, light and air conditioning in the rooms are not working properly, the rooms was noisy and very dirty (the towels with stains and hair), and the bar team don't know to speak English.
Hotel is definitely worth around 90-120 EUR per night, not more.
Pros:
1. Breakfast was good. But it would be good to have some better fruit selection and freshly squeezed juices :)
2. The hotel is very clean and tidy. Pools are clean too.
3. Nearly no children were in the hotel, which was relaxing.
4. Friendly staff.
Cons:
1. Location was poor, though if you pay around 100 EUR per night then it's not that big of a complaint. But from block B the construction works outside are intense. They start at 5:00 AM and you can not sleep.
2. Safe in the room did not work.
3. We have to admit that Budva is depressing if the weather is bad. Be careful!
Overall, hotel was a great experience for the price range. I would not say that you should pay more then 120 per night, but if the price is lower then this then it is a gem. You won't be able to find better deal. If the price is higher then compare with other options.
The breakfast was very disappointing because they only cook eggs. There is one tray of desserts and very tasteless, mostly dry, hard waffles.
You can't bring your own water or other food to the pool and the Waitress insistently offers to buy drinks all the time.
The hotel is located between several local builds, so there is a lot of noise around, children screaming at night and cats meowing loudly, the windows must be closed
They can give you a room in an old building next to the hotel.
The rating of the hotel does not correspond to reality
I would not choose this hotel again.
