I can't express enough how wonderful our experience was! The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking, offering stunning vistas that you won't easily forget. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything you need, from shops and restaurants to the beautiful beach.
What really made our stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality of Peter and his wife. They took special care of every guest, ensuring that everyone was happy and comfortable. They are, without a doubt, one of the the best managers I have ever encountered. Peter and his wife checked on us daily, always asking how we were and offering excellent advice about the area.
I highly recommend listening to Peter's recommendations – they truly enhanced our visit. If you're looking for a memorable and delightful stay in Petrovac, this hotel is the perfect choice!

Thank you to Peter and his fantastic team for such a wonderful stay at Hotel Riva. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful and friendly and Peter (the owner) himself was a charming host. The hotel is smart, well appointed and excellently located right on the beach front, with easy access to its own section of private beach (a must in this busy but attractive resort). If you are planning to stay in Petrovac we can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

We had a wonderful few days here in the beautiful top floor suite which was perfect for my family of four. The location, food and beach are all great but what makes this hotel really special are the people. The staff were all exceptional we all felt incredibly well looked after at well above a five star standard. Thank you

My family and I spent 10 days in the top floor of this hotel. Great room with all facilities including a kitchen and a washing machine if you need that sort of thing.

The view was great and the food was good. A bit small breakfast buffet, but all the essentials are there. What made this stay extra special was the staff. They are extremely professional, polite and interrested in making our stay as smooth as possible. I could go on and on with details, but my star rating says it all.

Clean recent hotel, very well maintained. Spacious rooms, very nice rain shower and bathroom overall. Excellent restaurant, best of Petrovac if you ask me. Friendly people. Nice seaside location, great breakfast. Close to supermarket, restaurants, bakery, beach,...

Only minor downside is narrow access to the parking, sometimes blocked by deliveries. And not sure if this is the habit in Montenegro, but as a guest I would expect sun beds on the beach to be complimentary.

We had an amazing week at this hotel staff and everyone were helpful and very attentive to your needs the best thing was the food it was superior breakfast was continental but the range on offer was fantastic the Hotel owners were so friendly and worked along side their staff ensuring everyone was happy the rooms were outstanding comfortable and very well presented area was quiet but something for everyone bus station close by and plenty to see and discover. We returned for our evening meal as it was the best around we were only B & B but recommend to foodies start at the top and work your way through !!

My review is about restaurant only.
In simple words it's exceptional. The service is head and shoulders above most places in Petrovac, the quality of food is spot on.
The hit for us was kids section of the menu with creative names for a safe kids option. Our children have everything that was on the plate - chicken,chips and salad.
It was a €100 family dinner with drinks, but worth every penny of it.

HOTEL: Had a privilege of spending 10 days in this beautiful hotel in the beginning of September. There are two things that stood out right away. The people and the place itself. The latter is almost too perfect. Decorated with taste, just spacious enough, immaculately clean and located smack in the middle of everything. As perfect as the hotel and rooms may be, they pale in comparison to the people running it. You can tell the employees are satisfied and “the boss” is present. People are incredibly nice and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We are especially grateful for the time and effort they put into taking care of our daughter’s needs since she has allergies to certain types of food. More on this in the review of the restaurant but I have to mention that not once we were under the impression that we were too demanding. The breakfast buffet is plentiful both in size and variety and the food is delicious. Same goes for other meals. Special thanks to Petar and Nataša for being such generous hosts!

RESTAURANT: We stayed at the hotel of the same name for the 10 days so the choice for the first meal was obvious. The problem (if I may call it like that) was that the first experience was so amazing that it almost completely put us off from trying any other places. Let’s start with the not-so-important things. The location is great and the view perfect – from the terrace you can literally jump onto the beach. The place is spotless and has a very high-end feel to it. The prices are comparable to the surrounding restaurants but I believe the food is better. Not because we tried every single one of them but because it was damn near perfect. The variety of choices made me repeat only one meal in 10 days and that was my choice for the final dinner (couldn’t resist the pasta… truly sublime). If given the chance of one meal I’d go for the fish (an obvious choice) but you really can’t go wrong with anything. The staff is incredibly nice and I’d go as far as to say we created a bond while staying there. What is more important to us, they were very attentive to the somewhat restrictive diet our daughter is on because of her pretty severe allergies. Not once we felt like they mind an extra trip to the kitchen to ask and double check all the ingredients and there hasn’t been a single mistake made on their part. Hard to describe the peace of mind that brought us. When we return, I know where to go. And don’t sleep on the deserts and coffee!
